Delicious pancakes that were so fluffy! We tried a few types and each one made us and our kids oooo and ahhh. There was a line when we got there and we can see why. The staff was great!

    Ridiculously amazing

/)/) ( . .) ( づ delicious breakfast! Had the avocado toast with poached eggs. Very good and filling. My fav was the chicken club sandwich with bacon. Smokey flavor, nice texture. Wasn't a big fan of the Granola yoghurt. Nothing special and outstanding about it. A bit disappointed. It was just yoghurt with granola and little bit of fruits. You can do that at home too. Blueberry Pancakes were super fluffy and dense. Very delicious blueberry sauce! Highly recommend you to try their pancakes. Interior design is very hipster. Not very comfy chairs I have to say... also you definitely have to bring some time because there's always a line. Price wise it's okay.

Delicious coffee and fruit juices. We ordered passion fruit juice and it's not too sweet and a hint of tartness! We ordered 5 dishes. The food came out quickly and very fresh. The pancakes were light and fluffy. The blueberry sauce was delicious and fruity. The banana and caramel pancakes were to die for, it'll definitely put you into a food coma. The sandwich was good but a little messy to eat. The bread is crusty and the filling was flavorful. The eggs Benedict came with either bacon or prosciutto. I chose prosciutto but it tasted like deli sliced ham. Lastly, our French toast platter was huge and we couldn't even finish it!! Our waitress was very nice and friendly too!! Go before 3pm because they close early !!!

    Pancakes with bacon and eggs

The food was divine, ordered savory pancake dish. Came with two fried eggs, bacon, sweet cream sauce, syrup, and greens. Then ordered a side salad, which was perfectly dressed. The service was a bit slow, but the waiter was friendly and knowledgeable. Felt like a local spot with beautiful decor and ambiance!

Food was extremely delicious, a very nice seating area there was a waiting list but it was worth it! Really close to Mauerpark if you go on Sunday you can enjoy the flea market that's happening there

When our original breakfast plans got foiled, we found Cafe Krone with great reviews and decided to stop in. They offer a variety of breakfast items - including one of my favorites, pancakes topped with eggs and bacon. The bacon was crunchy, the eggs were runny, the pancakes were fluffy. What else do you need in life? The server was super friendly and spoke English like all of our dining encounters in Berlin.

    fruit bowl with orange juice

I've never had pancakes this amazing! Fresh squeezed orange juice was perfect, service was great, and the food was to die for! Definitely going back :)

Had the best breakfast in Berlin here. The ambiance is very homey, great customer service, and the brunch selection is very good. Highly recommend and will come here again soon.

    Swiss Alps mit Käse...

A colleague and I decided to take a break from the office and spend our morning at Café KRONE and we never regretted that choice. This was hands down one of the best - if not the best - breakfast experience in Berlin so far! The staff was great and really made you feel welcome and - in combination with the great interior and the comfy furniture - you almost felt at home... You think the best parts have been told? Wait until you hear about the food. Just thinking about it makes me drool already. We had the "Swiss Alps" (scrambled eggs with cheese), the "Avocado Squash" (Brillant!) and "Tante Mali" (pancakes with berries) and they all were really good. Unfortunately, we were too stuffed to try their sandwiches as well but I will be back and try more for sure!

Nice place for a quiet but delicious weekday breakfast. I can only imagine what it's like on the weekends! Great service, even better food & specials, and good location. Couldn't ask for a better place to have a final breakfast in Berlin.

    Vegan- Hakuna Matata Sandwich
    Amira G.

I ordered the vegan "hakuna matata" oh...my...lanta... So good. This triple decker sandwich was stuffed with sweet potato hummus, lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes & a diced pickle, pepper mix. They also gave a side of beet chips. I put the chips inside my sandwich for an extra crunch. I also ordered a soja cappuccino. The barista was amazing! (Short, brick red hair w/ a tattoo on the side of her upper arm)The espresso was smooth and the foam was just right.

The food is delicious and the interior is nice. But it's overcrowded, you have to wait outside in the queue.

They have been closed for rennovations and just opened again recently, so I'm glad I got to stop by here while on vacation. The restaurant was pretty packed on a Saturday evening, but we were able to grab the other end of a long table to eat at. They currently don't have any menus in English, but the waitress was happy to explain dishes we couldn't understand. The menu is filled with some starters, tapas, burgers, and desserts. We decided to share a variety of items and got 3 tapas (fried chicken, pulled pork, and bao bun) and the triple cheeseburger with bacon. Out of the 3 tapas, I enjoyed the fried chicken the most. It was moist, fried nicely, and not oily. The coleslaw that accompanied it was also good. The pulled pork was also tasty, but I wasn't a huge fan of pairing it with humus. My least favorite was the bao bun. I thought the bun was way too thick...so thick I actually thought it was 2 buns stuck together. The pork however was cooked well and very tender. I enjoyed the triple cheeseburger with bacon. I liked how the burger came out medium rare on a sizzling pan. We left it on there a few minutes and enjoyed eating it medium-medium well. The bacon, guacamole, lettuce, and tomatoes were also on the side, so you can add as much or as little to your burger as you liked. It was definitely customizable! I washed my food down with a mojito, which was just okay. A little too much mint for my liking. I probably should have just ordered from their beer menu! Service was great, with our two waitresses being rather attentive throughout our meal. They happy gave C some paper and crayons/colored pens when he asked for them.

Coming back to food - you find things on the menu which you usually don't easily find in Berlin, such as southern fried chicken or corn fritters. We had the latter, which was great.

I had a nice ruben as well as some pan cakes that were delicious. We talked about free WiFi and people having out all day over a cup of coffee. I didn't think she minded those kind of customers, but people "stealing" the fee WiFi is not something Sarah is happy with. I totally agree. I was missing a bit of kraut on my Ruben - how typical. But the bread was great, so was the pastrami. Sarah promised to prepare the next one just like I like it. I even noticed some Mountain Dew in the fridge, but I resisted the soda high. Please check out that little gem in the Kiez and be delightfully surprised. I have not received any freebies or other compensation for this review.
