Complete scam... and over priced. Stay away! Technician didn't even take out one tool to diagnose the problem.

The tech quickly diagnosed that the control board was he problem and that he could pick one up and be back the following day to install. A his word, he was back the following day, made the repair and everything is up and running!! The service was fast, efficient and the tech was courteous and very knowledgeable! The morning following the repair, I realized the water dispenser light was staying on. I texted the tech and within a half hour, I had a response of how to remedy. I highly recommend this company!

I have never written a negative review before, but I believe people should know about my experience…read morewith Mr. Appliance. I called them to repair my parents' washer and dryer, both of which were only four years old. The technician diagnosed both machines as needing parts. We were charged a $150 diagnostic fee for each machine, even though it was a single service call and the washer and dryer were right next to each other. Since they said they could fix the machines, we agreed to the repairs. The company returned three separate times, but nothing was ever repaired. It became clear that the original diagnosis was incorrect. The technician even told us he felt bad about the situation and said he would only charge one diagnostic fee because neither machine had been fixed. He also told us we would receive a credit for the $400 we had already paid. When no refund arrived, I called the office. Instead of the credit we were promised, I was told we would only receive $85 back. We paid $400 and ended up with two machines that still didn't work because the diagnosis was wrong. Despite this, the company refused to refund the diagnostic fees as promised. My father is a senior living on a fixed budget, so this was a significant financial burden. Based on our experience, I feel the company handled this situation unfairly. If you're considering using this company, I encourage you to ask detailed questions about their diagnostic and refund policies before committing to any repairs. Better yet , skip this company altogether due to their shady business practices.

Shannon, our service tech, may look like a bit like Reservoir Dogs' Michael Madsen ("Mr. Blonde"), but he was a master Mr. Fix-It more like Tarantino's problem-solving Pulp Fiction protagonist "Winston Wolfe" (infamously played by Harvey Keitel). He diagnosed the challenging problem and on the spot called into Samsung for specialized parts. Shannon was back a week later and did the fix, restoring our fridge to it's factory freezin' glory, and giving our suspenseful story the happiest of endings.
