Had a great experience with this hotel!! I arrived in NY around 8am and got to this hotel around 10am. Even though we could not check-in earlier, the front desk was very accommodating my lounges. I left all of my items with them and explored around Brooklyn and NY until they gave me a call that my room was ready. The staff was great for my entire stay at this hotel and is one of the main reason why I enjoyed this hotel. I was lucky enough to get a room on one of the higher floors which had a very nice view of the city! The room overall was much smaller then I what I am used to (me being from CA), but overall found the room to be very clean and efficient! The location of the hotel was a plus as most everything that was needed or wanted is just a couple of blocks away (at most). read more

This was my partner and mine go to hotel when we came to the city every other month. It was always comfortable and in an excellent location. Won't be coming back. My partner had a reservation that they tried to cancel 24 hours before arrival because we tested positive for COVID. Would have thought they'd want to protect their staff and at least give us a credit for another stay. No luck. Doesn't matter how loyal you've been- out $700 on a stay we couldn't use because we aren't assholes and wouldn't put folks at risk. They can get bent. read more

My room was TIIIIINY. The attached pictures show the ENTIRE room. Literally 10" around the bed and a small bathroom. That's it. I couldn't believe how small it was. I had to crawl down to the foot of the bed to get off in the morning. There was also construction next door which sucked. I know they can't control that, but it was not great. They did offer "complimentary" ear plugs. There was some mold in the bathroom and the tv reception was awful while trying to watch football. There are a few other much nicer hotels right outside this hotel that I was envious of. read more

I worked there a while back and it wasn't the best experience. Management doesn't communicate nor try to help the workers succeed. They expect you to magically measure up to their expectations and will give you a hard time when you're not doing things right. The hotel was created by people with hospitality backgrounds but they never wrote any instructions or a playbook in how to do our jobs properly. There were many times I was told to handle something without any time expectations but I would get scolded for being too slow when they didn't even mention any due dates. The senior management treat their workers as a disposable workforce. Instead of helping the workers reach to their full potential and show real leadership, they don't have that sort of patience. You either get with the program, match their unspoken expectations, and perform well without drama or you'll be instantly let go. Cleaning up was one of the worst jobs, especially dealing with linens. Instead of creating an efficient laundry system, they depended on a chute and you had to handle all the nasty things (blood, urine, poop, etc.) stained on those sheets and had to hand count them before sending them off to be washed. It was physically demanding and can easily cause major injury; I suffered all sorts of ailments because of the job and instead of being supportive, they reacted to me as if I'm being the problem. I ultimately left because management was abusive, incompetent, and failed to create a happy and safe environment for people to work. Rarely anyone stays, many ultimately left or got fired. The hotel itself is more of a motel. The rooms are small and very little amenities other than the view. However, with so many new buildings being constructed, they'll eventually block out whatever value it has. You can get food downstairs because of the restaurant (independently owned) built into the side. Because of constant construction and traffic nearby, you'll often hear noisy cars and construction work happening. The employee accommodations don't include food, only free water. The lounge they provided was small and the electronics meant for us don't work. We don't have permanent lockers; we bring our own lock and have our own locker for the shift. After all that hard work, we walk out all sweaty and sticky. Instead of providing a shower in the bathroom for us to clean up (not like we don't have towels); I had to bring my own body wipes to freshen up. When I was still there, there wasn't even a water kettle for the guests to make hot tea. The quality of maintenance dropped as wall damaged was covered up, wall stains where either not wiped or not painted. Whatever standards they tried to hold is dropping; it's better to stay at an AirBnB than to stay at that place. Overall, I had too many bad experiences to recommended a guest to stay as I wouldn't stay there myself. Unless you're desperate, they are better places to stay. read more

