I know everyone gave them good reviews, but too bad it is just not my experience. I booked two ppl for 4 hrs cleaning and was very specific about the blinds should be cleaned up first. After 4 hrs, we came home and saw there's still dust on the blinds. We had to call Ula and questioned what's going on. Our cleaning ladies couldn't speak English, so Ula had to communicate with them and got back to us. "They already cleaned up the blinds." she said. We had to take pictures to prove that they did a very lousy job. But that's not enough. "Oh, the blinds are so old so it's hard to tell.. They are cleaned already..." We ended up taking a video to show how easy it is to get rid of the dust if they did tried to clean the blinds- which they either lied about it, or they really didn't know how to get the job done. Because of that, they stayed another two hrs to redo the blinds- and Ula asked us to pay these two hours!! We paid for courtesy but we felt regret to use their service. Very very upset about it. It seems that the only spot which got cleaned was refrigerator... Oh and they made the bed. If anyone is interested in knowing the service quality, I can share the video we took and you will know better before you try their service. Think twice before you use Ula service. read more

Used this company about a year ago, sorry for the late review but these people are the worst. Their English is spotty and their cleaning girls thought it would be ok to leave a toilet brush on my kitchen table!!! When I called the woman seemed very indifferent towards it. Gross!!! I love Ula and her staff !!! Very professional & reliable etc, etc . .Ula's service came to my place weekly for approx one year when I lived in Wantagh & I was always pleased with the work. I had 2 women that worked as a team & I always requested them because not only were they awesome housekeepers..they were friendly, energetic smiling all the time and great to my kids if we happened to be stuck home on cleaning day on occasion. Ula managed to work with me & my ever changing schedule and all the people who worked for her were excellent at their job- If I were rich I would absolutely have picked one of her staff as my live in help : ) 2 months ago I moved into a much smaller place about 35 minutes away from where I had Ula's crew working for me . Ula offered to continue to work with me, but at first I thought I might be able to find someone local and get a cheapie rate because of smaller place plus I kinda felt bad about having Ula's people commuting to & from my place at the odd hours I have available for cleaning service. Boy was I wrong to even try anyone else .I've had 2 awful experiences and paid a good deal more than what Ula charged. We had a 5 bedroom, 3 floor house rental before & now have 3 Bedroom duplex and her rates were by far more reasonable to clean the entire house. I have to get Ula back !!! Fast !! I called this company the week of June 30 to schedule a cleaning for an apartment that I rent out. My tenant was leaving and I wanted it cleaned for my new tenant. I spoke to Ula who was very nice and she booked a cleaning for the next week. Since I don't live in the house, I had to explain to Ula where I would be hiding the key. She was then going to communicate the information to her staff. Ula's quote included 2 hours of cleaning by 2 staff members and was very reasonable. I opted to use her cleaning supplies. I'm happy to say that the apartment was cleaned perfectly and there were no problems finding the key or accessing the apartment. What I really liked is that Ula bills for her services. This was very important to me especially since I don't live in the house and wasn't able to be there to pay cash. I would definitely use this cleaning service again! read more

I recently bought a home and needed a move in deep clean so I researched cleaning services in the area and saw the Cleaning by Ula was a reputable cleaning company so I decided to give them a call. First I will say this, the house was still empty, only 2 baths and a kitchen to scrub down. My appointment was at 1pm, the girls didn't show till 2 but I was still hopeful. Ula provided me with a list of cleanings supplies which I had purchased in advance for the cleaners. My mother in law was there to let the girls in while I was at work and 2 hours of them being there I get a call from her expressing her concerns so I left work as soon as I could to inspect the job. Needless to say, I was horrified!!!! They "so called" cleaned by using windex on everything, the bathrooms still had soap scum all over and they had the nerve to say I didn't provide them with the right products. They used 4 rolls of paper towels and a whole bottle of windex to clean 2 bathrooms!!! I told them to leave, and then I took a tile spray to the bathroom myself and guess what.... It cleaned beautifully. So I am writing this to say, don't bother wasting your time and money to have someone spray your house with a 3 dollar bottle of windex. What a disgrace!!! Will make sure I tell everyone I know to avoid them, completely unprofessional. read more
