I don't have any complaints about the care that Dr. Hryniewicki provides, but his office is run as an uncaring money machine with zero care for a patient's well-being. They care about only one thing: profit. The office decided to switch their affiliation to a medical group not covered by my insurance. They were switching from one of the largest most respected medical groups in the area to one that is lesser known and more exclusive (I guess they only want patients with deeper pockets). That's their prerogative, but what really bothers me is that they duped me into staying with them to the last possible second until they could milk as much money as possible from me, and then left me high and dry when I really needed them. After checking with my insurance, I was told by Lynn in their office that I would still be covered after the switch. Then, about one week before the switch, I was in a car accident and suffering from a severe concussion, barely able to concentrate on the most basic information. I needed my doctor. But when I called, there was no recognition of the urgency, they said they couldn't get me in for another few weeks, and oh by the way, at that point we will have moved out of your insurance coverage, so we can't make you an appointment or help you in any way. You'll need to go find a new doctor. The complete opposite of what I had been told! And all of this was relayed to me in the most uncaring way possible, as if I was a nuisance to them. Fast-forward four months, I have by this time found a doctor's office that actually cares about me, and I start getting daily harassing phone calls from Dr. H's office about an appointment I supposedly have and "since you changed your insurance" we need to talk to you. Of course, I didn't change my insurance, they changed affiliations. And if I had an appointment, it should have been canceled months ago when this issue first came up. Never have they cared so much about speaking with me than when I was taking up an appointment space that they wanted to offer to someone who could make them more money. I guess if you have coverage for their office, feel free to go, but just beware. Someday you might find that you're not worth enough to them, and they treat you like garbage as they kick you to the curb. read more

One of the best physicians I've had the opportunity to have as a patient. His office staff is friendly and efficient. Dr. H. Is thorough in his time with patient, answering questions and giving pertinent information. I have never felt rushed in my appointments and sense a genuine care that Dr. H. has for his patients. read more

My wife and I are patients of Dr. Hryniewicki for about 20 years. He is a great Doctor, very attentive, takes time to listen, makes proper diagnosis. I had few situations which I could not asses level of urgency myself, he had seen me without an appointment, immediately identified problem and suggested course of actions. Doctor Hryniewicki always calls me to discuss lab or other test results, always returning my calls within 24 hours, most of the time same day. When I am visiting any medical facility and mentioning that my PCP Dr. Hryniewicki, everyone knows him and very positively comment about. I never had any problem with the Front Desk, everyone very polite, take all possible effort to accommodate and resolve any problem, help to provide information. I'm strongly recommend Dr. Hryniewicki to everyone. read more

My experience with Dr. Thomas Hryniewicki has been nothing short of amazing! He's been my doctor for about 15 years now. A better doctor has yet to be found in my opinion. If I call with a question, he will return my call, even if it's well after hours. If I have a concern, he'll see to it that I get an appointment with him. He's an incredible diagnostician. I understand that he is an incredibly busy doctor, so I'm willing to wait for a wellness appointment with him. If I do see a RNP, who are very good at what they do, I know he's reviewing the chart and approving procedures, tests, etc. In fact, if I have a choice of an RNP performing an uncomfortable procedure or Dr. H, I'll wait for Doctor. He's more gentle than the RNPs! He's busy because he IS INDEED THAT GOOD of a doctor. Case in point, my mom was an RN for over 40 years. When she moved out of state she flew back to CA to have him treat her! As patients we need to understand that emergencies and appointments take precedent over a sniffle. In my opinion, you'd be hard pressed to find a better doctor than Dr. Hryniewicki. read more

Dr. H is one of the best. Very professional, personable and a great diagnostician. I have been his patient since he first started because a nurse highly recommended him, saying all her nurse friends also went to him. Yes, you need to schedule your regular checkups far ahead but the office was quite accommodating when I had to keep postponing my last one I had made six months earlier. And sometimes the nurse practitioner is the only last minute choice for professional care, but all the medical staff are good and will take excellent care of you. Plus, I really like the new computerized system where you can quickly communicate with the doctor and staff about results and concerns. read more

Whenever I have tried to make an appointment to see him he is never available and I ask for the next appointment and it will always be at least a month out. You can never get in to see him. I have never met him in the 2 years I have been his patient. I have spoken with him once on the phone and he is pleasant but I can never get an appointment to see him in person. I end up seeing the nurse practitioners instead which are probably some of the hardest working due to people never being able to see Dr. Hryniewicki. read more

Dr. Hryniewicki has been very attentive and I have always been treated like I was his only patient. He understands my needs and is extremely knowledgeable and informative when we meet. I highly recommend him as a primary care doctor if you are in need of one. He also treats my wife and son and none of us have ever had a problem with him. read more

I love Dr. Hryniewicki, he's very knowledgable and gets back to you right away. I just don't like how his office is ran..it takes forever for a phone call to be answered. Or they break for lunch from 12-2 and we can't talk to anyone in the office unless it's before or after that time. But I work and the only time I can call is during my lunch hour. It think the staff's lunch hours should be spread out so that someone is always answering the phone during those times. And not their answering service. Other than that..they are pretty nice, though I think sometimes it would be nice for them to do a better job on follow up exams. I usually have to call them on that and I'm use to getting reminders. read more

Since my last review I have noticed an improvement in his staff. I agree with some of the reviewers that Dr. Hryniewicki is one of the best doctors you can ever find. I was seeing Dr. H for more than 10 years. He is a good doctor. However, he is unavailable if you need to see him for conditions requiring prompt action. His nurse practitioner made 3 wrong diagnosis. The last time, I was suffering from an diagnosed pneumonia. Luckily, I found an excellent pulmonary (lung) specialist who literarily saved my life. If you are young and healthy, Dr. H could be fine. Otherwise, try to find a doctor, who can accept an appointment within one week, IF YOU NEED to be SEEN by a doctor urgently. While he will call you back at home if you leave a message with the answering service, there can be times, where your condition requires a visit to the doctor. Phone consultation is not always effective. read more
