The class was hard but also relaxing because it was heated. The instructor was specific and knew her stuff. The class was full but you had to register to get a spot. We had plenty of room to spread out. I attend several life time locations and this one is close to work. The app is super convent and allows you to look for a specific class, locations and instructors. I love the fact they have an outdoor area to simulate working out in the backyard. They also have massage chairs and cryo loungers too. I am excited to take more classes here.

Here, the gym is open 24 hours and it's not wall to wall freaking busy. I'm always able to find a cardio machine or weight machine, no problem. I'm even able to have a cardio machine or two between another patron, because let's be honest, who wants to really work out RIGHT NEXT to someone else? I certainly do not. This gym is also always clean. I haven't noticed old, dirty paper towels on the ground and everyone here is super respectful of each other. So far, I have yet to see no one finishing their workout, without wiping down the equipment with disinfectant. I also appreciate that Planet Fitness is a gym that is super welcoming to a noob, such as myself. No intimidating gym personalities, hogging up equipment or standing in front of mirrors flexing. People of all shapes and sizes are here, some starting their fitness journeys as well. In all, I'm absolutely happy that I've joined and I look forward to this being my permanent gym spot. PS: At first I honestly was hesitant to join because some of the previous reviews made comments about the area/parking lot and hinted about cars being vandalized. I don't get that vibe at all. First, the parking lot usually has a lot of cars, at least when I come, in the wee hours of the morning (between 4-5 AM) and it's well lit. Not saying it hasn't happened in the past, I'm just saying as a woman, I don't feel unsafe at this location, for myself or my vehicle when parking here to workout.

CONs (This is where it lacks in comparison to Golds Gym that I'm accustom to) - The equipment is so/so...some are good and some pointless, the dumbbell selection in the 15-30lb range is terrible...good luck getting these weights without waiting forever, the same can be said for preloaded bars...there's like no selection...and the same can be said for 25lb plates as it seems like people are always looking for them, the crowd/vibe is alright at best and it tends to be a lot of younger kids, which isn't bad but it's just not the vibe I'm used too...oh and others that don't know decent gym etiquette...and there isn't much space to do stuff in the free weight area as people are basically on top of each other. You can get a decent work out in, but maybe the smaller chain gyms are better in this area.

There's yoga, Pilates, rowing, spin, etc. each class is in a small heated studio with fit up to 3 people, but often times you're alone. You can change the temperature from inside or outside the studio! I tried iso, and it was a fantastic workout in 36ish mins. I kept the temperature around 125-130 throughout. Do note you need a specific yoga mat that can withstand the head. However, they have some there to rent!
