I was at Dick's in the early morning on a Saturday. The employees were all friendly and the store…read morewas very clean. The walkways are spacious, clean, and well lit. The merch is well organized and there's a large variety. The store sells exercise equipment, clothing and shoes, plus lots of gear for any sport or regime. I like the sales they have on thick socks in the winter as they have really good socks. I do wish they had more cotton clothing though, I don't like exercising in polyester ick. You can absorb microplastic that way even. The lack of sustainable and healthier clothing made me remove a star. Overall it's a very nice store with great parking and right by the food court.

Not a fan of this location since they had a re-opening Aug 15-17th and I did visit this location…read moreduring that time. Not sure I understand what the re-opening was for the store was over the top on staff, sound - so freaking LOUD and everything was over the top visually. It was gross. When I asked a staff member where they kept their women's Bombas socks - preferably the three package ones - I literally, was given the run around. We paced around the stop needlessly as it was clear she didn't know where to send me after reaching out to a colleague on her phone system. WEIRD. When I finally found myself around the shoe area looking for the Bombas, I had some glimmer of hope when a sales guy approached me asking if I was the one seeking Bombas and he got me to what I wanted. Not sure why this store (as well as others) spread out the Bombas pickings why not keep them in one spot but it is what it is. I miss the old Polaris store. This new Dick's House of Sport is just too weird. Yes, I'm an athlete and appreciate helping community members and putting forth a new in-store experience I suppose I was looking for something different. Decent back up store to my Easton if anything is needed just be aware of the new layout and experience. Just ok.

These BOOTS will break your ankle just PUTTING YOUT FOOT IN!…read more Show up. Say I just need boots for skiing at Matt River Mountain. Looks like a guy 28 and above takes me over to size my foot. Largest foot is 27.5 cm right to the edge of my toe so they assume that type of boot is gonna fit me. The days of REAR ENTRY boots that are easy to pull it on in easy to get off. I've gone on the way to the dinosaur in these DIABLO RACING BOOTS, are quite impossible to get your foot in without breaking your ankle. Especially when they're two sizes too small and make your FEET go NUMB, and the blood freezes in your foot in the boot. I was lucky to get my feet out of the boot much less follow them over the next 10 minutes, even though I barely even clamped them down. Someone needs to teach these kids sizing over again and basically the problem is the boots are horrifically uncomfortable. Maybe they're pliable when they're in the 90° showroom where you sweat in your ski clothes and you should just show up in a T-shirt like the teenagers, but when you get them out of your car and drive all the way to the ski hill and it's freezing out there they don't flex as easily as they do in the showroom. I brought them back and told him of this horrific experience that almost broke both my ankles, they didn't give me a credit. They didn't do anything except for Marc me and tell me I was pretty much stupid for not pulling the tongue out harder and twisting it to the side, which they failed to show me upfront in the showroom how to do it. Not a good experience. Not impressed. Waiting for a phone call to get rid of this one star we'll see if they even addressed it. It looks like they haven't addressed any of the other ones to get them off of Yelp. If you don't want a broken ankle, I wouldn't let them rent you Diablo boots

Although no English person would ever say a sh** ton. Except that I just did. Lots of hot stuff in here at the Columbus Polaris Mall, but it's expensive unless you catch it in a sale. The prices are the main reason I can't give it a higher rating, cuz they do have some really sexy stuff in here.

I bought a pair of shorts but they still have original tags on them. I bought them just before COVID-19 and didn't have receipt since I bought them 3-4 months ago. I then wait 25 mins in line. There were two guys working and one was mindlessly wondering around the store. He eventually said he could help me at register. He said he couldn't order the shorts online since they didn't have my size but his coworker could. I made it very clear that I wanted to evenly exchange them and he said it would be no problem. He asked me to get back in line and wait for his coworker so I did. 10 mins later his coworker helped me and said since I didn't have a receipt then I couldn't do an even exchange for the same exact shorts but in a bigger size. They had awful attitudes and were very rude. They told me I would have be pay full price. I asked him if that made sense and he said it did and it wasn't his fault I didn't have a receipt. Will never go here again. Horrible organization and customer service.
