I can't recommend Chandler and Robert enough!…read more Before choosing a trainer, I met with a few different ones because I wanted to make sure I found the right fit for both me and my Belgian Malinois, Xena. From our very first consultation, Chandler stood out. He didn't rush us or make me feel like we were on a time limit. He immediately took Xena's leash, spent time getting to know her, worked with her, and really paid attention to who she was. Within minutes, he had earned her trust. What really impressed me was his attention to detail--he noticed something on her that I had assumed was just a bump. He pulled out his flashlight, took a closer look, and realized it was actually a tick. Thanks to him, I was able to get her to the vet and have it taken care of right away. That level of care told me everything I needed to know. Throughout her three-week board and train, Robert worked closely with Xena, and both he and Chandler were always responsive whenever I reached out. I loved receiving her report cards and progress updates, and seeing videos of her playing and learning on their social media made being apart from her a little easier. One thing I especially appreciated was that they didn't just train Xena--they taught me how to continue building on everything she was learning. The weekly training sessions while she was there gave me the confidence to work with her, and her graduation day was the perfect opportunity to put everything into practice in a real-world environment around people, dogs, food, and distractions. Xena came home with a great foundation, and I came home with the knowledge and confidence to continue building on it. Thank you, Chandler and Robert, for taking such great care of my girl. If I ever need additional training in the future, you guys will absolutely be my first call. If you're looking for trainers who genuinely care about both the dog and the people who love them, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. Chandler has built something special, and it's clear he takes great pride in his business, his reputation, and the people he brings onto his team. That gave me confidence from day one, and it's exactly why I'd trust them again in the future.

I've been meaning to post a glowing review for Happy Tails Dog Sitting on Yelp for quite some time…read more Samantha and Norm are the BEST. She treats your dog as if he was her own and sends you daily updates (via email or text) with pictures, reassuring you that your dog is in great hands and doing well. Most recently, my dog Prince stayed with her for a week - the longest he's been away from home - and his birthday fell during that stay. She baked him the most adorable doggie cake for me to take home to celebrate when I got back, and also got him a Prince crown cookie with his name on it and sent me pics of him in a party hat! He also got a solo walk to PetSmart with Norm to pick his own toy, and an egg for breakfast - one of his favorite foods to eat! I am always blown away by how caring and loving they are and it makes me feel so much better if and when I have to travel, knowing that Prince is in good hands! I adopted him when he was 4 years old, and he had been owner surrendered at a shelter so the thought of boarding him at a kennel just made me so upset. I found her on Yelp and Prince has stayed with her 3 times so far, and I can't say enough great things about Samantha and Norm. 100% recommend them to anyone who wants a home away from home for their dog while they're away. She even checks in periodically, especially right after the stay, to check in on my pup and make sure he's doing well! And the first few visits, she even provided a wonderful take home bag with toys and homemade treats for Prince. So incredibly sweet and well priced. And much better than the options I've seen on DogVacay, which can be $50-75/night for minimal supervision! I'll be back the next time I go out of town!

I really wanted to give Happy Tails a chance, but the complete lack of urgency and poor…read morecommunication made that impossible. I've been trying to plan for a week-long work trip at the beginning of May, followed some time in Europe, and needed to secure boarding. Over three days, I submitted multiple intake forms (in case the first didn't go through), sent texts, and called. There was no follow-up, no acknowledgment. Nothing. The only response I received was a single text saying they weren't accepting new boarders until May 1 and to fill out a request form...which I had already done multiple times. If you're too busy to take on new clients, that's completely understandable. But ignoring repeated outreach and sending a generic, unhelpful response isn't. Communication matters, especially when people are trying to make plans with real deadlines. They may be great with dogs, but based on this experience, I wouldn't rely on them if you expect professionalism or responsiveness.

**Warning to Pet Owners - Please Read Before Choosing This Facility**…read more I deeply regret trusting this dog daycare with the safety and well-being of my 9-month-old goldendoodle puppy. What was supposed to be a safe and social environment turned into a traumatic experience that has left lasting physical and emotional scars on my dog. During his visit, my puppy was **attacked by a 2-year-old mixed breed dog**. The daycare clearly failed in several critical areas: * **Lack of proper behavioral assessment** of the dogs they accept * **Insufficient staffing** on the floor to supervise interactions * **Inattentiveness** of staff during the incident As a result, my puppy sustained **serious injuries** -- a torn eyelid and a puncture wound on the side of his face. He required **surgery**, wore a cone for nearly **three weeks**, and had to undergo multiple vet visits for follow-up care and complications. The emotional toll was just as devastating: he became fearful in public, developed digestion issues due to stress, and, even weeks later, his eyelid has **not healed properly**. The daycare only agreed to cover the surgery costs and **refused to pay for other necessary treatments** -- including prescribed medications and additional vet visits. Their response felt more like damage control than genuine concern. If you love your dog or cat, I strongly urge you to reconsider bringing them here. No pet should have to go through what mine did. Safety should always come first -- and in this case, it clearly did not.