*This review is for May/June* This hotel has the WORST customer service I have ever experienced. Not only did they damage/throw out my items, they ignored my many messages. DO NOT come here! Here is my story- I am an RN and my hospital was amazing enough to provide accommodations for us while working during COVID. Initially, the stay was fine. I would've given this place a solid 4/5. Small space but had everything I needed. However, during my birthday weekend, I decided to return home to celebrate with my family. When I returned, I found that my room had been given away to another guest WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE. Keep this in mind - it is currently 9pm and I just finished a 12.5 hour shift from the hospital. I am exhausted, in my disgusting scrubs AND I have a shift early next morning. My personal items (electronics, clothes, toiletries) were still in the room. The hotel attendant tried to call the manager, but to no avail. I was told that I can stay at their sister hotel for now and that they will look in their storage to see if my items were "stowed away". I wanted to be understanding so I stayed at their sister hotel for the night. Keep in mind, I had to find new toothpaste, pajamas, phone charger, scrubs for the next day and more - things that I had LEFT in my room that they "stowed away". The next day, I received a phone call from Stefanie, who apologized and told me that I can go back to the hotel to retrieve my belongings, which were placed in storage. I was fine with that, but when I went to look at my items, I realized that I was missing my apple charger outlet and wire ($29 and $18). Also, my bottle of face toner was not fully closed, meaning it completely poured out onto the rest of my items ($18). I told Stefanie about what happened and she suggested I reach out to Robert, the general manager. I reached out - 4 TIMES. He did not respond to me and I even tried to contact Stefanie again after, but SHE STOPPED RESPONDING. What kind of customer service is this!? They gave my room to someone else, damaged/lost my items and stopped responding after? There are no words to explain how rude/inconsiderate the managers are here. read more

This hotel has friendly staff and a nice lobby, but I wouldn't come back. The room and many of the public spaces were dirty. The WiFi was very spotty. Gym was too warm and lacking enough equipment (such as floor mats). We tried calling for ice but they kept bringing it to the wrong room. The doors and faucets and lights were all designed strangely- not user friendly at all- and I saw many other confused guests. I arrived @ approximately 12:45pm early check in , which it's not guaranteed they will have a room available, literally 15mints or maybe 20 mints later the young lady at the desk came and gave me my keys to my room ... ahhhhhhhh, awesome. I forget her name , very polite , service was outstanding . I also requested to be on a high floor and my room was on the 14th floor... Entering in the lobby I was expecting a more "GRAND" appeal , however overall nice hotel , comfortable and clean.... Location is perfect , there's the Brewhouse downstairs and also many other restaurants within walking distance ... Few things I wasn't happy with tho! 1-Shower was the hand held piece. 2-I had to request towels due to just one towel was in the bathroom. 3-There wasn't a refrigerator in the room, I had to request it. 4-There's no microwave at all to warm up food. 5-Ice machine is not on all the floors. (17th floor) 6-valet parking is $45 every time you leave and not per day.... Although I had to request several items , it took about 10 mints to receive all items .. Our recent stay was enjoyable at this small and clean boutique hotel. Check in was smooth and the staff were so friendly and informative. The following morning I ordered pre-paid delivery and the front desk called me when it arrived. PROS: well appointed space (although our room was small), prime location downtown near plenty of shopping and dining, valet, CLEAN! and comfortable bed, and again the staff. Aveda toiletries. CONS: $45!!! valet, wifi was not working at check-in luckily I had great connection so I did not try to connect again, I could hear someone coughing in their room (luckily after I woke up). I mention this because I am a light sleeper. I also feel like this is the case at most hotels. No fridge. Valet costs $45!!! dollars however there are self-park garages a few blocks away per the front desk. We personally didn't feel like driving several blocks away (and possible never finding said garages). For valet, you park in the front of the hotel and cross the little street to the valet booth and they will provide you with a ticket. You pay when you pick up your vehicle. Per the valet ticket call or text 1 hour before to request. I texted and my car was available before my requested time. A plus in my case! No in/out privilege. Great location next to shopping subways and food. Valet parking at the door for $45. Nice staff, late at check in but they were busy, it was a Saturday afternoon and staff was pleasant. Room was super tiny but fine for 2 of us. Horrible view on both ends (lots of construction) but slept like a baby. Bed was comfy, room was clean and so were the premises. Can't complain for the location, price and Saturday night oh and for a last minute book-all was good. Would totally recommend and stay there again. Did not turn TV on and noticed the tiny Keurig was super dirty inside (didn't use). Aveda products in bathroom-nice touch. read more

