Beware of this company. We were quoted a price of approximately $1,000 for a deep cleaning. We were also informed that it could cost slightly more if it takes longer to complete the job. The implication was that it may take an extra hour. We have a standard colonial home; not a mansion. Two women came to our home and did a thorough cleaning job. We were happy with the work that was done. However, I question the amount of time it took to do the cleaning. After six hours, they had not finished the upstairs floor. Needless to say, what was estimated at about 8 hours to complete the deep cleaning was, at that point, not going to happen. The company sent a third cleaner who came to help for approximately two hours, and they told us that we had to pay for her as well. The first two ladies were here for about 10.5 hours when we asked them to leave because the cost was going way beyond what we expected. Our home has a main floor, an upstairs and a finished basement. The main floor and the upstairs were almost completed. The bathroom in the basement was cleaned, but the rest of the finished basement wasn't touched. The job was only 2/3 completed, and we were charged approximately $1500. We estimated that if we let them stay and finish, our bill would have been $2000. Who has ever paid that much for a deep clean? (Note - our house was not messy or excessively dirty when they came. We are moving, and wanted a deep clean before we put our home for sale) When we called the office, the manager simply said she understood our complaint, but there was nothing she could do about it. There was not even the courtesy of a follow up call from the owners to address our complaint. The owner of the company came to our home to give us an estimate based on a tour of our house, so she knew exactly what the cleaning entailed. The estimate was done in person - not over the phone, which should have eliminated any misunderstanding of what the job involved. I became a little suspicious when she asked for a credit card for a $200 down payment and disclaimed the quoted price and explained the job could take longer. I had a contracting business years ago and a quoted price was a quoted price without major price adjustments. If you decide to use this company for cleaning services, do not offer a credit card and demand that you pay in cash. Once they have your card information, they can arbitrarily charge you more, giving you, the customer, no recourse to challenge the price. We are reasonable people, but this is a complete rip off. This was so poorly managed, resulting in a 50% increase in the quoted price for a job 2/3 completed. Just a warning to all if you ever decide to use this company. read more

I also had my home renovation done and new floors, the company sent a new girl to my home I didn't know which I was not happy about who walked in with sneakers on filled with salt from a snow storm , on my new wood floors and I have a spot now that changed color because she left her salt wet sneakers there Last week I had $3,800 in a drawer that went completely missing. The cleaning girl that works for this company was confirmed the one who cleaned the unit. No one else was alone in my home. There is a ongoing investigation currently, I reached out to the owner because she advertises a "licensed and insured" as well as a stress free cleaning Nothing about this company has offered me stress free In the very beginning the company was kind, they offered me full transparency of all the information I reached out to the owner to get their insurance Information and she will not give it to me. She is claiming if she gives me her insurance that is her admission to the crime, I called the detective on the case and he said that's not accurate I am entitled to their information as advertised in their site. I may not get approved for the claim but it's my right to try, since I am a victim of a crime. The owner boasts on her social media about having a 7 figure company and hitting record breaking months on sales. I would think this owner would want to do the right thing for me because I am devastated, I own a business my clients are always right, and I always go above and beyond to make it right with my clients. I also saw a post on the owners social media yesterday saying" I'm not liking people today after an altercation we had because she did not give me the information she promised in the beginning I also told the owner I was going to write a review and she had her lawyer send me a bogus email trying to threaten me, it's my right to share my experience with facts. As I will continue to do so, sad the lack of empathy this owner has for my violation and betrayal.... Paid them to do a deep clean and wash my windows. Paid several hundred dollars. Showed up to my house, not even a basic cleaning was done. They have great reviews on Google, but like so many Google reviews, those reviews conflict with other sites. The first person I asked if she knew a house cleaner after I stopped using Shore to Shore asked her friend who said "I can't help you, I was using Shore to Shore but was NOT happy and stopped using them". I paid GOOD money for both deep cleaning & maintenance. SO much of my things were tossed out without asking. I'm mostly mad about that. I paid to have the window pans cleaned but they randomly skipped windows all over the house. It's been a few months since they were last here. I dropped something under my sofa & felt like a fool to see they NEVER cleaned under the sofa - or bed. These are exactly the things you pay to get done. Even I can sweep / vacuum AROUND everything!! Overall, they did a good job cleaning my tub and shower. Those were the only two parts of my house that I noticed a difference for the price that they charge. I was left extremely underwhelmed. When we met in my kitchen it was implied that it was $65 an hour, they sent two people to my house and charged me $65 an hour per person. So $130 an hour to clean my house. They took their time which makes sense since they're charging $130 hour. Overall though I could not notice a difference. It does say in the contract that they bill per person per hour but I feel like they purposely mislead you in conversation. My mom, husband and I were all under the same thought that it was $65 an hour. I am will nit be hiring them back. My advice ask more questions and read the contract throughly which was my mistake. read more

First time I've ever had my house professionally cleaned and I COULD CRY! It is the cleanest I've ever seen it. I was so sick and couldn't thank them myself but they did an amazing job. They cleaned the radiators, baseboards, walls, and they even did my DISHES! I didn't even know that was part of it The the two women who came to our home were so courteous and super efficient. they don't even deserve one star!! beware!! this is the worst cleaning service ever! two young girls come to my house and were here three hours and didnt even complete one room. i have pics and video of them texting and pics of the dirtiness with being on their phone. the whole house is more dirty than it was before they came. after i called the company they didnt care said o they are under 21 and one is pregnant. how is this even possible to come and satisfy customers. im super upset and have never have ever had this happen before in my life. read more

