It's an ok hotel. The staff is really great. They speak English, but it would be nice if you at least tried to speak French. Please be mindful that you are in their country/patria so please attempt to speak French. The elevator is smaller than a bathroom stall; so you'll need to send your luggage up to your floor and possibly have your partner, mate, etc. on said floor to retrieve it from the elevator. You can fit two people on the elevator but it will be a tight, and I mean tight, fit. If you're an American, don't expect the free breakfast every morning like we have here, they charge you 14 Euros per person. A bit extreme in my opinion so my wife and I just ate at Cafe Custine, or another cafe in the area. The rooms are sweltering in the summer heat due to the fact that NONE of the rooms have air conditioning. They come with one fan but if you ask for another it shouldn't be a problem. Opening the windows does alleviate some of the heat but then you have to contend with mopeds and traffic noise outside. The shower is small, I had to step out to wash my legs. I'm only 6'1. They don't have, or at least didn't provide us with, small face cloths so you'll end using a long towel on its place. The floor in our room was a bit sticky so I just stuck to wearing my Nike slides around the room and in the shower. So if your trip is jam packed with tourism and other things that will keep you out of the room,it's an ok/doable hotel. You can also get them to call you a taxi to take you to the airport upon your departure. 50 Euros for the ride if you're wondering. read more
