Dr Freeman is a rockstar! I'm totally serious! I had something in my cheek. It kept growing bigger & bigger. I had dental work done at my regular dentist and I assumed the bump or mass or whatever was in my cheek must have been a small piece of a tooth that could have happened when they were drilling. I went to three yes that's correct THREE different dentists & oral surgeons and they did every kind of X-Ray that exists in the Houston and surrounding area. I finally got a referral to see Dr. Freeman. He didn't know what it was either but he said he wanted to go in and see what it was going on. His staff is super efficient, friendly, and on top of things! The surgery was done in Methodist Katy. Dr. Freeman was running late so I spent a lot of time in the hospital room waiting but that is the best hospital I have ever been to and unfortunately I have been to a lot of hospitals. The nurses continued to check on me every 10-15 minutes to make sure I was comfortable. And I was so comfortable there that I didn't mind the wait. Actually I enjoyed it. So after the surgery he said things went great and the mass in my cheek was the size of his fist. It had actually broken into two pieces and he was able to get both pieces out.! he sent a sample for biopsy, luckily everything was fine. But I feel so blessed to have found his office in, especially him! My face drooped after this after he removed the mass but he assured me my skin would go back to normal and it has! It amazes me that nobody else thought to go in and just see what it was! We still don't even know what it was. I just know the Dr. Freeman was the perfect person to handle that situation. He can handle pretty much anything.! Dr. Freeman is excellent and a gem! I am seeing him again because I want a vampire face lift and his before, and after pictures are pretty great! His office staff is super quick to respond to messages and requests. I highly recommend him and hope y'all like him as much as I do!! read more

I have been to Dr. Freeman's office for a consultation in March 2018. I paid my consultation fee which they said will be refunded to me if my insurance covers it. I called my insurance, they said it would be covered once a claim was filed. I called Dr. Freeman's office to make sure they'll file the claim. It took them almost 5 months or so to just submit the claim to Cigna. And even after they did, and Cigna covered it, they did not refund me back. I called them for the refund like 7 or 8 times already. The people in the billing department won't speak to me on the phone anymore. They send my number straight to voicemail. And last time I called, the receptionist said she was "told" to tell me they mailed the check 2 days ago, which was a lie because they said the same thing when I called them 2 weeks before that day. This dental clinic is the worst! They just want money and their customer service sucks! I told them I'll give them 1 more week to receive my check and if I do not get it by then I was going to speak to my lawyer to take a legal action. Only then did they actually refund me my money. I finally received my check today - 9 months later! In short, find another clinic! read more

This office is here to make money. Big deal, you say? Who isn't in business to make money? Sure, but don't make it SO CLEAR to your patients that you're here to reel them in and churn them out for a buck. My issue, to be fair, is mostly with the office staff. One woman in particular. Because in the 2.5 hours I was here, I only spent 5 minutes with the doctor. Dr. Freeman was very nice, and friendly, and I have no doubts as to his expertise. I'm sure he's busy, but it's clear this place is more about making money than taking care of the customer. I haven't had such bad customer service in a really, really long time. I'm getting off the phone with the front desk woman and I'm literally shaking. She was so condescending and continuously talked over me and spoke to me as if I were an idiot. I can't even say it's her word choice that was rude. It's her tone, her attitude, her poorly veiled impatience and disdain. I won't go into the details of the story, but the entire time I was calmly trying to explain to the woman (in person that day of my appointment, then on the phone today over the bill) why I was upset as a customer, she kept talking over me and saying "what do you want me to do. This is your bill." Basically, "are you going to pay it or not?" For an office that makes thousands off its customers, you should hire someone with a little more class and customer service skills. I'm sure she was as frustrated with me as I was with her, but overall, this was the worst experience I've ever had with any service. Dr. Freeman, for the 5 minutes I was able to speak to him was nice, but basically unless you have top of the line insurance of are willing to write a blank check to them, DO NOT come here. They don't explain what you'll be paying for until your appointment is over and you're hit with a bill. I waited an hour and half to see the doctor, saw him for 5 minutes, then waited an HOUR after the 5 minute consultation before they let us out of the room to have us pay. I will be contacting my dentist who recommended this doctor to HIGHLY recommend he NOT recommend this oral surgeon moving forward. I came here prepared to pay thousands for 4 wisdom teeth extraction and somehow am being nickle and dimed for $18 left on my remaining $170 bill for an xray and 5 minute consultation which was basically "yeah you should totally get all four wisdom teeth out and pay $2400 for it". I made another appointment with Dr. David Day on Bellaire and got a wisdom teeth remove. He gave me a free consultation (not $170 for 5 minutes), free xray, and great, honest service. He told me I only need TWO of my teeth extracted, not 4, and worked with me to understand what I needed to pay BEFORE doing the surgery. He said, "if you were my daughter, I'd tell you not to take your bottom wisdom teeth out. There's no need." Thank goodness there are honest, caring doctors out there. Just finished having 2 wisdom teeth removed from this office. In the original consult, Dr. Freeman made it seem like they were so bad, abscesses waiting to happen and impacted terribly. Even though I didn't have insurance I went ahead with the surgery. $1500 out of pocket. I waited 2 hours past my appointment to be called. I paid for the IV sedation he claimed I needed, yet I was awake and cried through the majority of it. Dr. Freeman did not speak to me prior to or after the surgery, just up and left. I told his staff I didn't need the mouthwash they prescribe as I already had it, they sent it anyways. I told them I can take tylenol 4 for pain due to issues with other meds...so they sent in Tramadol which is completely worthless. So now I'm stuck with no pain meds, double mouthwash and out a chunk of money. This has been by far the worst experience and I would never recommend them. read more

