I reached out to Jay's Heating and Cooling this morning and within 10 minutes they reached out. I explained what was going on and they dispatched a tech in less than 90 minutes. Dave came out and went right to work investigating the system, what we had, and the way it was setup. 15-20 minutes later he had it all figured out and was on his way. He also explained a few things to help us manage the house temps, air flow and what type of filter we had along with how often to change it out. Extremely helpful and friendly. This is what you look for in finding service. They got our business going from this day forward. Couldn't be happier.

I am in the industry (Though not a licensed repair technician) and my initial troubleshooting was right on track (per Brad) but he found the actual issue pretty quickly, all while explaining some of the nuances here in NC to me and things that are different than back home (tips to keep things running smooth and lower house humidity.) - the issue turned out to be a pretty simple one, and the price for the service call was VERY reasonable. Being in the industry (on the commercial side) I've seen some things and BP's pricing was more than fair. Would absolutely call again if and when I have the need.

They found the issue and proposed a repair option along with new unit options. Given the repeated issues we had with our Lennox unit, we opted for a new Trane unit. They were able to get the new unit and installed it the same day! Their entire team from diagnosis to install were extremely professional, courteous and did a professional installation. My go to HVAC guy is not around any longer so I went researching for a new go to so I could have my…read moresystem checked in regard to a known issue as well as get a preventative maintenance check before the heat hits. I called late Friday afternoon and received an appointment for 10AM Monday. The tech arrived just a few minutes after 10 so no problem there. I went out and described my initial concern and then stated that I wanted a general check as well for both units. He worked my primary concern first and identifed the issue quickly and even took a video to show me what was going on. He quoted me the price for that repair and I was expecting it to be another day or so but he left to get the part and fixed it today! After making that repair he checked the rest of the system and that one is good to go. He then proceeded to check the second unit and also checked the comonenets under the house and in the attic and found an issue with the equipment under the house and photoed that and those issues were relatively small so he fixed those on the spot as well. I feel the pricing was fair for the amount of work that was done and the fact that he did everything today and we are now comfortable. I really like how the teck (Caleb) took pictures and explained everything as he came across it and was efficient in what he did. This will now by my go to HVAC service! Not sure how far they cover outside of Wake Forest, but if you are in Wake Forest I highly recommend!

So I got one more, Holm Heating and Cooling. First, Doug is a straight shooter and tells you what you need and what you don't need based on data that he collects from air flow, etc... I had several companies try and sell me on new duct work, Doug simply pointed out that who ever did the original install of the ductwork did a poor job and just needed to be adjusted some. He represents and sells reputable products, versus products I never even heard of before. He is very professional, registers your product and just a good guy. He's not the cheapest, but he's not the most expensive but I found him to be the best value... and would highly recommend him and his service.