I would not use Shore to Shore again. I would like to start by saying that what the girls cleaned, they did an excellent job, but overall there were a few red flags. Three girls showed up to do my "move in" clean job, when I had originally only been told that 2 would show up. I had only budgeted for 2 girls at a rate of $55 per hour per person for about 5-6 hours is what I was "quoted" over the phone. Even if they had been there for an additional 2 hours, that would have been fine. But 3 had showed up so I then figured it would go much faster than was originally discussed. I was not happy that adding a 3rd girl was not discussed with me as it resulted in my pricing being double what we had originally discussed. In total they were there for 8 hours total and didn't even touch the basement and my kitchen cabinets were still dirty, which I have photo proof of. The 3 girls spent over an hour and a half on a floor of my house that has nothing in it! There is a small bathroom, but I didn't really understand what took so long as there is an empty room and 4 windows total including the bathroom. The second floor, there are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The master bath we were asked if we wanted them to "do a real deep clean" because it's an older bathroom and truly needs to be gutted; we told them, it needs to be cleaned, but don't go crazy. One girl spent over an hour in there, it looks great but I wasn't thrilled that she had asked me if she needed to take her time and still did when I told her not to. Next is my first floor which is a kitchen/dining area and living room; I should also add the house was empty. The kitchen took them close to 2.5/3 hours and it was still dirty! I hired them mostly for the bathrooms and the kitchen! **I was offered for someone to come back to clean the kitchen, but by then I was moving in the next day and had to do it myself.** they did get my disgusting fridge to look pristine on the inside, so like I said what was touched did sparkle! Lastly, we had discussed including my basement, which wasn't touched and that was extremely disappointing giving I spent over $1,000. When I called to give feedback the next day I was told the owner was on a zoom call and that I should text her, a conversation I did not want to have over text. Again, she offered to have someone come back to touch up the kitchen, but that the basement would have been an additional cost as it would have been additional hours. I don't appreciate the bait and switch and for that I would not use them again. Maybe for smaller jobs, but definitely not for a move in. read more

I have been using Shore To Shore Cleaning for 3 years now. They are fantastic. I have them come bi-weekly, and it is great! It takes so much off my mind working all week that I dont have to spend my days off cleaning! They get everything done, floors, bathrooms, and my kitchen SPARKLES! Very disappointed in this service. After seeing their Instagram page and seeing the luring pictures of workers two fisted with swifter in one hand or rag in the other hand or one worker on hands and knees scrubbing a floor it leaves you feeling like your home will be sparking clean. Text messages are even shown from supposed satisfied customers. This was my experience. Jeanmarie the owner came for estimate and told me first cleaning would be $40 an hour pp for initial cleaning. I have a 4 bedroom 2.5 bath home. I asked her if she would be part of the cleaning crew. She told me she does not clean at all anymore. Note- she is featured in her Instagram pictures cleaning - false advertising! Blonde hair blue eyes. They were scheduled to arrive at 230. I was texted at 2 they were running late. I appreciated the text. They did not arrive until 330. One hour late. Two girls arrived asking if I was getting a deep clean or regular clean. I asked if they had gotten work order. They explained a deep clean would take 6 hours and involve washing baseboards and moving couches etc. I told them at that late hour of 330 no just regular cleaning but I have on my work order for oven and fridge to be cleaned. They begin working and continue working for the next 4 hours and 45 minutes. I'm home and watching when they come downstairs but not exactly over their shoulders. I heard vacuuming upstairs. I did notice when they were dusting with swifter it was a dirty swifter duster and wasn't changed. I saw my stairs being vacuumed with a floor head instead of a carpet head I have a runner on wood. It was a long and late cleaning I offered them pizza as I fed my family. They took a quick break to eat. I also noticed the water used to mop was not changed from upstairs to downstairs. It was dark dirty water. It's very hard and awkward to scrutinize people as they are working in your home. I was trying to be patient. After job was done I was told I needed to sign a form stating if I was satisfied with the job or not. Obviously that is putting pressure on people to state you are satisfied. I wrote a brief statement saying the girls were very nice and seemed to work hard and that I decided to do a quick walk through which I did and when I did I found a few things missed however it is late and I will go through the rest of my house tomorrow. The cost for 4 hours and 45 minutes was $369.33 . Today I went through my house room by room. My daughters bedroom wasn't even vacuumed! Staircase I swiped and I have pictures I took up dust on the wood and then decided to shake out my two area rugs on my side entryway and omg what fell out onto the floor!! It was never vacuumed! How do you not vacuum anything? My washer and dryer was not wiped down either. I'll cut to the chase. I texted pictures to the owner of everything. She called me and there was no apology only excuses. She said well girls were running late and started you late and they were probably tired . Then she added "but I'm not making excuses". I said "yet you are". I said it's not my problem if they are tired. Not to be rude but it's really not. I was nice. I offered them drinks, I fed them pizza. All things I don't have to do. They didn't do their job. Jean Marie said she would try and get the one girl to come back today if she could reach her. I said I had her here for 5 hours yesterday and I have things to do today I can't wait for people to come back today. Then we got disconnected, she called me back and told me how this girl is her most requested girl and then we got disconnected again bc of her bad cell area and she never called me back today again or followed up with a text. Just used shore to shore cleaning for the first time today!found them on yelp great reviews, so I called she answered right away and had a cancellation and was able to come 2 days after I called! I met them and I left I came home my apartment smelled clean once I opened the door it was amazing lol! They cleaned everything that I wouldn't and did a great job so clean I didn't even wanna make food or shower right away because I never seen my apartment this clean before!
