During the service, the technician removed the blade and the assembly broke immediately. I was told afterward that the part was "brittle" and that I would need to pay for the replacement. What was disappointing is that the wiper was working perfectly fine before I brought it in for service and only failed during removal. I've been going to Mavis for years, which is why this experience was especially frustrating. While I understand older parts can be fragile, I feel there should have been better communication upfront about the risk or more accountability for what happened during the service. Given that the wiper was fully functional before the service and failed immediately during removal, I expected some responsibility or goodwill adjustment from the shop. Because of this experience, I do not plan on returning to this location. I hope future customers are made aware when parts may be at risk during service so expectations are clearer. Review update After speaking with the team, Mavis agreed to replace the rear wiper arm assembly at no cost, and I truly appreciate them making the situation right. I've been a longtime customer, so it meant a lot that they listened to my concerns and worked with me toward a fair resolution. The water was dirty when I mopped my floor a week later. For context, I have a tiny dog whose paws get wiped on entry. I don't wear shoes in the home, and I work out of town and am out most of the day on the days I'm home, so there is not a lot of foot traffic in the home. I'm unsure if the home didn't get the attention needed because of their busy schedule or because it stressed her, but attention to detail is critical in the cleaning business. If proper attention can't be given to a home, it's better to reschedule than leave the job somewhat undone.

I have the email right in front of me. Two days ago when I called him about the status of my money he said that he couldn't talk to them for me because he didn't have POA for me. WHAT DID I GIVE HIM IN JUNE?!?!?!?! Apparently, my issues or account are of no real concern to him. A direct quote from his website: "Unlike some tax preparers, we are open year round, ready to assist our clients with whatever issues may arise. We strive for a personal touch in our business, offering face to face meetings and consultations. Our goal is to make sure our client understands how income taxes and accounting methods affect their personal and business life." His total lack of interest into my tax issue shows me that he has no real concern as to how my personal life has been affected. I have received no updates, no emails, no phone calls, not one thing from him. I am the one always calling him to check the status. If he really cared he would be finishing the job that I payed him to do.
