Unfortunately, I turned out to be the worst-case scenario. Because of the amount of stones and sludge, some had migrated. A few months later, I began experiencing cramping and pain on my right side. I underwent two CT scans--one with contrast and one without--and both suggested possible cancer. I contacted Dr. Zhubi's office and met with him, and he immediately reassured me. With complete confidence, he told me he did not believe it was cancer and encouraged me not to panic. A laparoscopic biopsy confirmed he was right: no cancer. He proved the other doctors wrong. I now have an abdominal hernia, but once again, Dr. Zhubi has been supportive and positive. He has encouraged me in my weight loss efforts, patiently answered all my questions about hernia symptoms, and discussed the possibility of a panniculectomy. He and his staff have been wonderful throughout this entire experience--especially understanding and supportive of my anxiety. I've said many times that I wish this office could train other general medical practices on how to treat and support patients with genuine kindness, communication, and compassion.

I got scanned, plus a portal accesded result with lots of 4 and 5 syllable medical words. It is a good thing I was in the 90th percentile of reading comprehension. I own the next part. I imagined I read I had a follow up. I saw that in some communication. You know, scan, results, follow up. I arrived for the follow up - on year early!
