We opted for the Dinner w Friends and drinks menu where the chef decides which meals will come out and unlimited beer/wine are included (for 75€ which is a great deal!). You have a 2 courses where multiple dishes will come out at once - a nice balance of appetizer and fish, meat and vegetable plates. All are shareable and very delicious. Everything was so flavorful! I especially loved their salmon ceviche which was more like a salmon poke, in a Bloody Mary sauce which was so unique and interesting! The sesame seed "bagel" with the pickled veg and tahini sauce were also phenomenal. Throughout our meal, our waiter would come by to check in on what we'd want to drink also while offering shots haha. Everything was fantastic but I'd say the only thing that was just okay was the dessert. They brought 2, one was a chocolate truffle dish and the other was some sort of "cake" made from sorghum flour topped with pistachios. The truffles were good but much too rich and the cake was a little bit of an interesting texture although fine flavor, but nothing that exciting. Otherwise it was a fabulous place to eat and I'd totally go back!

Like other reviews say this restaurant is tucked away in a cute little area with other local businesses and lots of foliage - beautiful. There were a lot of people and it was a bit loud, but you could tell everyone was just happy to be there and enjoying each others company. The service was great - we were even offered shots multiple time throughout our meal which was fun. But truly, the star was the food. We ordered the bagel, the burrata, the broccolini, the braised beef and the chicken thighs. My personal standouts were the broccolini and the chicken, but everything was truly amazing. The broccolini was plated on a skordalia sauce - which I had never heard of - but nearly licked off the plate. The chicken thighs though...are probably the best thing I've ever eaten. Unique, juicy, sweet, savory, creamy, umami, everything. I will dream about that dish until my next trip to Berlin, you just have to get it. Overall, Night Kitchen is definitely worth the hype and I highly recommend anyone considering it to (1) go and (2) make a reservation to secure your spot.

Love this place. Little Green Rabbit is a chain, but this one is quite inviting…read more I was in the area, looking for a place to eat for lunch when I saw this place. It was the green umbrellas and seating outdoors that called to me. Unfortunately, like other outdoor dining areas in Europe, smoking is allowed. I just knew I would have to deal with that if I wanted to sit outside. I already saw a few people smoking. When you walk into the restaurant, the menu is posted on the wall behind the counter. It's a casual environment. As the name suggests, the food is vegetarian. Posted on the menu are stuffed baked potatoes, soups, salads, and juices. Bottled drinks in a refrigerator to the side. Tall table seating indoors. The salads are either small or large. I ordered a small quinoa salad and grabbed a bottled pomegranate tea from the refrigerator. While the gentleman rung me up at the register, someone else put my salad together. All fresh ingredients in a bowl. Glad I decided on a small because large is way too much food. A rabbit can only eat so much in one sitting. My drink was good and salad delicious. I used the restroom before I left, which is on the right hand side, through the side door. Had to mention it because the ladies room is a tiny stall for one. Cashless, so don't forget to bring your credit card.

But, that's truly enough, as what they prepare is all very-very good. The way this restaurant is designed is that you walk inside, decide what you want from their menu, and you order it at the counter. No cash. Only card. Then, it is prepared very quickly. I mean, they really do a great job of preparing each dish very fast. In terms of seating, for their interior they have a couple of long group tables and some two person tables along their wall. Me, that's where I like to sit. They also have a large amount of outdoor tables. Most of these table have umbrellas, so it is a great place to sit if you want to enjoy the air. The one problem I have with sitting at their outdoor tables is the same problem I have with virtually all of the restaurants in Berlin, they allow to people to smoke at these tables. One would think, at a vegetarian restaurant, they would not allow smoking. But, I have even witnessed staff members taking a break and going out there for a smoke. This is just something to keep in mind. Normally, I too prefer to sit outside, but I hate to have my eating experience diminished by someone smoking next to me. Overall, this is one of my favorite restaurants in Berlin. The food is very good. They staff are all very nice. And, you walk away feeling as if you have actually done something very good for your body.

This place is off the hook. (As a certain food reviewer would say)…read more Vietnamese cuisine, no flavour enhancers and all vegan. I'm certainly not vegan but still really wanted to give this place a try. And it was well worth it. This place perfectly shows that you don't need animals to make good food. And I usually like my meat. I had "Dim Sum" (5,50€) as a starter and "Cha Ca" (9,50€), which is grilled seaweed filet filled with marinated organic tofu, as my main course. The food here is so rich in flavour I was truly surprised. The Dim Sum was very tasty and the dipping sauce it came with was so good I emptied that jar with a spoon. I had to try the seaweed filet because I had seen the many pictures of this dish online not knowing what it was back then but I knew I was going to try it once I'm here. It looks very black but isn't burned. It's so soft it melts in your mouth and tastes so good. I just loved it. The drinks here are pretty good as well. I had the Green Ice Tea (3,90€) and the Red Sensation (4,50€). Both of which where tasty and refreshing. The Green Ice Tea with its taste of lemon, ginger and mint was super refreshing. After a while it got kind of sour though. The Red Sensation was much sweeter and fruitier. Not sure about the fresh raspberrys. There where raspberry pieces in there but I had hoped for complete ones. Now to the service. They were really nice and direct which I think is a Berlin thing. But after I had my food they didn't come and check on me and I had to make myself heard to order another drink. But that's something I can forgive during main dinner time right after 6 o'clock. The location is very cute and small. They had the complete glass front open when I was there which was really nice on a warm summer day. And they had coolers inside to keep it from getting to warm. Kind of a waste of energy which I thought didn't fit in with the philosophy of the place.
