One is a vintage wool car coat (shorter than the usual length of a coat) from Eileen Fisher, something I bought about 35 years ago. Another is a dark dark purpleish 3/4 length coat, with great sentimental value. So I was hesitant to turn these over and take a chance. However, I can say without reservation that Elite Cleaners II did an excellent job! The colors look more vibrant, esp. the Eileen Fisher coat, which is a dark teal. And that they use a "wet" method and not chemicals was a plus. The items were ready one week later. Yes, you can expect to pay more for their service, although I don't know if the $53.00 for two coats would be standard or not. At any rate, to my mind, it was well worth it. Now my coats are ready for the next winter in Ann Arbor!

Very disappointed in the lack of apology for stringing us along for over a week on a job they promised but could not actually come through on. We could have taken them somewhere else to be altered in that time frame. Frustrating. We'll go elsewhere for our dry cleaning and alterations.

Customer service is very friendly and they do on-time, quality work. Story time - 1. I had a friend accidentally spill all over an old Pendleton blanket that's very special to me. It was passed to me from my dad (who passed away years ago) and the pattern is no longer produced. Stadium Cleaners did an amazing job getting it back to pristine, which was a huge relief! 2. I got my wedding dress cleaned here! It had a pretty large train so this was not a simple undertaking and this was of course a special item to me. I was happy with their work on this one. Believe this was $185 which I thought was really reasonable for the amount of fabric in this dress especially. 3. Otherwise, I usually will do my coats here (especially my puffy winter coats that seem to absorb stains throughout the season), delicate sweaters (though more often than not I keep trying to just put those through my washing machine - one day I'll learn my lesson...), and a specialty jacket I wear for hospital volunteering. I can no longer afford to bring my dry cleaning to them regularly. One work blouse and two pairs of work slacks cost $27.10 to dry clean, with a turnaround time of 5-6 business days. The owner is extremely combative. Based on my personal experience, make sure to NEVER bring the items you care about to this place. If they damage it, they will not take any responsbility for it WHILE being degrading, slanderous, and simply just a bully. The owner never thought to apologize even once, instead, he yelled, screamed, and complained about going to them for responsibility for damaged goods.
