Super fun, hidden restaurant. Fantastic service. Delicious menu. Bread and Hummus - 5/5 Salmon Dish - 4/5 Lamb Dish - 4/5 Apple Dessert - 5/5 The bread and hummus is very good, as well as the dessert. Both the salmon and lamb dishes were good. The service is great. The atmosphere is a lot of fun. Definitely a hidden spot.

    Welcome shots!

Came here at the recommendation of a friend and I'm glad she told me about this place because I never would have found it otherwise. I had managed to get a reservation for 2 at the bar a few days in advance. It seems they stayed booked here and I see why. The bartender was such a gracious host and brought us three rounds of welcome shots. Instead of doing the Dinner with Friends option, my coworker and I just ordered a la carte which came out much cheaper. We ordered the challah bread, Caesar salad, crispy cauliflower, and 'spresso beef. Every dish was a showstopper. The beef was falling apart it was so tender and the flavor of the cauliflower was amazing. The salad was crisp and delicious. The tahini dip with the warm challah bread was perfection. We were too full for dessert but that menu also looked fantastic. My only complaint is that it's tight for space in the restaurant. We were elbow to elbow at the bar which makes it a bit hard to eat comfortably, but the food was so so good you just make it work.

Night Kitchen offers an unforgettable dining experience in Berlin! We opted for the sharing concept menu where the kitchen selects dishes for you (dietary constraints are taken into account). The dishes were so delicious and diverse, and they did a great job of spacing out the meal so we could manage our fullness. We delightfully closed the night with shots with our waitress and bartender. :) A must visit when in Berlin!

Why only 3 stars? 1) The menu is completely overpriced given their location. With overpriced I am taking about the price you pay for the portion and the food itself. 4 pieces of cauliflower for 14€ are too much. 21€ for three small shrimps is also close to rip off 2) the service was ok but too annoying. Every 5 minutes they come to clean up the plate while you still have food in your mouth. Like as if they want you to leave ASAP 3) taste wise you'll be very lonely if you are a meat eater. If you enjoy vegetarian and vegan food the food is ok to good but not outstanding. The taste gets lost and not enjoyable if I look at the portion sizes and price. Nothing was really outstanding Wat was good: 1) Cauliflower was great but lacked in portion 2) the smoked carrots are tasty 3) the chefs roasted veggies are interesting What to skip: 1) 5€ for the bread 2) tomato capaccio are just sliced tomatoes on a plate for 9€ 3) 14€ for zucchini Burrata - I think the Burrata might be max. 30g in weight, smaller than a pouched egg. Not worth the price and taste. 4) grilled shrimps - 21€ for three small grilled shrimps. Nope Overall the food is ok. It lacked in flavor. It lacked in portion but was great in being pricey :D I wouldn't come again nor would I recommend this place. The taste is good and interesting enough for me to give maximum 3 stars which is more of a 2.5 stars

He found one in fact, that's so satisfactory, and even more fantastic that they have a Barrel Aged one for only €10. (this is easily $16 in San Francisco!) That didn't stop the crew from ordering multiple rounds of brewski, from IPAs to classic witbier or just ask the staff for the current specials and they can recommend something to your liking. Centrally located in Prenzlauer berg, this is a fun and relaxing place to hang out. The group was in a bitter sweet mood as it always goes on our last night in Berlin since we only see them twice a year. No doubt, I will be back to Salt n Bone. The warm waitstaff and barkeeps made us feel right at home. Regarding delicious beers, I ordered the Dunkel and my husband ordered a Pilsner. My Dunkel was delicious and STRONG.......I will leave this part for the end of the review. My husband enjoyed his pilsner. This is one of those places that is like a Keller type setting since you are a bit underground like in a grotto. You can easily visit with folks at the tables next to you if they seem open to it. We visited with an interesting couple from New Zealand and it just made the evening even more idyllic. We ordered the bavarian veal sausage with fresh pretzel and sweet mustard, the fraconian grilled sausages with homemade sauerkraut, and the black lentil salad with celery. When I say every single thing I ate was perfection......I mean it. It fulfilled my dreams of eating actual German food in Germany! I have already searched AI and Pinterest for a dupe of that salad. It was so refreshing and delicious with a nice vinegary bite to cut the richness of the sausages. The veal sausage was my favorite with the most amazing delicate flavor. Hey there, restaurant/brewhouse with the longest name ever......we will meet again. I think I might have been saying something similar as my husband sweetly guided my weaving self down the sidewalk after that strong Dunkel!

The restaurant is very small and quaint. It is definitely a spot for locals that we were fortunate enough to have been led to. It is the German equivalent of a tapas bar. After some deliberation, we turned the menus back over to our hostess (who I also believe was a co-owner of the restaurant) and simply asked if they would bring out a couple of each item on the sampler menu and a few of the five or six main entrées that we wanted to try. That begin about an hour of culinary experience not to be forgotten. There is no better way to experience German cuisine! Each of the menu items was wonderful and different and it's own unique way. We tried six or seven different types of sausage a variety of pickled vegetables, regional cheeses and other delicacies all served with a variety of great homemade bread. Although absolutely stuffed, we couldn't resist dessert, so we did the same thing, ordered one of each and shared everything. Portion sizes are small, as you would expect from a tapas bar, the the food quality was exceptional! The prices were reasonable and the environment was great.

