Dr. Mohamad Lazkani is a highly gifted and qualified surgeon. My recent TAVR heart valve replacement surgery was an overwhelming concept o grasp and accept, being a 78 year old asymptomatic functioning woman. After much testing and a highly informative consultation with Dr. Lazkani I agreed to do the surgery ... the operation was 2 weeks ago; no complications and I'm on the road to recovery. Thank you Dr. Lazkani for saving me and extending my lifespan. Your hands have been touched by GOD.. I thank you for sharing your gift. Ronnie Turbane read more

Office staff is friendly fast and good, their phone AI for appointments and scheduling is annoying and keeps calling when you hang up on it. Not friendly to the employed that cannot turn off their phone. I received four calls in a minute span that I ended. Then another two calls a few hours later. read more

I want to shout out Dr. Ramy Doss, MD Cardiology at https://phoenixheart.com/ I went in nervous and scared but he put me at ease. He spent so much time with Me and my husband going over everything and explaining everything to us, no Dr has ever taken the time to communicate in such a heartwarming way. He talks to you like a person, not a number, and will assist us in our journey to better health. read more

My dr that I had used in the past no longer works in this office. I still called to schedule an appointment and explained my situation and concern. I had recently visited the emergency room and would need to be omitted and stay over night for the following day to get an echocardiogram. I had work the next day and was discharged at 1am and did not want to stay over night or miss out on making money. Kind of a catch 22 because I want to take care of myself but I also need to make money and don't want my work knowing about my health. Again I have had pericarditis in the past and hospitalized for a few days. I'm having the same issue and worse pain than before. I simply need to get an echocardiogram. It's been 3 years since I've had this problem. I guess after 3 years you're considered a new patient and they have to start the process all over. Doesn't really make sense to me and seems like it's no longer about the patient. Seems like a way to have more office visits and make more money off my insurance and ultimately myself. $$$$$$ Sure make an appointment and do an ekg and echo in the same day. Not sure what the problem is as I've had 3 echos and it goes pretty quick as does a 12 lead ekg. I've been coming here for almost 10 years. I can tell you that the patient care has declined over the years and I'm currently looking into finding a new cardiologist. Highly recommend going somewhere else because there's a high possibility you're going to be dissatisfied with their level of customer service and patient care. Most of the good Dr's have left and have been replaced with robots who just treat you as a number. Doesn't go for all of the staff and doctors but overall I'm disappointed in being a loyal patient and not being treated better. For anyone reading this I wish you the best and hope you get the care you deserve. read more

What an experience. I have never in my 62 years seen anything run like this office. To say the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. I could tell you all the difficulties I had trying to get a stress test done. It went from the IV in my arm to not having the right orders to do the test. I then was rescheduled and then told because of health reasons the test should be done at the hospital. Next told to come to office and have the test done even know I've been told it's to dangerous to be done there. Finally I decided this was not the fit for me. Be careful, they are dealing with your heart ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍ read more

Dr. Dixon is a remarkable doctor and human being. The one staff member named Julie at the Goodyear location is a kind, genuine and personable human being as well. I cannot on good conscience recommend this place or praise them. On my last appointment date, I showed up on time...but doctor Gomes didn't get to me until an hour after my scheduled appointment time, so basically she was late to my appointment. Today I went in for an appointment, arriving 15 minutes late because I thought my appointment was at 845 when it was actually at 830.... Should have been no problem right because they expect me to wait an hour for some appointments.... But no, they can't wait 15 minutes for me, they need to reschedule me. It's sad that because we need doctors, that they don't have to be held accountable for making us wait, but when we're late, we're absolutely held accountable by having to reschedule! Very disappointed there's no mutual respect for time in this office and will be seeking a different provider. read more

REVIEW FOR THE SCOTTSDALE LOCATION 10293 N 92nd St Suite 100, Scottsdale, AZ 8525. For less impact on the heart, find another practice. I would have liked to get into this practice. However, I called over 6 times after my doctor consistently sent over the referral for the past 7 days. When you call the number, it takes you to a voicemail ( which I left over 5 times a message asking to get in), and they don't call you back. The voicemail says they will reach back to you the following business day but they never do. After over a week with no response, I was so upset I tried hard to get into see a cardiologist after an emergency event but they dont call you back even after multiple referrals? They seem to not care about patients' health. The doctor may, but don't bother DRIVING TO THE OFFICE EITHER BECAUSE THEY DON'T ANSWER PHONE CALLS; you won't get to see the doctors. I went in today, and a lady at the front desk ( not happy look with gray hair and smug face) decided to diss me and not give any ounce of care when I asked why no one would call me back. When I told them multiple referrals were sent and that it was unprofessional not to call back heart patients to get into to see a doctor, they didn't care and, with no emotion at all, said the wait time was 1 month. Move on and save your heart. I feel bad for patients that have to experience this. read more

Edit to add: as of this morning they cancelled my appointment due to a "scheduling conflict". I've had this appointment for months. It would seem they don't like their patients to 1. be honest and 2. leave a review outside of Google where they can hide it of they don't like what you have to say. Guess reviews and money are more important than your health. Ended up getting covid and asked for a recommendation for a cough medicine because my head felt like it was going to explode and the meds THEY prescribed me were coming up with an interaction no matter what I selected. They had no interest in helping me, likely because it's not billable and told me to take it up with my PCP. Well, I don't have a PCP and even if I did, they are not the ones that prescribed the medication in question, you are. This comes after the doctor couldn't be bothered to see me for my follow up and I had to see her NP without anyone even asking or telling me ahead of time. My thyroid is also severely under treated as seen by labs and they even admit my symptoms could be attributed to that, but won't treat my thyroid and instead recommend I keep going under treated for several more months until I can see ANOTHER specialist. I picked Dr. Gomes because of her background that included Endocrinology. Clearly that doesn't matter. AND the new medical assistant that took my blood pressure at the cuff around my elbow and he wondered why my BP was high? Well, now you know. Never give a review based on your first visit. How they care for you later will show you what's really up. read more

