I live in a condo and I had a problem with silverfish. My landlord called a different exterminator, who came with a few cans of some spray, traps and a whole lot of excuses about all the things that he would not be able to do and that the only effective problem was to seal cracks, etc. Within days, I saw live bugs - no change to the amount or frequency. So, I did my own exterminating - pouring boric acid everywhere. That was a headache because you have to careful not to touch it and it does not eliminate the problem.
When I finally got fed up, I prayed and found House Specialty. I would recommend them to anyone. From the very first phone call, they were easy to talk to and helpful. It was easy to schedule an appointment - I got the day that I requested. They gave me a two hour window between 11 and 1, but Rory showed up right at 11am. He was very nice. He came with a TANK - not a couple of aerosol cans. He sprayed the entire apartment, and saturated areas that I asked him to saturate. Even after several requests to "make sure you get this area really well" and "did you get this spot", he was still very polite and kind and addressed whatever specific requests I had. He answered all of my questions and even my follow up calls. He came with plain clothes, and it didn't take long at all for him to spray the whole place. It has been 10 days now and I've only seen one silverfish. I was told that it would take approximately 30 days to kill them off. Of course, because I'm in a condo, they can't give the same guarantee as a single family home, but my apartment is bug free.