One half has one of the most famous biergartens in the city. The other half hosts some sort of street food fair every weekend with a large changing array of food carts. We went for the African Food Festival. You only get BRLO beer if you go to the biergarten side. On the food fair side, you get a fixed drink vendor who sells a small selection of soft drinks and bottled beers. (But hey, don't knock German bottled beer.) * * * The location is 1/3 nice 2/3 not so nice. The biergarten is right near an enormous urban park. It is a more of a flat sports space than a dramatic forest, garden or lakeside. Berlin has lots of parks with the last three. But hey, flat parks are nice too. Over the whole lot runs one of the largest subways in the system. Nearby are all sorts of highways. So this is not the most sylvan tranquil location you can find for drinking beer outside. Either you really like BRLO beer, or you like the food carts at your particular food festival. * * * When we were there, the African Food Festival was not the greatest. The SHOPPING was fantastic. There was all sorts of colorful African wear to buy. I bought a spectacular bag from a Kenyan stand. The food was unfortunately on the meh side ... We tried food from multiple different vendors Including vendors for which there were long lines. Somehow the thrills were never there. I imagine if you go on a day with really good food trucks, Your experience will be different than ours. Rumor also has it - although I can not substantiate this That BRLO's own food on their side of the wall is pretty good. * * * I could be talked into going back and trying BRLO's own domestic side. But there are many spectacular biergartens in Berlin And many are known for their food as well as their beer. I imagine BRLO is a great thing if you live in the neighborhood. Otherwise save your trips to under the subway for weekends When you are particularly excited about the food festival de jour.

They have been closed for rennovations and just opened again recently, so I'm glad I got to stop by here while on vacation. The restaurant was pretty packed on a Saturday evening, but we were able to grab the other end of a long table to eat at. They currently don't have any menus in English, but the waitress was happy to explain dishes we couldn't understand. The menu is filled with some starters, tapas, burgers, and desserts. We decided to share a variety of items and got 3 tapas (fried chicken, pulled pork, and bao bun) and the triple cheeseburger with bacon. Out of the 3 tapas, I enjoyed the fried chicken the most. It was moist, fried nicely, and not oily. The coleslaw that accompanied it was also good. The pulled pork was also tasty, but I wasn't a huge fan of pairing it with humus. My least favorite was the bao bun. I thought the bun was way too thick...so thick I actually thought it was 2 buns stuck together. The pork however was cooked well and very tender. I enjoyed the triple cheeseburger with bacon. I liked how the burger came out medium rare on a sizzling pan. We left it on there a few minutes and enjoyed eating it medium-medium well. The bacon, guacamole, lettuce, and tomatoes were also on the side, so you can add as much or as little to your burger as you liked. It was definitely customizable! I washed my food down with a mojito, which was just okay. A little too much mint for my liking. I probably should have just ordered from their beer menu! The ingredients are very fresh and imported from Italy. We really enjoyed the signature monella pizza for 13€. You get a full mozzarella in the middle as the picture shows. And overall great tomato sauce and nice soft dough. Definitely worth a try What could be better: The salad was mediocre as the picture shows. For almost €10 we found that pretty disappointing also giving the portion we receive. The vegan pizza almost didn't really taste like a pizza. It is a creative way with sun-dried tomato and caramelized toppings with artichokes but it was not our kind of taste. It was also a bit too oily for our taste. Summary: Monella offers great authentic Italian Napolitano pizza. The ingredients are fresh the service is nice and you can't go wrong if you live close by. Compared to other Napolitano pizza spots in Berlin I would rate this to be good. We have had better Napoletana pizza in Berlin but this one is a solid one and definitely worth a visit. Note that during the weekends it can be pretty crowded so make sure to reserve a table.

After going around checking out the graffiti that is so popular around Berlin, took a break for some beers. Had a pretzel which was very good, though it's so strange that in most biergartens in Germany they only put salt on the bottom little part of the entire pretzel. I like so much salt I almost have to wipe some off. They said they'd give me some mustard and cheese, but then wanted to charge me for the cheese, so I just had mustard to help the flavor along. Also got some tea and the goulash. The goulash was amazing. I wish they had a large portion as a main. They only had a small cup as an appetizer. Shame. Anyway, it hit the spot, and the staff was very friendly, seemingly excited as hell to practice their English with us. Only fault - there was a steady stream of ants and I don't know where they were coming from - I think it might've been one of the menus they gave us. It's right in Potsdammer Plotz and seems like a German version of an Applebees but slightly higher end. Anyway, I'd go back for the goulash.
