Beware of this company. We were quoted a price of approximately $1,000 for a deep cleaning. We…read morewere also informed that it could cost slightly more if it takes longer to complete the job. The implication was that it may take an extra hour. We have a standard colonial home; not a mansion. Two women came to our home and did a thorough cleaning job. We were happy with the work that was done. However, I question the amount of time it took to do the cleaning. After six hours, they had not finished the upstairs floor. Needless to say, what was estimated at about 8 hours to complete the deep cleaning was, at that point, not going to happen. The company sent a third cleaner who came to help for approximately two hours, and they told us that we had to pay for her as well. The first two ladies were here for about 10.5 hours when we asked them to leave because the cost was going way beyond what we expected. Our home has a main floor, an upstairs and a finished basement. The main floor and the upstairs were almost completed. The bathroom in the basement was cleaned, but the rest of the finished basement wasn't touched. The job was only 2/3 completed, and we were charged approximately $1500. We estimated that if we let them stay and finish, our bill would have been $2000. Who has ever paid that much for a deep clean? (Note - our house was not messy or excessively dirty when they came. We are moving, and wanted a deep clean before we put our home for sale) When we called the office, the manager simply said she understood our complaint, but there was nothing she could do about it. There was not even the courtesy of a follow up call from the owners to address our complaint. The owner of the company came to our home to give us an estimate based on a tour of our house, so she knew exactly what the cleaning entailed. The estimate was done in person - not over the phone, which should have eliminated any misunderstanding of what the job involved. I became a little suspicious when she asked for a credit card for a $200 down payment and disclaimed the quoted price and explained the job could take longer. I had a contracting business years ago and a quoted price was a quoted price without major price adjustments. If you decide to use this company for cleaning services, do not offer a credit card and demand that you pay in cash. Once they have your card information, they can arbitrarily charge you more, giving you, the customer, no recourse to challenge the price. We are reasonable people, but this is a complete rip off. This was so poorly managed, resulting in a 50% increase in the quoted price for a job 2/3 completed. Just a warning to all if you ever decide to use this company.

I moved into his one bedroom coop recently and was having trouble adjusting. It's hard to trust someone to come and clean up your life, but after meeting Jake and his wife one time, I eagerly handed over the key. Today they came while we were at work and oh my goodness, talk about an overhaul!! This apartment is dust free and cleaner than I have ever seen it. I literally walked in about 10 minutes ago and had to post this review immediately. The bathroom is spotless and smells so clean. The bedroom is also extremely clean. They even changed linens! Don't get me started on the kitchen... they are miracle workers!! Jake texted me to confirm he had arrived and texted me when he left. He even followed up with me later. Truly the best cleaning experience I have had. I look forward to a very long and mutually beneficial relationship. I heard they do commercial cleaning and painting too! Well enough reviewing, call Jake before he books up and tell him Jen s sent you. Ok I have to update this review, a billion stars! I have been using this company for a few years now and they do not cease to amaze. I had an emergency c section, so I went to a regular check appointment and boom straight to the hospital. My home was a mess. How could I bring my baby home that way? I texted Jake and his wife and they were able to come in and clean before we got home. My parents and my husband were amazed!! They cleaned and organized. This was such a relief. I leave my valuables out, I trust them completely and they always do a superior job. I highly recommend them. I suggest calling immediately as they do book up. One of the best decisions I've ever made!

Four years ago, All Island Restoration worked on our whole…read moredownstairs of our home after a flood we had in the kitchen. we needed our floor replaced because the water warped our pergo floor. When it was time to pick our flooring, my husband and I went looking for a floor in our given price range. We went to Home Depot and Floor and Decor and picked out flooring that we liked. Alexis kept telling us that she had a place for us to pick out flooring and kept avoiding talking about flooring we like from other companies. Since we were into the project for approximately 8 months already due to COVID, we decided to go with her contact. We wound up picking a floor with their contact, but we're concerned about how thin the flooring was since it was going over tile that was under our original pergo We were told not to worry about it and that they would make sure that everything was done right. About a month after install, the floor started buckling. We callEd All Island to ask Jay, the owner to come take a look at the floor. He said it would cost us $7,000 to redo the floor. We explained that we had reservations about putting this thin floor in, given our circumstances and that Alexis assured us that it would be fine and they'd take care of it. Jay told us flat out that he would replace it for another $7,000. Since then the floor has been separating in many places and even sticking up. We cut our feet on it and my husband had to tape it down. Since we only looked at samples and don't know the company they got this floor from, we have no warranty on it and have to redo the entire floor ( in four rooms of my home) costing us $9,000 more only four years later. The reason we waited these few years was because we knew it was going to cost a lot to redo this floor. Now we are in the process of getting it done right at a big cost. Home Depot professions said they don't even sell less than 8mm thick flooring, but All Island installed 5mm even after our concerns. I have many pictures of this disaster. When Jay visited us, he went around our kitchen kicking the planks to close up multiple gaps. The flooring was a big part of this disaster, but there is way more that happened with the crew that was working on our project. Paint splatter on our brand new windows and screens, holes left in corners of the room, kitchen cabinet handles screwed in crooked, grout started falling out of the backsplash tiles, and I could go on. Wish they would have done right by us.
