Monica confirmed both of my insurance would pay and I did not have co-pay with the secondary. I went to see the doctor and come out for Victoria to then tell me I cannot leave without paying the co-pay. She said "no you do not have a co-pay, you have a co-insurance." I said "so I don't have to pay anything." Victoria said "Yes you do. You both have to pay." I went a head and paid leaving very upset. I went my second appointment yesterday, and Monica called me two hours before my appointment because she waited until then to get my EOB, which upset me because if there were any issue, I would have a cancelation fee that would be their fault. I told her that was what the old doctor did and why I changed when she assured me they are not that way. I went to the doctor anyways. I get their and Monica breaks an argument about how I should pay even though my secondary does, and how she can charge me whatever she wants. I am crying and wanting to die while in the waiting room dealing with her and she never apologized ever in any of the incidents. She has excuses. I asked to talk to her manager. She said I could talk to the doctor. I asked if he could come out and she said no, you have to complain during your appointment. If you cannot discuss your medical problem during it that is not my problem. I go in and the doctor says he has it handled and Monica told him the whole story. He said "don't worry. You don't have to deal with Monica anymore. I will make sure you only deal with Victoria." I got treatment and started to leave when Victoria then said I had to pay the full cost of the appointment, $120, in order to leave. We got in the same argument about I am double insured and that Monica said my insurance is paying. I go talk to the doctor again asking if he gets lots of complaints on them. She said, "No. You are different. They treat you different." I asked, "really? you are telling me no one else is treated like this?" He said, "Yes. You are different. They treat you different." I asked why, he said, "You are special. You are different." FYI that difference is that I have 4 disabilities and some are obvious. He and staff know about them as it is in the paperwork I had to do before my first appointment.
All his 5 stars are fake. I called my insurance that confirmed both were paying him and he should not be charging me. My insurance is pressing a lawsuite against him for fraud. She said it is fraud to bill both the patient and insurance for the same price/cost of each visit. read more