Phoenix Heart has knowledgeable doctors and nurses. Their staff is also knowledgeable and proficient. It is easy to fill out forms on line and to check in for appointments. Patients are seen very soon after arriving for their scheduled appointments. Looking around in the waiting room confirms that there are not large numbers of people waiting to see their health care provider. This is not a typical doctor's office. read more

Dr Selberg has been our cardiologist for 16yrs. She's extremely knowledgeable and explains what is happening and why certain procedures are necessary. I have had the honor of having Dr. Rajul Patel MD for at least 6+ years, He is the BEST!. He immediately found out what the problem with my heart was and immediately got me on the medication I needed. I have been to the Glendale Office and Goodyear Office. It is always a pleasure to see both the office staff. If you have any questions from the doctor or staff, rest assured, you will get answers. They have cancelled 3 appointments on me in the last month and a half. I take the time to schedule, work it in to my life and a week later they cancel. No excuse for this many cancels. Then I get a call from scheduler and she says "doctor Kutcher wants you to be seen by electrophysiologist". I ask why and she can't answer just says that's what he wants. I believe if a doctor is worried and wants to get another consult I should be called and explained why, ITS MY HEALTH. Anyways I scheduled an appointment, still have never been updated by the doctor and within 3 days they call and say SCHEDULING CONFLICT APPOINTMENT CANCELLED please reschedule. It's really upsetting to hear that a patient had DIED from a SIMPLE procedure. The lack of patient care is disgusting.

I've waited in their lobby for hours over several visits because the doctors were late or running behind. Today I was 10 minutes late due to my car not starting and they cancelled my appointment. The lobby only had two other patients. Pretty sure they could've squeezed me in still. read more

Phoenix Heart is amazing. Dr. Selberg saved my husbands life. She is caring, smart and we trust her with our families lives.

Dr. S. Kahn saved my life in June 2009. He performed a heart cath on me at Banner Thunderbird hospital..shortly after he started he discovered I had a widow maker with 3 major blockages stents would never have worked..a widow maker is somewhat rare in a female but it does happen.. I was only 57 years old and didnot have a heart attack, but was overweight and a heavy smoker and had some chest pain and heart palpations...I had to have a triple bypass the next morning and stayed many days in the CVICU because of my poor lung capacity...I pulled through..quit smoking, never had another cigarette, lost over 30 lbs. eat a healty diet and swim laps...I have had perfect lab work, a normal stress test and echo for 10 years...The man is brilliant...but you the patient must help yourself as well...I recommend Phoenix Heart and Dr. Kahn...Marci W. read more

My son was referred by our primary care physician to see a cardiologist. Very concerned, I called Phoenix Heart. Let me tell you, from the beginning, I was impressed with their service! I highly recommend Dr. Depak Jana. He takes a lot of time and is very thorough with his exam. But more than that, he called my son later that night and again over the weekend to see how he was doing. What doctor does that these days?! He had my son come in Monday morning *without an appt., to do more tests. (We only waited 15 min in the waiting room) Dr. Jana is a very caring, competent, quick witted and sweet man. If you are in need of cardiac care, call Phoenix Heart and make an appointment with Dr. Jana. You will feel at ease, and be in great hands. Highly recommend! read more

This review is only for one doctor only - Dr. Patel. As a retired nurse I understand the pressures these guys are under but to totally ignore a patient on two occasions is Unconscionable. To date after several phone calls this man has not bothered to call and let me know my diagnosis or plan of action. This is wrong. When he was in the room he spend 2 minutes there and walked out without a clue to what to do. I will never put myself through that again. I'm flying to Texas to see a Dr instead who I swear by. If you don't expect much Dr Patel is your man. read more

Dr.Banna and Dr. Ram are great! I would recommend their expertise to anyone. My mother had a complicated case. All medical facilities are on the pharmaceutical payroll and should be shut down including this one. Not one instruction for tests has been accurate; not one time have they been on time. From fast for 3 hours prior, to did you bring a fatty snack? (We were told snack & fast for 4 hours)...just an example of incompetence... The staff is beyond puppet-like and if they are loading you up with a pill; then apparently they haven't done their job This place is a machine designed only for generating money, pill popping addicts & employing incompetent robots. This office is a huge cooperate business. There are so many providers and tons of front office staff. I was initially scheduled for the beginning of march and my appointment was canceled via text. No big deal, I understand that stuff comes up and providers need to cancel appointments sometimes. I was eventually seen in the beginning of April. I needed to schedule 4 more appointments, 3 were for testing, and 1 for the follow-up. It's May 2nd and they have canceled and rescheduled 3 of these appointments. If you're looking to get anything done urgently, this is not the place to go. They cancel very frequently and with no explanation. I just kept telling myself, it's all good, just be patient so you can get the tests taken care of, but when I got the cancelation text this morning, I was done. The provider I saw was nice enough, but I can't give a full opinion since I only saw her once. The front office staff were very chatty with each other while I was trying to schedule my appointments, so that was a bit rude. Lastly, trying to reschedule is a nightmare because you have to wait on hold for a very long time and their availability is booked super far out, so if you schedule, plan on your appointment being canceled anyway. read more
