Booked a night at this hotel for a last minute trip to visit family and I have to say I was amazed of how clean and luxurious this hotels looks. These are just a few pictures. My little family loved it. Will definitely book again. Great guest services. Complementary breakfast as well.

We give Strata Hotel in Mt View California five plus stars This hotel has gone beyond our expectations. The hotel is kept in excellent condition. The friendly staff is continually wiping down doors and windows. It is immaculate. The location is great. We had come here for a medical procedure and they have full COVID prevention policies in place. All staff wear masks. Breakfast is provided. The staff gives you a breakfast list the day before. You give them your breakfast choices and the next morning at the time you choose your breakfast is ready for you. The lobby has two Nespresso coffee station. The coffee is amazing. When you check in you are given water in a reusable bottle. The water is refreshing. Our room is beautiful with a comfortable bed. The bed is king size and calls your name. You can lay in bed while watching an eighty inch plus TV screen. While laying on the bed you can breathe purified air. The decor in the room is beautiful. The room comes with a refrigerator, microwave and a Nespresso coffee maker. Just when you think the room has everything you see more. The nightstands have motion detectors underneath with lights. There is even a suit presser. Next is the bathroom. Wow! The bathroom is amazing. Let's talk about the shower. It doesn't matter if you are tall or short. While in the shower water comes from the ceiling shower, the wall shower or hand shower. Your choice of one or two or all three showers heads at once. Now let's talk about toilets. You have a heated water and toilet seat bidet. If that's not enough the floors are heated. Of course I have to mention the body wash, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion is by Elemis Spa Home products. Top notch. Plus the towels are so soft. I am so amazed at Hotel Strata. I really don't want to leave. I do need to add they have free loaner bikes, helmets and locks. There are trails and parks nearby. There is a nice outdoor patio. We sat in the sun and ate breakfast and dinner. I did see a sign that led to an upstairs that said Gym. It was chained off. Probably due to COVID. If you have a chance to stay here you should. I would definitely come back.

Hotel Strata is a gem! I took my sons on a last minute getaway and chose to stay at this establishment because of the central location, the amenities, and the quality. The room was Huge! It had a perfect kitchenette, an amazing bathroom with extra technology like a towel warmer, a bidet, and even warm floors akin to the Korean style homes. The beds were very comfortable and the down pillows cradled my head so well that I slept through the night! The staff even placed a real baby crib in the room with two cute little teddy bears for my 10-month old son, which was so thoughtful and impressive. Upon unpacking, I even found Yoga equipment ready for use! As if all of that wasn't enough, the hotel staff serves a delicious HOT breakfast each morning that is included in your stay. Kirit, the owner, often enjoys chatting with guests and offering recommendations for site-seeing, as well as arranging rides in their shuttle to and from major corporations for business travelers. They even offer bicycles you can freely borrow for the day to cruise around town! It was refreshing to see such amazing personalized service and kindness of a family-owned and operated business. I HIGHLY recommend Hotel Strata to anyone and everyone! You will be very happy with a great sleep, a full stomach, and smiles all around when you choose Strata :) We certainly were!

This place gets pretty packed on the weekends. I will write a review on this place as it deserves one but back to the hotel. When we arrived our room came with a complimentary drink! We grabbed our drinks and headed up to our room. To our surprise a welcome board awaited us with chocolates, figs, nuts, and a bottle of water. It was so cute as well as perfect timing because I needed a little snack before heading to our event. Let's face it this girl always wants a snack and I love fresh figs. Our room was an adequate size and the bed was super comfy. They took every small detail into consideration. They even had separate water for you to fill the steamer. You know how sometimes the water can cause white, salt like residue? Well not here. There was a small squeeze bottle for you to fill the steamer. Come on; who thinks of that? I wished we had more time in our room but it was a shower, a quick change then off we went. The parking is across from the hotel. You do have to pay for it but it's convenient so there's that. I definitely want to come back as it is a great place to hang out , especially with food next door!

Staff here are friendly and nice. Restrooms are clean and modern! Last night I came for the jazz night in their lounge. It was Terrigal and Tamara that were performing, and they sounded lovely! I truly enjoyed the music for the night. My gal friend and I first sat at a sofa nearby the stage, and we kept smelling farts. Someone nearby kept letting it rip. Not okay. Eventually halfway through the jazz night, we relocated to a couch towards the back where there was less people. But then the people who was sitting close to us followed and sat on the couch next to us too. Lol We both enjoyed a glass of wine, and it was good. I definitely recommend coming here for their jazz night. It seems to be happening every other Friday. Since one of my girl friends couldn't make it last night, we'll be coming again for the next jazz night on March 27th. :) I definitely recommend parking on San Antonio to save the $10 valet parking fee!

