Such an excellent store and cafe!
When the first opened they only had drinks and also gourmet soy sauce and miso paste, truly excellent products. Now they also have very creative lattes, ice cream, cakes, cookies (all based on traditional japanese ingredients) and cooking/tofu prep classes.
The 4 year fermented soy sauce is so delicious that it's a let down to have sushi with any other soy. The miso paste is also great to cook with.
The cakes they make to take home or also to have in the cafe are also just truly excellent. Of course made in-house, they're creative and delicate with uncommon ingredients - not the typical heavy load from your average cafe or bakery.
At the top of the pyramid, just in the store for a couple weeks are these absolutely delicious cookies. Perhaps the best cookies I've ever had in my life. They have 4 flavors, strawberry white chocolate (favorite), a matcha - with a soft bean middle, a chocolate chip pecan and a walnut - black sesame.