This was the third Hotel Indigo location we have tried. The Hotel Indigo Brooklyn is located right in down town Brooklyn. It is very close to shopping areas, Subway, Barclay Center and several other attractions. The hotel is across the street from the Sheraton and the aloft hotel. There is construction currently going on in front of the hotel so the street is tight. We parked using Vic's parking, which has an agreement with the hotel. We self parked but you can also have Vic's valet park your car. The cost is $35.00 per 24 hour period and you can pull the car out one time more time per day with no additional charge. The front desk was very helpful and checking in was fast and easy. The customer service was excellent at this hotel. As with the other Hotel Indigo's we stayed in, the lobby is small but hip. The hotel has 20 floors serviced by 2 elevators. The wait was never to bad but if the hotel was busy this might be an issue. Our room was super clean, cool and funky. We had two double beds as there were 3 of us in the room. There was more then adequate storage space and the room was a decent size, especially for NYC. There was a little refrigerator, safe, ironing board and a decent sized desk. The beds, pillows and linens were very comfortable. The room was also very quiet and in the daytime had a lot of natural light. We had a flat screen, good size TV mounted on the wall with several complimentary cable channels. There was wifi also, the hotel provided the log in name and password at check in. The bathroom was pleasant also with a very nice walk in shower and modern, funky tiles. The hotel provided soap, shampoo and conditioner. There was a big sink with and plenty of counter space. There was also a hair dryer. A restaurant is alongside the building, which basically serves as the hotel's own. We didn't try it, but it looked good. The restaurant serves beer and wine and drinks also. I booked with a no refund policy and and using AAA, and the price was still similar to comparable hotels in Manhattan. At a base race if $290.00 plus taxes, etc. we were in the $340.00 range at check out. Not a bargain rate even in NYC. I would have to call this hotel moderate/pricey based on my rate. All in all, this was a very nice hotel and location. If your looking for a comfortable, smaller hotel in downtown Brooklyn, Hotel Indigo hits the mark. read more

Do not book here. We booked our rooms 3/1 for our trip mid April. We stayed in the city 3 nights then made our way to Brooklyn. Uber dropped us off in front of the hotel and as we were walking to the doors, security approached asking what we needed. We told him we were checking in and he replied, "the hotel is closed." My friend and I looked at each other in disbelief. We told the guard we had reservations and he replied that the hotel was closed due to covid. 1. How come we were able to book 2 nights if the hotel was closed? 2. How come for 1.5 months, no one from the hotel reached out to us to let us know we wouldn't be able to stay there? The guard then handed us a printed sheet with several other hotels in the area to call. He said we were the SIXTH group to arrive that day, that he had to turn away. SIXTH! So we then we're left standing in the cold and wind trying to find another hotel. The guard was nice enough to allow us inside to start making calls, but their WIFI did not work and we had zero service inside so again we had to stand outside to find another hotel. Can you imagine if this happened in the middle of the night? We were able to book a room at The Williamsburg Hotel (very cute) about 10 minutes away which was in a better area of town and had a lot more going on. It was a blessing in disguise quite honestly. To end, what an inconvenience plus additional money we had to fork out due to Hotel Indigo's lack of communication and care for their customers. But a big thank you to that security man. Stayed one night at their standard king size room. I understand having a small room in Manhattan but in Brooklyn!??! Not acceptable for a brand like Indigo. Even my prior night at the Holiday Inn room in Manhattan was a bigger room than Indigo. Also, the room looks a bit outdated. At least this hotel has floor to ceiling windows that offer great views and the bathroom was pretty nice but only has a walk in shower. Also, the check in process for the free night that my co worker had given me took almost 20 minutes. Won't be coming back to this independently owned property. read more