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Freeman himself. His caring demeanor and level of professionalism was outstanding. His chair side assistant was awesome and very personable. I do however have to say I was unimpressed with his front office/manager. She was very dry and un welcoming. The fact that I had to wait over 3 hours to verify insurance for a procudure that took all of 5 minutes was ridiculous. I had to pay myself just to get the show on the road. I would suggest to make the customers experience better to verify insurance prior to their visit. Other than that the office is beautiful and I was very pleased with Dr. Freeman and would suggest him for for an oral surgery needs. read more

I have had several procedures done at Dr. Freeman's Office and every time the staff has been nothing less than exceptional. All the nurses and assistants are always friendly and welcoming. Dr. Freeman always answered all my questions regarding my procedures and I couldn't be happier with the result of them today. But by far the best thing they did for me was fight with my insurance for 12 months of back and forth call and emails and eventually my insurance payed the cost of the procedure in full. I am currently a patient of Dr. Freeman, I was referred to him thanks to a friend , I had to get my wisdom theeth removed and I had heard many scary stories of people waking up or having pain during surgery for my experience it was amazing I went ahead and called the office , for my surprise they told me I could go ahead and make a consultation and follow up with my surgery the same day , I thought it was great , the sooner the better. the entire experience from start to finish was great , their office was so relaxing and beautiful . ! Dr freeman team are extremely professional and polite woman they make sure to make you feel welcome and comfortable from the moment you walk in , to follow up care and scheduling appointments. These ladies helped me a lot with a smile and very nicely to help me in anyway they could. I was very nervous about the surgery but when I had my consultation with Dr Freeman he told me all the steps and what to expect from surgery , I felt more confident and educated after and I decided to go ahead with the surgery the same day . they were also so nice to call and verify my insurance, I thought the waiting time was going to be longer but it was faster than I thought. His staff prepared me for the surgery , they had also explained me what to do and not to do before surgery, his assistants were so nice very friendly and relaxing , they also explained everything that was going on , then Dr freeman walked into the room to start the surgery , I have to say I'm always afraid of needles but I didn't even knew the IV was in , not pain at all , the last thing I remember was the assistant administrating the laughing gas ,then I was awake and they told me I was done , it felt like it was a heartbeat , no pain at all quick and efficient , I was so satisfied with the procedure . Dr Freeman is probably one of the worst doctors I have ever been to. The receptionist upfront is very rude and unfriendly. I went to go see Dr Freeman for bone grafting and during the procedure I woke up during surgery while they had a mallet in my mouth while awake I tried to tell them that my jaw was in a lot of pain and they just pushed my hands down to my side and put me back to sleep. When I woke up after surgery the doctors and the nurses neglected to tell my parents I had woken up during the surgery and when my dad called about it Dr Freeman played it off like it was no big deal and that the surgery was a success. Every appointment with Freeman always felt rushed as if he wanted to just move on to the next patient. After the first surgery I decided to get the rest of my bone grafting done with a different doctor Dr Metz who is very kind, informative and always puts his patients first. After getting surgery here I now how a fear of waking up during surgery whenever I go under. The only good thing about this place were the nurses who worked here they very kind and made me feel comfortable. read more

