I have been using Campus Laundry for about 4 months now and it has made my life so much better. I am a professional so not having to worry about laundry, has improved my quality of life. Importantly I trust them with my clothes including delicates - I leave instructions and they follow them on what can't be dried. The service is also superb - 24 hour turn around! I love it. This is my second year in Ann Arbor and first with Campus Laundry On Wheels. I used Busybodies last year -- I don't have anything negative to say about them and, absent Campus Laundry, would have renewed this year. That being said, Campus Laundry does exist and is clearly the superior of the two. First off, the one day turn around is unbelievable and 100% true. I usually have my laundry picked up at 9PM on Sunday and dropped off at 9PM on Monday. Second, the fact you can communicate via text makes the whole experience far more convenient. They give you one free batch so try it out before deciding. Can't recommend more! read more

I used this company twice in 2016 while I was in grad school. My friend prepaid for 8 uses, but after the second time, multiple items of clothing came back shrunken, stretched, or stained. They shrunk a cashmere sweater, ruined multiple peasant shirts (somehow they stretched out the elastic on them or got them to warp at the seams), stained a pair of pants, and ruined my favorite bra (the lace on it shrunk so much that it made the whole thing super lumpy). I tried contacting them multiple times (phone and text), and they didn't return my call until I left an angry voicemail. In this call they started by saying they followed my instructions to the letter (because I'm a woman and women are pickier about their clothing) but then told me that they tumble dried my clothes so that they could get them back to me in a day--despite me leaving specific instructions to NOT do this. They never contacted me with questions or concerns. They just did the laundry as fast as they could, not bothering to follow the instructions that were written exactly as specified. They never refunded my friend for the 6 unused washes, and they never compensated me for the clothes they ruined. I didn't leave a review on Yelp back then, but there's been an update to the situation. I left a review on Google about 2 years ago. 2 months ago, they replied to it and said that they did not shrink my clothes (even after telling me they put them in the dryer) and that I didn't understand the laundry system. They have multiple reviews on Google talking about their unprofessionalism, their disorganization, their bad communication (I would have preferred late laundry over ruined clothes), and the way they obviously ignore wash and dry instructions. Maybe they've gotten better at laundry care since I've used them, but their lack of professionalism is still present since the only communication I've had about their mistake in 2 years was them telling me I was wrong on a very old review. read more

Been using this service for the last 2 years and they are definitely the best on campus. Very fast and provide same day drop-offs. The clothes come folded, and the quality of washing is unmatchable. If you are thinking about using a laundry service, DO NOT use this one! Use Busy Body's instead!!! The business owner is rude and inflexible. Not only does he waste tons of plastic each week, but your clothes come back wrinkled and oddly folded in three. I have lost over 15 pairs of socks and they have stained a nice shirt of mine as well because apparently, they do not separate your darks and lights. I requested simple instructions like hanging dry some of my delicate items - something they claim to accept on their website - but they have been completely rude each time. I have received texts saying "Is that a demand or request?" when I asked to have my laundry at a certain time - something they claim differentiates them from other services! Additionally, there has been many instances where I texted them and they did not reply, which is completely unprofessional. Save your clothes and yourself and NEVER USE THIS SERVICE! read more

I can see how this would be convenient for an average college student needing their laundry done. Initially, I thought Campus Laundry on Wheels did a good job. Picked up the laundry promptly and returned it neatly folded the next day. Later I found random socks that weren't mine mixed in with my laundry and discovered my new skirt was missing. I contacted them and was told they'd look for it and would ask their customers. They still never found it and said they would refund my money. Well, it's almost 3 months later, and I never received a refund nor heard from them again. I recommend using their services if you don't care about your clothes, but if you don't want to lose important items then find another solution. read more

Unfortunately, today I received a text message from this company harassing me about leaving a bad review that ended with "I hope you believe in karma". This is unprofessional and disturbing- how long are they going to harass me via text now for no longer using their service? They ruined important garments, gave me someone else's underwear, and had disorganized and unprofessional customer service practices. Again, I strongly advise avoiding this company. read more

They are always timely with pick up and delivery, they send friendly reminders each month with optionality on pick up and drop off... often able to turn around same day service upon request. I had laundry picked up and I took delivery of my cleaned folded clothes the next day. Their text-based communication is great. Very friendly driver. Easy payment via PayPal. My only concern is that I weighed my laundry as 4 lbs less than they did so I may have been overcharged. read more

If you do not use this service, YOU NEED IT IN YOUR LIFE! Campus Laundry On Wheels is the best laundry service I have ever used. Hands down Adam and his team are the best in town! I had a big order 372 lbs of dirty laundry. When Adam told me he could have it washed, folded and delivered in twenty four hours, I had my doubts. Sure as the sun rises, Adam showed up on time with all 372 lbs of laundry, washed folded and smelling fresh. As an educated consumer I shopped around first, NO ONE could beat Adam's prices, delivery timeframe, or his customer service. I love Campus Laundry! I can't recommend them enough. Adam is extremely communicative and punctual. Pick-ups and drop-offs are incredibly well-coordinated and timely. They pay attention to all my custom hand-written instructions on how to treat my clothing ("tumble dry low", "machine wash cold", "do not tumble dry", etc). The quality of washing is superb. Never experienced shrinkage or fading. They definitely know what they're doing. The payment process is super-smooth and all communication is done through texting which is so convenient. Prices are also extremely reasonable. If you're a busy person that can't bother to deal with laundry, this company is your best bet. Don't think twice. read more

I gave them a large load of laundry, and asked to be certain that I am guaranteed to receive all of my belongings back. The answer was "we have been doing this for 10 years sir." I noticed that after going though my laundry I could not find my favorite Michigan tank top. I specifically remember putting the tank in my laundry after the Michigan UNLV football game. I contacted them and they were extremely rude making it seem like it was impossible for them to have made a mistake. I triple checked my laundry and everywhere in my room and could not find it. We agreed that we would part respectfully and that I would not be paying. Within the next week I receive an invoice from them for $20, which was the difference between the initial invoice and the cost of my shirt. I never agreed to this. I explained that I shouldn't have to pay for a service who loses my belongings. I said that I would be contacting them if my tank ever shows up, and will pay and full and include a tip for any confusion. Their response was that it is very said that I think that way. What customer would want to pay for a service who has lost one of their belongings? Bottom line, if you notice a piece of clothing missing don't expect them to own up to it. I am shocked at how rude they were. My recommendation is to not give a load of laundry that has piled up for more than a couple weeks. However, I will say that they do neatly and punctually return your laundry. read more

Very unprofessional. Most promises about pickup and return dates are unkept--especially the 24 hour turnaround that they claim sets them apart. The guy gets really confused about when he is supposed to pickup--my clothes were left on the porch overnight! The next day there were many confused texts and he didn't pick up the phone when I called. There was no money back, in fact he overcharged. It's no wonder he only takes venmo and paypal--no credit cards. You can do much better in town. read more