Size: Claustrophobics, stay away! The single queen room--which goes for $300+ per night--is extraordinarily small. To give you a sense of scale, a queen bed is 60x80 inches; there was literally only 24 inches of space between the bed and the walls at the sides of the bed, and at the foot of the bed there was only 36 inches of space between the bed and the wall. I accumulated an impressive cluster of bumps and bruises from trying to navigate the furniture, doors and walls in this tiny space. Temperature: People who like comfy temperate rooms, stay away! My room was VERY difficult to climate control. It was either swampy hot and humid, or frigid. Cleanliness: Germaphobes, stay away! The bathroom was dingy and mildew ridden. I've never been so livid at a hotel before. At 10:30pm on 10/30 we tried to check-in for 4 people, they told me Expedia oversold them and they have 0 rooms. I used Chase Rewards and they use Expedia to book rooms. I've never had an issue with their booking system and I'm a long time Chase user. This is odd. Allegedly there were 12 more people coming in that night without rooms after us. That's odd because I called them 3 days earlier to make sure they were open and we actually have rooms. The gentleman on the phone very clearly the rooms are really nice and clean and available. I did that because I read that some people were denied check-in because they oversold and would send people away. I made sure that didn't happen by calling in advance. I should've listened to my gut and stayed away, but I got suckered-in because the price was reasonable and it looked like they cleaned it up really well. The picture showed a cute quirky boutique hotel and that was exactly what I was looking for. They also had good reviews prior to the pandemic. So I gave it a shot. Camille, the front desk person, said I did everything right by calling in advance, but Expedia oversold their rooms and they don't any available. I decided to pull up their very own IGH website, SAID THEY STILL HAVE ROOMS AVAILABLE. I showed her, she said she would call the manager, but obviously that didn't solve anything. She said I wasn't charged (that's not what my credit card said) and that she would work on relocating us to their sister hotels. I said ok. Stuff happens, I'm not upset at her. There were another couple also in the same boat. After about 30 minutes she came up with 2 hotels both in Manhattan. We would have to drive into the city, which we were trying to avoid. The first hotel only had 2 TWIN beds and the 2nd hotel had 1 queen available. I needed a room to fit 4 people without 2 of us sleeping on the floors. Their rates are also more expensive. That's just unacceptable, I requested she print me paperwork stating I've been denied check-in and let me go on my way. She said she can do that but I would have to wait until after she relocates the 12 people who don't have rooms. She couldn't figure out how to relocate me and my party, but now she CADN'T EVEN PRINT ME PAPER SAYING I WAS DENIED CHECK-IN. IT ONLY TAKES A FEW CLICKS. She ended up hand writing me a short sentence on a piece of sticky note. She told me to call expedia to call her and she will verify that they're out of rooms. SHOULDN'T YOU DO THE CALLING BECAUSE THAT'S YOUR JOB AND YOUR COMPANY MESSED UP? I was so fed up, I just booked another hotel nearby and of course at this point, ALL HOTELS ARE WAY MORE EXPENSIVE BECAUSE IT IS WAS A LAST MINUTE BOOKING ON A SATURDAY. I had to pay double. I had no other choice. It was late and we were tired. After checking in at a Marriot nearbyl (by this point it was already past midnight) I called Chase and they called Indigo Hotel to confirm what happened. CAMILLE STRAIGHT LIED AND TOLD THEM I HAD CHECKED-IN AND THEY RELOCATED ME. She lied. After a series of back and forth between me and Chase and then Chase calling them back, Chase finally refunded me for Indigo. I still paid double the amount for a room with 2 double beds (not 2 queens) at the Marriot nearby. HOTEL INDIGO IS ONLY HALF OPEN AND THE AREA IS REALLY BAD. Your typical New York/Brooklyn Hotel. Don't expect Texas-sized accommodations, because you're not in Texas. Expect necessities, expect scaffolding in the neighborhood, and expect people up and about at all hours of the night/day - - it's New York. Now, that you've had your wake up call, the hotel does a great job with space. I was a fan of the shower and especially the water pressure. The heating was perfect. I wasn't expecting a Smart TV, so that was a nice treat! A Keurig was also a nice surprise! There was, however, no room service, but they are attached to a restaurant and there are loads of places nearby to shop, eat, drink, and just have a stroll. Almost gave a three, but felt like that was a stretch. The rooms themselves are 3 stars, the rest of the hotel not so much. Room was fairly clean, but the absolute bare minimum. They felt cheap and kinda old. And the shower didn't drain well so I was constantly standing in an inch or so of water. Lobby felt dark and dirty, bathrooms in the lobby smelled like urine. All in all, it was quick enough to get in and out throughout the day, but NOTHING like it's presented on the website. Was pretty disappointed and expected more from an IHG boutique hotel. read more

