I'm new to ordering from DoorDash and picking up my order from a business that also houses other food businesses so, when I saw the option to order sushi from DoorDash, I wasn't really open to the idea. However, one of my friends frequently orders from this business and recommended it to me several times. I finally took him up on it and ordered two rolls, miso soup and edamame. I will say the ordering was easy, the pick up was even easier and the food was delightful. After placing your order, you'll receive a text and notification when your order is ready. You'll pull up to the address and ring the doorbell. Show them your order and viola! Easy peasy. I don't think I'd order the edamame or miso soup again because I can easily make these at home but it was good to try from somewhere new. Especially somewhere walking distance from my place. This place was well worth the Scheduled a 5:00 delivery via DoorDash to arrive right after a school event, and the rolls were made on time for pickup. Special Roll: The torched sauce on the special roll was delicious. I can eat a torched roll any day of the week! Spider Roll: This thing was massive! Honestly, it was almost too big. Though I guess in the world of sushi, how can that be a bad thing? Flavor: Fresh and high quality. Personally, I can never get enough sauce so I would have loved a little more than arrived, but the flavors were still spot on. Tip: Rolls are packaged together to keep everything secure during transport. Each roll is neatly labeled- they thought of everything! Wow. Everything I've received was amazing. The presentation was also very pretty. We ordered Baked salmon roll, deep fried Philadelphia roll, chefs special #1 roll, stuffed jalapeños, and we've also received cucumber salad (on the house). The service was also great. We ordered ahead online and the owner/chef was also kind enough to message us about how long the wait would be and when it was the perfect time to pick up the order. This ghost kitchen was one of best fast sushi spots that I have had in a while. There was really nice labeling on everything. Tempura was extremely good and fresh. I love eggplant and we got one piece. The others were carrot, shrimp, broccoli, and maybe a potato? We ordered three hand rolls and they were all delicious and made to order. The sunomono, cucumber salad, was our free item. It was very simple, just vinegary, could be better. The staff was very quick and friendly. It was easy to order online and pick it up. My favorite sushi place hands down. Fish is fresh and delicious my favorite rolls are the torched rolls it has such a unique flavor that I haven't had at any other sushi restaurant! I ordered delivery and got the vegetable spring rolls, the J's Special roll, and the deep fried Philadelphia roll. I did not enjoy the deep fried roll, as the cream cheese was just not working with the deep fried roll, and I did not like how it turned out after air frying a bit later to crisp up the edges since it was a bit soggy when I got it. The green dragon sushi with brown sauce glaze, crab and shrimp tempura are wonderful. Service was quick and attentive as the young gentleman is very kind and brought out my order after I ringed the bell. I love this place. I order from here at least twice per month on Door Dash. It's the only sushi place I've ever found with so many gluten free options. I can even get gluten free shrimp and veggie tempura, tempura onion rings, stuffed cream cheese/krab jalapenos, flamed rolls, hot potato roll, and the deep fried tornado roll are some of my favorites. I made an online order to be picked up (no seating) and when I arrived I was met with a nice gentleman who handed me my order and gave me a free drink because it was my first time ordering with them!!!! You order online, then (should you choose to pick it up), drive to the location, and press the doorbell button corresponding to the poster of the restaurant you ordered from. They bring it out to you when it's ready (I chatted a bit with the How We Roll owner as he brought out my food; he was really nice). We ordered a bunch of rolls and sashimi, and everything was delicious. Totally forgot to get photos (sorry). But the salmon nigiri was absolutely melt-in-your-mouth divine (this was my fave), the "build your own" roll option is such a unique concept, the fried gyoza was so cronchygood, the baked salmon roll was really tasty, and everything else we ordered was super. Everything tasted fresh, packaging was minimal, and savings are passed on to the consumer due to not having to supply waitstaff and seating. I'll definitely be back. read more

I usually get the Yellowtail donburi and a basic maki as I tend to not like heavily sauced rolls. I would say the fish and rice is on par with Ju Hachi and better than Mikuni which I think is quite good for a ghost kitchen that has just begun business! They cut the individual pieces of the sushi rolls on the smaller side which I really appreciate because it makes it easier to eat. The also didn't saturate everything in mayo which some places do, which was really nice. Flavors were spot on and we inhaled all four rolls lol.
