That being said the staff was ready, patient, organized and kept everyone who was waiting at ease. The same is true once I got in to be evaluated. The nurse who set my IV (I'm sorry I forgot your name I was in a bad way) was amazing. She was finishing the tail end of a long and busy shift, but had such a great attitude and disposition it put myself, and everyone else she help in a better state of mind. Shout out to the CT technician, I don't think you can be better or more efficient at your job. And that goes for everyone else in working the ED. Upstairs staff: Dr. Kruti P. Shah took authentic interest in my situation every day, really taking the time to get to know me and my lifestyle to bulk-up/supplemet her treatment plan. So empathetic and multifaceted it was almost like having two doctors for the price of one. I can verify first hand that she gets to the point and would never play mind games with your health. My day nurse Sandie used her amazing bedside manner and her experience/expertise in the nursing field to anticipate my needs so consistently it felt like she could read my thoughts. Her close partnership with Dr Shah came through it made me take note of how much they care. It's nice to see such a close partnership in such a large facility. The biggest compliment I can give them both is the lesson I took away in doctor/nurse/patient trust. I will never forget how the trust we had will be impossible to recreate in the future. Thank you both for being so kind, compassionate and understanding during my time of pain. I will never forget it. ED staff: you are heroes and the heart of this facility. Thank you.

Many, many years ago this office was run like a well oiled machine. Over time and seeing management…read more& staff turnover, not so much. Dr Ballecer was my Doc and without a doubt thee best Doctor ever. So good in fact, in time it became near impossible to get in for a quick appointment for small issues because she was that good and worth the long wait time. (Also she went to half days some time before for a beautiful reason and patients were not notified.) So what do you do when you have a cold & just need a quick script order or referral? Well you get that issue resolved with the NP right? Even if the NP is not a perfect fit, we don't bug the Doc for something so small right? At one point I had a poignant exchange with the office manager a couple years back, trying to get it explained to me WHO EXACTLY IS my Doctor since I could not get in any time before 6 months to see Dr B. He said "heaven forbiddd you got cancer, of course we would find time in her schedule for you if something serous like thattt happened ." No words for that one, he was so condescending. But I did think that meant she was still my Doc no matter what, right? No. Who knew that taking those openings means the NP becomes your provider!! Let me explain. Recently I called with a bigger issue and now wanted to talk with my awesome & caring Doctor Ballecer and was wiling to wait as longggg as it took for an arrival time. Lo and behold as I try to make this booking, I hear, IT HAS BEEN SO LONG SINCE I SEEN HER THAT I AM NO LONGER HER PATIENT. And she is no longer taking patients to boot. What?! My eyes teared up. Oh and by the way she continues, your provider, the NP you have been so kind to see to keep Dr B freed up, is NO LONGER WITH US. You will have to chose another one or wait for Dr B to have an opening for a new patient. Really? I have lost the NP I never wanted to see in the first place too?? Now I am suppose to address my bigger issue with a stranger I have never met in this office. Now that we were on a role /s I thought it prudent to ask... now wait, my daughter has not seen her Doctor in awhile, at this same office, has she lost her Doctor too??? Oh no, HE IS NO LONGER WITH US EITHER and you will have to choose another provider for her too. Is it not important to notify patients of these major changes? What if something awful would have happened and I found out we were both Doctor-less or Provider-less then??!! The clerk then proceeded to inform me along these lines... "We are happy you and your child are healthy but you have to do your part and book well checks to maintain the relationship" LOL But you don't have to tell me in this relationship that the Doctors don't even work there anymore? Call me ignorant for not knowing you can get dropped for not being sick or "not touching base" I'll take that, but I am smart enough to know, this is NOT the definition of a relationship. Quite a few of the other staff that became less and less recognizable with high turnover too. Can't say I was sad when the nurse whom greeted me in a room with "whats up girlfriend?" was never seen again. High turnover and less and less personable office staff was growing to be an irritant for a long while but I dealt with it, knowing, I had my awesome Doctor Ballacer in my pocket... to find out that I don't, and my kids Doc is gone too, gives me absolutely no reason to stay with this office. So many years wasted here. Should have left when that conversation with the office manager, noted above, happened. This is suppose to be a Doctor's office right? It seems more of an office with Doctors. That seems to be becoming the standard these days. Be that the case, the offices better step up and realize there is other options. No, no I don't have to choose new providers here. It is my choice now to take my issue and insurance and co-pays and deductibles to a stranger-provider-Doctor elsewhere. Did I also mention they don't do actual appointments? No, they do arrival times. That has made for many colorful exchanges over the years by frustrated people in the waiting room who have to get back to work. Dr Ballecer, you will be missed. Good luck and many blessing in all your life! Call me if you change Doctor offices. I would follow you in a heartbeat to a great office.

At HonorHealth, Williams was a fair doctor, listened, seemed to care, no real bedside manner though. After the move, even worse. He didn't listen to either of us, often had to ask what was in our medical files (um, why don't YOU look, since you're the doctor), and usually wanted to rush us out. Often we'd have to say, yes, there's more we came here for. Doesn't seem a very good doc anymore.

STAY AWAY!!!!!!! Unfortunately, I started going to Village…read moremedical because my doctor of over 11 years, whom I adore, started working for them. They were great in the beginning, but then something went wrong. They NEVER return calls and only phone number is answered by a call center in India. There's only one number to reach them. I called for an urgent appointment and spoke to a man. He asked me for reason I wanted to see my Doctor. I told him it was a personal urgent female matter. He kept pressing me for a reason. I told him that I wanted to speak to a medical professional and not a call center. He told me that if I didn't tell him what the personal female matter was he would not put me through and could only leave a message. (Like he was ever planning to put me through!) A perfect stranger at a call center demanded personal medical information before HE made a healthcare decision for me! You could tell by the sound of his voice that he was enjoying this. I was in severe pain and at my wits end. I asked him for the soonest appointment and he CHUCKLED (yes! he CHUCKLED!) and said sure, The soonest we have is September 25! This was the beginning of July! I couldn't take it anymore so I hung up. I felt powerless, humiliated and in pain. When I called back a couple of days later I was told that I could get a video appointment with my doctor the beginning of August so I jumped on it. The call was scheduled at 11:40 AM. No one had called me by noon so I called the office. The nurse informed me that she was just about to call me and wanted intake information. I gave her the info and she said he was running late but he would be right with me. I waited on the line for over an hour. I finally got to talk to him at 1:10 PM. This company's negligence has caused me a great deal of physical and psychological pain. My physical pain and symptoms kept increasing & now it's too late! I visited ER twice and I am looking at surgery next week This would've all been prevented if I would've Gotten a chance to speak to my doctor or his staff. This is inexcusable behavior. It is not the doctors fault. It's Village medical's fault. They are owned by Walgreens and are really struggling financially. They're trying to sell these clinics off. There is a substantial language and cultural difference between the US & India but never took this under consideration, just saving money. the calls are answered by both men and women. Most of the time when I call I get man. It is Very hard to understand the people at the call center. If you call and ask a question they will put you on hold and tell you that they will call the office. When they come back on the line they give you an answer that had nothing to do with your original question. When I informed him of that he said he really didn't understand my question and would leave a message. Never got a call back. This could have been avoided if I would've just been given access to speak to my doctor or one of his nurses. It's all about the money here. It's not about the patients. I know I'm not the only one this has happened to. Check their reviews on Yelp, & Instagram. They are HURTING people!!!!! Shame on you Village Medical!