Bare bones. Not much in the way of amenities. Even less due to covid. Some of the bonuses are cleanliness, location, comfortable beds, and free in room wifi. Room 1601 also had a nice view. The street in front is one way and with construction and 2 other hotels on the same street, traffic can get a bit clogged. The room had almost no decoration, was sterile and had no warmth or welcoming features. The double queen room was narrow but had a great sized bathroom. The location is an easy walk to restaurants(notable Xian famous foods), subway, and DUMBO. The price, and fact we were only in the room to sleep, made most of these shortcomings only minor inconveniences for us. read more

I had the pleasure of staying at your hotel over the weekend Had a great stay... on our departure, we found out that another occupant was stuck in the elevator. My fiancé who's licensed contractor, without hesitation, came to her aide... by prying the elevator door open, moved around the levers to have the elevator shaft open so the young lady could walk out. We then took the other elevator down to the main floor. She thanked us for (well him) for rescuing her as she was in there for hours. I was scared and nervous for her as well as him but so proud to see him do the right thing with no concern for his own safety. I just wanted to reach out and share the experience with you as I know that the hotel and its staff's number one concern is the safety of their patrons. After we booked the great Liberty Warehouse for our wedding, the challenge became which hotel nearby for our wonderful guests. The search became apparent after we found a hotel that met our 3 criteria: Location, Entertainment and Rate The hotel was nice and close to the venue. It was near public transportation and the rooms were very modern and comfortable. The suite was out of this world. Two bedrooms and a spacious living room. The bridal party loved it. In fact the 6 girls slept their quite comfortably and the morning rush on the day of the wedding allowed them to get ready in various corners of the hotel suite. Entertainment at the hotel was a must for the after party! The connected Brooklyn Brewhouse is not only a perfect venue, they have an upstairs private space with its own bar! We even had large dishes of food and our own bartender. It was perfect. The bulk wedding rate was very reasonable. I forget the details now but you need to guarantee about 75% of your blocked rooms are reserved within a month of your wedding or you foot the bill. We ended up going well over the number of blocked rooms and the hotel management was extremely accommodating to our party! The price per room was around $180 after taxes and fees. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The only complaint might be the street parking is impossible around the hotel and it's difficult to find somewhere to pull over. One of the staff found us though and when they found out we were staying in the hotel, watched our car for us as we unloaded. Thank you hotel indigo! read more

Grime, Mold and Disrepair... Those are the ONLY three words I can associate with Hotel Indigo in Brooklyn after my 2 night-stay this week. I was stuck there because it was Labor Day but switched hotels asap! 1. Have you ever seen MOLD growing OUT OF a handheld shower-head? Neither had I until I stayed here! The stuff was in every corner of the shower and on the surface of the surround behind the shower-head. Ugh! There was BLACK MOLD growing on the bath mat. Like how does housekeeping miss THAT?! (Pics posted) 2. There were also brownish yellow splashes on the backsplash over the toilet and by the sink. I shudder to think what it may have been. The wood laminate floors also had not been swept given the visible hair balls. 3. The lights either didn't work due to blown bulbs or were completely dismantled. I wish Yelp let me give 0 stars; CANNOT believe @IHG remains affiliated with this place! read more

My boyfriend and I stayed here during our trip to Brooklyn and had a comfy stay. I booked this hotel with my Chase points. The staff was very friendly and allowed us to check-in early since we came off red eye flights from California. They held our bags until a room was available for us. Check-in was easy and our room was comfortable. Loved the view outside our window. The room was modern but be mindful that it is pretty small. Barely had room for our luggage and us. Also wish that our room had a small fridge for us. Great location and easy to walk around the Downtown area. The staff is very friendly. Def recommend if you're visiting Brooklyn and want an affordable room. read more

