I was quoted one price and was then informed that I needed something else with a different price when the installers came out.the price went up $1200 when the installers came out to inspect prior to the project getting started. I explained what I wanted when I spoke with the rep and was quoted something else. The company does not attempt to hear customers out. Their response is "page 6 of the contract you signed." It's pointless to speak with them about anything. I should have went with another company after waiting for almost two hours for someone to get back with me the day of my install but I was tired of looking for someone to do my fence. The fence was supposed to be out in the found but thy did not happen and there is still space at the bottom. I wanted to update my review since Peta, escalation manager reached out to me to try to rectify the situation. Peta sent me a gift basket and submitted a refund of $600 with the hopes that I will take my review down. I informed her that thanks for that but I will not take my review down. On the contrary, a day after speaking and receiving text messages from Peta. I noticed that cats were getting in my backyard and was wondering how. I went to my backyard only to find two pieces of my fence missing. I reached out to Peta via text and still have not received a response. My fence was completed on 7/16. How could it already get broken. This is insane to me when I was informed the wood is sturdy.

This has been an ongoing issue, and I decided to have the damaged sections replaced instead of repaired. David was prompt to look over the fence and provided me with a fair and reasonable estimate. A week later, David and his crew came to replace the damaged fence, and I could not be any happier with his work. The delay in this review was due to my neighbors being away on vacation, and I was waiting for their reaction to the fence. My neighbor was as pleased with the work as I am, and we cannot thank Mega Fence enough.

Ultimately, we went with Mega Fence for their availability to start sooner than another company we had in line. I will say the company is best with wood fencing and not so much in working with iron. There are things that left us dissatisfied: ~Timing of the project was not clearly communicated ~Materials/products used were not as we specified ~Workmanship left flaws, scratches and a dent on Iron and uneven finishes to the work In all, David did agree to reduce cost due to the outcome, making our out-of-pocket fixes less of a burden.

I had a gate built. I put a new latch in the contract and…read morethey did not have the correct one upon arrival. I had to make a run and pick one up. I was only compensated for the cost of the latch. Zero compensation for my time and gas taking care of something Top Rail Fence was supposed to do per our contract. They Split/Ripped boards instead of just gapping them a little bit as to not have to Rip any boards. The difference between "Good" & "Great" is just that much. Gate looks pretty good functions well, the ripped boards bother my eyes every time I see it. Lets see how well it holds up. I will update post if needed.
