All it all it seems like a typical business hotel that does not need to create some exceptional customer experience as most of the people are there because it's right next to the Commision and it gets paid by their company or organization. Even if the customer is not happy no problem - at some point, people will book rooms here because they are the last ones left and it's international guests that probably will never even get back. It's so sad as with those things mentioned above, it could make such a difference to want to come back as I actually liked a lot how the hotel looked, including the room, and how the entrance is done.
Unfortunately, negative details that I would expect from a 4-star hotel that sell their rooms at around 200 €, kept on showing up:
I ordered a rose petal addition, but when I arrived there were none. When I went to the counter to ask if it was booked or not - as I even received a confirmation - the concierges said ok well we'll check. After a minute they said okay we take it out and oh sorry. If I would have booked the hotel just for that reason (which would have been possible) I would have been devastated! And also, for offering and confirming a service that did not work, I was actually very disappointed for such a blunt sorry after like 2 minutes of complaining. It seemed as if they did not care and made me even feel like I just made it up so I don't have to pay it.
In the sauna, there were no sauna clocks to measure the time that I spent in it - and the sauna door did not have a handle on the inside. It seems as if the hotel owners never actually used that sauna to see these things... quite astonishing as the sauna looks like it is quite old, being already black at some spots from many years of use. The iron I lent released some black sth when I pushed the steam button actually leaving a stain on my shirt.
Worst thing that happened to me: On the day I checked out the cleaning ladies knocked on my door at 9. a.m. to ask if it is already free - checkout is at 11 p.m. I mean okay... if I would stay more nights they at some point have to check - but they should know that I am leaving, it is a 4-star hotel after all!
Let be say some good things, too: I liked the design of the hotel - modern but still classy. The iron I asked for got delivered quickly and right to my room while I was in the sauna which was quite convenient. read more
