The hotel is cheap, clean, quiet, has free wifi and the staff are very friendly and helpful. It's also close to Brussel's center, with many shops, restaurants, and metro stations. But the good parts stop here... The rooms are very small and very frugal - no safe (wow, I didn't expect that!), no fridge, a tv from the previous century, wierd packets of shampoo, etc. The room had an actual key (remember those?) and I was warned that if I lose it there will be a 200 euro fine!
At least the bed was comfortable and I had two sockets of electricity, which is mostly what I needed on this trip anyway. But next time I'll pick a hotel with a higher standard. read more