But the acoustics of the room are terrible, and the sound system provided by the band was sub-par. This is yet another case where the construction skimped on acoustic treatment. Because of the bad acoustics, I don't think I would recommend the jazz nights. If you go, you can either pay $10 for valet parking, or you can park across the street on San Antonio Road and walk over.

Don't you hate it when other reviewers don't tell you how much they paid? I mean, if you break it down with the free parking (at least $10), the free breakfast (at least $25 for family of 4), the EV charging (at least $15), this place really is quite the bargain. If you come here on Wednesday night there is a manager's reception. Unfortunately, we left Tuesday so no go there. Speaking of parking, it's gated. There is a sense of safety associated with the gated and pass you need on your car when you check in. Yes, there are outdoor parking spots but we had a room next to the service elevator which took us straight to the basement. It was perfect that we didn't have to lug too far. And as for elevators, there are 2 on every floor. One closer to check in and the other the service elevator. The weight room oddly enough is on the 3rd floor. I think my only complaint here was there was no remote for the TV. Other than that, they had free weights, kettlebells, treadmills, exercycles, and one Paleton. The swimming pool unfortunately was out of commission, not that anyone wanted to swim in the cold. Free internet connection was about 10Mb down, just enough for casual use. 4 Tessie chargers and 2 J1772 chargers underground. Free breakfast details. I believe it's 6am to 10pm. There really isn't a lot table for four. I only saw one table like that but there are just enough tables for everyone. As for the food, I wanted to applaud that it was different on both days we were here for the main. They had chorizo and sausage one day and pulled chicken and bacon the next. I also wanted to chime in that the fresh blueberries and blackberries are such a nice tough. Usual oatmeal, waffles, cereal, baked goods (the croissants here are delicious) The negatives: I did wish the coffee in the lobby was hot when we first check in. But that was not a deal breaker. My only gripe here was maybe the bathroom. Water pressure was below average and the shower base looked like they ran out of money remodeling. We utilized their media room with some of our friends whom we've haven't seen in years. We ate there and had a comfortable time as if this was our dining room. If you needed the maids to redo the room, you'll have to contact housekeeping. We were there for 2 nights, definitely did not need help but did wish for more cookies and chocolate :) Oh, very important. There's only 1 entrance here off El Camino and make sure you have your key card at all times because the you'll need it for entry. Big thank you to Holly for getting the exact room we wanted, #416. All the rooms have been updated.

For that much money you would expect a great experience but the hotel decided to cut corners and save money by cleaning the carpets in the guest rooms while people were staying in them. There was a sign in my room saying they were doing all the rooms on a floor the same day. I didn't want people cleaning the carpets while I was staying in the room so I left the do not disturb tag on my door but when I got back to the room on the 2nd day of my stay after working all day they had ignored it. I found the carpets were soaking wet and the room smelled of cleaning chemicals. I initially left my shoes on but the slimy liquid mixture of cleaner and hotel carpet gunk made my shoes slide like I was on ice when stepping off the carpet onto the tiled parts of the room. So then I took the shoes off and didn't slide on the tile but my socks soaked through quickly and became super uncomfortable so I ended up just going barefoot and having to fall asleep with the feeling of gross wet sticky feet. The next morning everything was dry and the carpet seemed normal so the hotel only would have needed a single day without a guest in the room to clean the carpet without impacting the experience of anyone staying there. The tiled parts of the room had also dried into a gross sticky film that was like walking around a terrible dive bar. I got in touch with Hilton after my stay and they weren't interested in the details of what happened. I offered to share pictures showing my experience but they declined them. I asked for a refund for the 2nd night but after putting me on hold for a while they only offered Hilton points. When I declined that they put me back on a hold for a while and then offered a voucher that was good for 1 night only at Homewood Suites. When I declined that they finally offered a partial refund but made it as painful as possible and wouldn't just put it back on my card but instead got my address and claim that they will send me a check that I will have to deal with.

There was some sort of mousse thing that was ok, but I didn't like it much. The gougères were my favorite. The second row was cucumber sandies, chicken on croissant and lobster on brioche toast. All were excellent. I don't like caraway though, so cucumber sandies weren't the best. They bring out a warm scone when they bring out your second tea selection (you get two). The scone was not great. Just give me a plain scone and let me slather it with yumminess and I am a happy gal. This was cranberry thingy that was just ok. Desserts were good. There was some sort of chocolate thing that I enjoyed. The mini pavlova was my favorite. There was some sort of quick bread with zingy curd on top. It was ok. Then there was a moussie thing that was just ok. I don't know what it was because the online menu Does Not match what they give you. I understand that they change it, but it was a little deceptive. The ambiance was NOT relaxing. The setup up is in their café, which is next to the lobby. I didn't expect to be sitting in the lobby. In the photo you can see the front desk.
