Two months later i finally have my second appointment bc Mary Frazee got sick or something so they had to reschedule my appointment whatever. Since my first appointment to this one ive gained 15lbs at 22 weeks pregnant (which ive heard from others is very normal) also for me personally i gain weight very very easily so i was surprised it was only 15lbs but the doctor, Mary Frazee, walked into the room and said that ive gained too much weight, i need to lay off all that sugar and soda and start eating your veggies and salads more often. that this is not healthy for you and kept going on and on about it. I called the emergency line for this office bc i threw up very unexpectedly and its not normal for me to throw up even since ive gotten pregnant i havent had any sickness. i live alone so i was panicking more bc i felt like i was going to pass out but i ended up throwing up and being fine and the doctor that i talked to from the office said its normal and just to watch out for some things. So at the appointment the doctor, Mary Frazee walks into the room and after calling me fat pretty much shes like you also called my assistant in the middle of the night thats very rude of you and throwing up is normal your pregnant. i also lift, push, pull very heavy and am constantly bending over at work and ive been getting faint and dizzy at work, i had to pretty much beg her for a note for work and even for that she didnt want to. So in a total of 2 appointments with Mary Frazee she has dismissed me, called me fat and rude and almost wouldnt let me get a doctors note for work. she made me feel judged, ashamed, stupid and she had little to no lack of empathy for me. I will definitely be finding a new doctor asap now.

I didn't wait very long. From there, I sat with the doctor's assistant, also named Emily. She was very thorough and efficient at her job. She also listened to my concern about taking blood pressure before and after my visit as a personal preference. I appreciated her for this. Dr. Schlecht herself was a very friendly doctor and she also listened to me as well about my needs and she also provided patient education where I might've had this information about mammograms versus MRIs and what they pick up. I appreciate her patience and her kind bedside manner. When I was done, I met Gail who is the in-house phlebotomist representing Sonora Quest and she was very kind had such a great personality and she made my visit very fun. Enjoyable. You can tell she's a caring and compassionate woman and they're lucky to have her in the office as well. Finally, when it was time to check out, I was again impressed with Emily, the receptionist for giving me preparation; a slip of paper explaining that they even have in-house ultrasound and that a woman named Jill causes insurance the Monday or Tuesday before hand to verify coverage and to get pre-authorization and I just think that this practice has their stuff together. My birth control has been effecting my mood and mental health which is why I wanted to change it but it feels like this office is doing everything to stop me from getting it taken out. My first appointment for a new birth control was back in January. I still have not got what I wanted and I'm at the point of finding a new doctor's office completely. It should not take 4+ months to change out someone's birth control who has completed decided on that decision. I would save your time scheduling here, they'll probably just cancel on you anyway.