He took out my daughters 4 impacted wisdom teeth and did a great job! He is a very talented oral surgeon. She barely had any swelling and no bruising. It was amazing! She did keep ice on her face which he highly suggested and she complied. I would highly recommend him if you need oral surgery! I would check your Explanation of Benefits if you go through insurance. I had a credit and I had to call to get a refund. Most other Drs I have been to automatically refund when you have a credit. I'm sure if I owed him I would have gotten a bill! Lol read more

Advise: Do NOT paid until your insurance processed the claim! I had a bad experience dealing with the insurance charges. I paid at front and when my insurance processed the claim, it took me 4 months of weekly calls for they to understand that I paid out of my packet more than the charges and that they have contract rates with the insurance. The only person that deals with you is Fauzy, the front desk woman, and she never returned my calls when she was suppose to call me back with information. She was never willing to make a 3-line with the insurance to be able to explain to her that they were overcharging me and I needed money in return. When finally she understood and I went to pick up a handwritten check, she didn't even had the courtesy to apologies for the long period of waiting. read more

Worst experience ever! The receptionist can't tell you what day of the week it is. The "office manager" literally will tell you whatever you want to hear to "make" you happy but it's all lies. She says "yes" to whatever you ask. I got an appointment for whatever day and time I wanted...sounds great BUT so does everyone else. They were suppose to call me with an amount for surgery. Never did. I called and was told she would call me back...FOUR times before I got a dollar amount. We arrived thirty minutes early for our appointment. An hour after our scheduled time I asked what the hold up was and was immediately taken to a back room...where we sat for another hour. I actually heard the doctor giving a consult and an elective cosmetic procedure in the room next door...my daughter hadn't eaten in 24 hours and was there to get her wisdom teeth removed. I think the optional procedure to make her look younger could have waited. After waiting 2 1/2 hours I was about to walk out she went back for surgery. It took 15 minutes. We NEVER saw the doctor. No one called after to check on her...ever. We didn't go to the follow up visit bc at this point it's clear this place is a joke...no follow up call. But wait...we did get a call three weeks later to remind us of our appointment...to get her wisdom teeth removed. They didn't even know they had already done it!!! I have no clue if the doctor is any good but his support staff make themselves and him look like complete idiots. RUN! read more

I was assaulted. It resulted in basically a broken cheekbone. Maxillary sinus fracture and displacement, orbital fracture, possible orbital floor blowout, and partial tripod fracture were all terms used while being diagnosed. After a horrific initial assessment and an explanation of a surgery that when described was almost medieval, I sought a second opinion. I am so grateful that I found Dr. Freeman! I was referred by Houston Methodist, a hospital with an excellent reputation, and Dr. Freeman is a prime example why.  Dr. Freeman not only understood the nature of my injury, he also had a thorough understanding of, and ample experience with, the proper surgical techniques needed. He paid very close attention to detail. He even took extra time explaining to me why the other hospital and surgeon had some confusion in my diagnosis. Dr. Freeman and his staff listened and understood the urgency of time with my injury. He was complete in his explanation of the technique he would use and why. He possesses an excellent bedside manner. After the initial consultation I had no qualms and I knew I had found the right surgeon. His staff went above and beyond the call of duty.  They were accurate, courteous, intelligent, and accommodating in every way possible. They even helped guide us through some of the confusing insurance procedures.  My surgery was smooth and perfect. My face looks great! Recovery is going as planned. I can't even tell that I have a titanium plate in my face. I give Dr. Freeman and his staff my highest recommendations and compliments. read more

Came for a same day consult and surgery. Gave insurance info weeks prior and was not told that they were out of network. Coordinated based on schedule and arranging for other kids care. After two hours were told our cost. They apologized for their lack of explaining but were unwilling to make any accommodations. Felt completely snowed and taken advantage of. Scammers!!! I went to this office for a consultation on 11/2011, I called before hand and asked if there was a consultation fee. The young man who answered the phone (an intern) told me no. After I was done I was told I had to pay $105. I told the lady at the front that the young man told me there was no consultation fee. She told me she was sorry he was misinformed and would take care of it. A few weeks later I received a bill and called her back. She again told me she would take care of it. It was put on my credit report back in 2011, I called her back & it was removed from my credit report. It has not been on there for the last 4 years and this week it just reappeared. I called the office and they were incredibly rude, pretty much told me... oh well to bad. I sent Mr. Freeman an email asking for his help with this bill & he pretty much had the same response. He told me the inter thought my insurance would cover it but they didn't. There are plenty of doctors that do free consultations and I would have went to one of them if they were upfront with me. I will continue to fight this charge with my credit report since his employees are not properly informed. read more
