A busy cafe across the way from the Berlin Marriott. This is a great option if on the move because even though there's a lot of hustle and bustle here, the line moves quickly and they serve quite fast. There's an array of meat/cheese sandwiches, pastries and refrigerated items. And of course, a complete coffee menu. Turkey sandwich Crunchy and flaky thick bread, the Turkey blends well with a variety of veggies and cream cheese. A very well balanced sandwich. Prosciutto bagel sandwich Fresh everything bagel, tasty prosciutto but only one slice - could have used more. Chia pudding with fruit jam and almond slivers and coconut sprinkle - only slightly sweet so for you American palates, make sure you douse it with honey at the counter before you leave. Apricot croissant - Lemon filling in the inside with real fruit decorating the ends. Overall this deli gets you what you need and is quick and good. Can't wait to try their coffees too. That's all.

Nice coffee shop near the hotel. Went here to pick up some sandwiches and pastries to go. Prices are good and service was excellent! Lots of people are hanging around.

Quaint cafe serving classic drinks including americano and cappuccino. Great americano and the cappuccino was the smoothest I had in Berlin. Location is a little out there but if you're nearby and want coffee would come here.

Quaint little deli with a quiet outdoor seating area in front of the Marriot hotel's entrance. Their coffee is good but we didn't have a chance to try their sandwiches or pastries since they didn't have any gluten free options.

Chicken bagel sandwich and hot chocolate. Gnome for scale.

The pistachio croissants were amazing. Friendly staff. Good prices. A good place to get breakfast or a snack.

Kuchenkultur (Cake Culture) offers daily freshly made cakes…read more The cafe is set in the heart of Kreuzberg and can be reached by bus M19, 140, U1 Möckernbrücke or U6/U7 Mehringdamm. The interior is really fashionable and modern and the personnel is friendly. Also the toilets are as clean as it gets. On the service side, you can also receive help with the selection of the right piece of cake for your taste, which can be really helpful if you're undecided. The coffee and espresso specialties taste really well, as does the tea and the cakes are waiting to be discovered, but beware: one piece will be enough as they serve you really big pieces of cake - and that's kind of nice. Last time, I bought a whole cake for my mother's birthday and it was a success. I'm quite picky with cakes as I dislike them dry and dusty and Kuchenkultur has never disappointed me. These cakes are awesome. When you go visit the waterfall, be sure to check out Kuchenkultur an be surprised by their original creations.

The best cake that I ate in all of Berlin, and there is a lot of cake to eat here ;)…read more In other places the cakes may be industrially made, but here they are all fresh and baked on premises. Moreover, they are much more creative and beautiful than the majority of cakes that you will normally see in cafés. Wild berry chocolate cake... Mmmmm. I don't typically eat cake with my coffee, but this is the place to break your dietary sensibilities and simply enjoy high quality baked goods! The service was friendly and courteous, and the cafe itself beautiful and charming. Free water is in a jug for anyone to get. Everything that I expect from a cafe and more!