I was able to enjoy my stay from Dec. 5 - 7, 2016, visiting my cousin on the East coast. The rooms were small but everything was well up to date, well maintained, and clean- just like how I seen and read on Yelp, so nothing was a surprise. Other than the noisy construction outside early in the morning (outside of staff's control), I was very impressed with the stay. It's downtown Brooklyn, so it's the nice and safe area of the city. Close to convenient stores, subways, restaurants, etc. Pricey, but hey it is the city. There is a small chill bar (they call it a brewhouse) attached to the bottom of the hotel. Lots of tv screens, and in the back there is a lounge area with electrical fireplaces. Food was on point for me, although my cousin's husband said his pizza was very oily. Wasn't impressed with the horse radish they use in their Bloody Mary mix *gags* and their shot glasses were TINY, but our young waitress made sure to not spill any over the top as she carefully handed it to me. She was sweet and attentive, so yes overall experience still landed her over 20% tips. In our bedroom, there was a giant chandelier art on the ceiling... that was different, not tacky at all but wasn't really impressed either. Beds and pillows were comfy, nice floor to ceiling windows, and fabulous thick curtains to keep the sun light out in the morning. Bathrooms had a nice stone arch at the top which was kind of cool looking. At least the bathroom was a little bit bigger than what I expected. The lighting for women isn't all that great though, but maybe it's because I'm a perfectionist when it comes to doing make-up especially right before heading on a night out. Some hotels have little vanity mirrors with better lighting but hey, I can't complain I got a good selfie. Lol. Should have taken more pics of the hotel for Yelp purposesm though. Staff was great, courteous and friendly. I must mention a star player by the name of Jonathan at the front desk. Both nights I believe he worked graveyard as my cousin and I would come in and out late in the night. He was very knowledgeable- not only about the amenities but about the area in general and we took in some of recommendations. One time I went outside in my pajamas and coat just to smoke a cigarette. I think he saw my cousin and I walk out far in the cold, and he reminded me about the outside balcony. That saved me a long elevator ride up and down the hotel, the long walk, and having to bump into people in my pajamas, lol. I appreciated that. This place is is not good. My room is tiny....I get it, it's Brooklyn, but this room is small. Also, their walk-in shower looks nice, however was not constructed properly, therefore will flood your entire bathroom. Hotel Indigo Brooklyn has clearly got the cosmetic improvements down, however, is in need of actual improvements to make it live-able. Not recommended. Pay more and stay across the street! read more

I give it 3 stars due to the good location of this establishment. The rooms are not clean at all, several of the decor pieces are dented and give it a very undesirable place to spend the night. To make things worse there are flies in the room and we have, UNFORTUNATELY, booked it for 4 nights. Please look for hotels that offer better amenities in the area, this is not what we read on yelp, trip advisor and such places. read more

I am only giving this 4 stars because it does not have the amenities of a Marriott such as complimentary breakfast, but the location compared to the Marriott Brooklyn Bridge is alot better, just a few steps to several subway stations. The room I reserved initially was a tiny one queen bed room, however, wonderful Christel from the front desk upgraded me to a room with two queen beds, narrow but very spacious, clean and modern. So, if you are claustrophobic, avoid the very tiny 'one queen bed' room. Overall, I am happy with my stay here, everything is walking distance such as the Fulton Mall, a nice grocery store (Brooklyn Fare) and a fairly large gym (Planet Fitness) just a few steps from the hotel. Although, I would not stay at this part of town when I am in New York for pleasure, but this location is safe enough and just a few train stops (#2) to my client. The price per night is also 1/2 the price per night for the Marriott Brooklyn Bridge or even the Sheraton across the street and since I am building my IHG status, I'll stay here the duration of my project. read more

I loved this place. I am learning more and more, Indigo properties are my style. Let's address a couple common complaints: 1. The room is small. YES, it is. You're in Brooklyn and if you get a rate similar to what we got, well, you take that small room do a song and dance that you could get something at that price, and then settle in, tight as it may be. 2. The neighborhood. I always have a thing against this complaint. Neighborhoods are complex and you're in the midst of a vibrant urban environment. So yes, it's not Beverly Hills. Again though- did you pay a Beverly Hills rate? I liked the area- super close to the subway, some good eats around the corner, and the street we were located on was nice and quiet. So the goods: 1. Staff. Everyone we worked with was on top of their game. Loved it! 2. The room. It was small but it was good! The bed was SO comfy and the Aveda shampoo and soap- great touch! 3. The ceiling. Weird, I know. But ours was super cool because it had a beautiful photo on it. 4. Location. I really enjoy Brooklyn. You're one stop from Manhattan, but the pace of life is more to my liking here than being in the middle of Manhattan. 5. Price. For us at least, it was a steal! read more

