Beware! I came in and had my exam and was told I owed a co pay. I had chemotherapy and radiation and had not only met my deductible I had paid my total maximum per year. I told her that and she was rude and said well if they don't pay you owe it. Then I get a bill for almost $400! I called and she said the referral was expired and it's your responsibility. I don't work there or know that. Had I known I would've got it prior. I understand it's my responsibility but I don't work in that field I didn't know I had to check if they did their job. Wow! I've been bringing my son to Clear Dermatology for quite some time now, and although they have improved his issue, I learned today that they don't really care about patients. We arrived this morning for his appointment, and there was absolutely no one else in the waiting room. We were 15 minutes late, because I thought the appointment was for 8:30AM, so I thought we were 15 minutes early. In spite of the fact that there was no one there waiting to be seen, and that his medication can't be refilled until he is seen, and he needed a refill, they adhered to the letter of the law in their policy, that if you are 10 minutes late you have to reschedule, and he won't be able to be seen for 2 weeks. That's 2 weeks without his medication. The ONLY way they would do that is if they literally don't actually care about their patients. I'm very disappointed with the inflexibility in this situation; 5 minutes beyond their acceptable grace, with no other patients waiting to be seen. read more

Each time they have removed a suspicious mole the lab work has come back "abnormal " so they are definitely catching the risky ones. Thieves, Scammers, and Liars... I have been coming here since 2018. After a long time I went in for a CONSULTATION over some small bumps on my skin. Dr.Lacey came in for a total of 5 minutes informing me what these bumps could be and treatment options. With no communication or consent she applied a light spritz of "liquid nitrogen" on a small bump near my mouth and then quickly escorted me out. I was at the front desk when they hit me with a bill of $260 + $700 billed to my insurance. I asked for an itemized receipt and they told me it would be ready by the end of the week. I called a total of 3 times throughout the week having to force them into sending me my itemized receipt. One week later no sign of change on my bump treatment. I call and one of the people at the front desk tells me that Dr.Lacey informed me that "it might need multiple sessions and she went light because it was on my face" I swear she never told me she was applying treatment, the cost of the treatment, let alone that "it might take multiple sessions". What a lie and so money hungry it's disgusting. read more

Dr. Pham is the best! I came in with a severe eczema flair up. It basically covered everywhere from my jawline to my chest. I was so uncomfortable, it kept me from sleeping at night. And I was so embarrassed for anyone to even see my skin. Dr. Pham was kind, patient, gentle, knowledgeable, and empathetic. He prescribed creams that worked like a charm. I'm finally able to sleep again. Then a couple days after my appt, he followed up with a call to make sure that I was doing okay and didn't have any questions. Scheduling was easy via their website. Got an appoint just a few days away. The office communicates well. I got mail, texts, phone calls prior to my appointment. I was seen on time (during my lunch break) and was back in my office in a timely way. Dr. Pham performed a skin procedure on my first visit as a new patient. He is excellent. The staff is friendly and caring. The office is modern and pleasant, plus easy access and parking. They gave me two little Healing Ointments for my biopsy site after I mentioned that I had nothing at home for this purpose. LOL, I should have also asked for a few spot bandages (face). While the staff and doctors were nice, overall I have to say I regret having gone to Clear Dermatology. They were the only place I could get a new patient appointment with quickly...perhaps now I know why. I went there for help when I was having what seemed like hives or an allergic reaction, and I was desperate for fast relief from the itching. Over the course of multiple appointments, no one at Clear Dermatology was able to diagnose my seemingly uncommon or unique situation. I strongly regret letting them take a biopsy that has left a permanent scar and a convex "dent" in an intimate place. On top of that, they took blood work even though I had similar (not to say the exact same) blood work done recently beforehand. I spent way too much money on specialty creams and possible fixes...all of which just drew out my correct diagnosis even longer and left me with a worsening problem, which just led to spending more time and money at Clear. They eventually told me that they didn't think they would be able to help me, so they referred me back to my allergy doctor. Sigh. I left their care feeling like an anomaly and wondering if I would have to live with this "new normal." Fortunately, one of my friends recommended I get a second opinion from another dermatologist. I did so and my problem was diagnosed in literally under 10 minutes from the doctor seeing my skin. She immediately knew what it was and she prescribed me an inexpensive cream. My problem was improved in days and was TOTALLY resolved in under a month or so. While the care was kind and Clear, what I needed was the prompt and confident diagnosis and swift care I received elsewhere, not to mention the comfort in knowing my situation was not as uncommon as I was led to believe. Even though this was months ago now, I received yet another bill with additional charges, which just reminded me of how much time and money was lost by my decision to go to Clear Dermatology. Just my own experience. I wish the nice people at Clear success in their future, though I also hope others won't have to go through what I went through. read more

I had an appointment with a dermatologist, concerned about some dark spots I never had before. I had never been to a dermatologist so I had a lot of questions. Once I get there they make you fill out some form nothing out of the ordinary. Once I was with the dermatologist I told her I had never been to one therefore I was lost on how or why I had those dark spots on my body. I also had some questions on maybe some products I was using were a cause or maybe an allergy, long story short, she never answered my questions but send me a 100$ cream, and finished saying everything was fine. I just paid a copay of 100$, don't answer any of my questions and plus I need to buy a $100 cream!? Everyone was very nice and understanding. The doctors are always very quick yet willing to spend the time to make you feel good about to our visit. While other doctors rush you out the door, Clear seems to give extra time for questions and bring up things I didn't even think of. It may seem lame to mention but The office has huge windows with no blinds so be prepared to be hot in the waiting area! When you call, they don't answer and expect for you to use an online chat service (ok that's fine, I'm busy too I get it) Went there filled out the 10 page new patient form. I didn't even get past the second page when I was called into a room. The Dr spent (maybe) 5 min with me and seemed in a HUGE rush like the building was burning down and she had to leave. The best part... I was told my bill was $69 (for what I'm not sure?) Then I see my online statement and they charged me $100... I've been coming here since I was in high school back in 2012 when my acne got worse and started covering my chest and back. My dermatologist then was Dr. Cox, who has since moved to Austin, but she was wonderful! I was prescribed birth control and my acne cleared right up! She also diagnosed me with keratosis pilaris, which is really only a cosmetic issue. I'm still trying to find a product that can help alleviate it since treatments vary from patient to patient. I have yet to find a new dermatologist here to become familiar with, but I now only go to Clear Dermatology for medspa treatments like Botox. The front office staff is a hit and miss sometimes, but for the most part, they're friendly and will schedule you. If you find it frustrating to get an appointment over the phone or have social anxiety (I used to be afraid to order pizza on the phone), they do have online scheduling! read more

Lacy has been the one that performs the procedure and is very thorough. She is professional and friendly which helps with what could be a very uncomfortable situation with her humor and sunny disposition. If I could rate Clear Dermatology 0 stars, I would. I had an appointment for 8:30 am and if I got there AFTER 8:45 am, I would have to reschedule. I got there EXACTLY at 8:44 am in the office, due to traffic. All I needed was a shot that I normally get for my skin condition. This is nothing new that I get and it only takes 2 minutes for them to give me the shot. I was in EXCRUCIATING PAIN and they DID NOT CARE AT ALL. I explained to them that I could not reschedule my appointment because I could not take anymore vacation time from my job. I basically took time off of work, drove 54 minutes, wasted my time and gas, just to get turned down at a dermatologist office who showed me they do not care about their patient. The doctor I normally would go to is Dr. Thomas and due to this horrible experience, I will never go to this dermatologist ever again. I would not recommend this dermatologist to anyone. read more