Pros: Price, friendly staff, nearby subway (Jay St. Station), Barclays Center is a 5 min Uber ride, Brooklyn Bridge is right around the corner, Junior's is couple of blocks away (get the strawberry cheesecake!), Shake Shack is couple of blocks away, they have free wi-fi here, free coffee and tea in the lobby, coffee maker in the room, you can adjust the temperature in your room, comfy big bed, big flat screen, a good size mini fridge, big enough closet for two people, a nice warm decor, good lighting, the mirror in the room, great hospitality, can catch a Uber in 60 seconds, Forever 21, H&M, Macy's, Planet Fitness, Footlocker, and couple of other stores is a 2 min walk down the street. Cons: Small shower and the pillows could have been better. This place is awesome!!!!! Naomi is a sweetheart!!!!! She helped us on what attractions are nearby and how to get there. She was also in a secret with my GF to surprise me with champagne and balloons for my birthday when I got back to the room. Totally caught me off guard. Anything you need, she's the right person to talk to. Jonathan is thee guy!!! He worked late nights so we always see him when we got back to the hotel and he makes sure the hotel is secured. Nobody gets through Hotel Indigo unless you have a hotel room card and if you're hungry, talk to this guy. He makes sure you don't go to sleep hungry. He recommends some good places to grab some food at 2am. Overall, I would definitely come back here!!! Nice room, comfy bed, nice closet, a good size mini fridge to store cold drinks before you start your day around New York City, a nice flat big screen TV to check the weather and what's going on in sports, beautiful big mirror to make sure you don't have anything between your teeth, nice lighting, just a nice warm room, and of course, a great friendly helpful staff!!! The only bad thing about the hotel would be the small shower and the pillows. The pillows could be better. The pillows were just too flat for me. read more

First time staying at a smaller hotel and I loved it! Check in was a breeze! I was able to park my car outside and unload before I self parked. They have valet for $49/day or $25/day self park at the lot around the corner. Not a long walk at all so it was definitely worth half the price. The room was a bit smaller than I'm use to but everything was brand new and immaculate. The beds were so comfortable with cute reading lights attached to the headboards. Great ammenities included: HDTV with cable, complimentary wifi, in room keurig and tazo tea, lather products in the bathroom. Since the hotel has only been open for a week the bar and restaurant was not open yet. But there are so many restaurants and bars in the area. Service is still a little iffy but within a month all of the little nuances should be tweaked out. They have car service available but later found out that the price was double of other car services in the area. All in all it was a great pick for the area. I only stayed one night for a wedding in the BK. read more

This is one of the smallest hotel rooms I have ever seen. You can't even walk around if you have anything slightly out from the wall or desk. The heat is lacking. I had to turn the heat up to 78 to get even close to 70. The desk they provide is just big enough for a laptop and little else. The bathroom had stains on the wall. I am not sure from what. The faucet has water saving nozzles on it, bit waiting 10 minutes for hot water doesn't seem to be very conserving much water. The bed, however was very nice with down comforters. I did sleep well after I got under the covers to get warm. They also were one of the hotels for FEMA to house the hurricane victims, so they do get points for that. However, I hope Priceline doesn't choose this one again. read more

Made reservations for 2 nights because I was visiting the city for an interview. Hotel staff is very kind. We arrived before our check-in time but after waiting for a bit they gave us a room on a top floor. It's a NYC hotel for sure. Small rooms. Very clean and well taken care of. It's certainly inconvenient having no closet. Room is small but the view is nice. Unfortunately we couldn't find a functioning ice machine. read more

The front desk girls were super friendly when we arrived for check in, they put us in a great corner room on the 18th floor with some really nice views. The room was very neat and clean, with great amenities- Aveda products, cubbyholes to store stuff, etc. it was a cozy room, but there's a bar downstairs and a lounge area inside and a rooftop deck for being social. There is construction going on nearby, but I say yay for progress. We used the valet for parking because it was easy. read more
