I had never been in this store until recently. Luckily Boulder now has so many brand specific stores on the Pearl Street Mall, I can see these items in person and try them on. This is preferable to me than just buying online and ending up needing to return what does not fit or live up to the description. I headed in and asked about the jacket I thought I wanted. The very friendly staff member gave me advice on size based oh her own purchase, but I learned that jacket had not been shipped to the local retail stores. She offered to order it for me to be shipped to my home with no shipping charge. I have learned that many of my local stores are set up to do this. So whenever I want something online that has a physical store in town, I use "in person" order if they do not stock it though often it is stocked. And if it does not workout, these stores are happy to take it back in person too. Which sadly is what I had to do today. It arrived when I was out of town but I had taken a warmer jacket with me on the trip and it turned that was a good call this spring. When I walked in the same staff member recognized me and immediately said hello. She took the return easily and asked if I was still looking. She said about 3 days after I had been in previously, a different jacket has come in and she thought it was more like what I might want. She pulled one off the rack in size S for me and it was exactly what I wanted. The fit and color were perfect. I did the return and bought the better choice which was only a little more expensive. I know I will wear it for years.

The reason why I put two-stars for this review is because of how the store attendants treated me and my partner. We visited over the weekend, and we found it strange that all parties that entered the store before and after us were greeted, while we were ignored. When we walked in, the store attendants actually averted their eyes and avoided any eye contact. It was just really strange. What was different from us versus the other store guests? That we were people of color, and everyone else was white, including the staff. I understand that Colorado isn't as diverse as other states, but I'm shocked that I'd experience adversity at a clothing store that advocates "Do Good" as their motto. I shop Old Navy all the time so I was super happy that they put in an outlet. Alas I am somewhat…read moredisappointed. First the store is a mess. I would expect this during a seasonal rush but not a snowy day with not a lot of people. The aisles are so cramped if this not your first stop you may not be able to look at certain items as a bag would prohibit you getting to the item. Second, the pricing tags are missing on over half the racks so those sale prices are your best guess. Boy did I screw up on a sweater, it cost more than any other single item I have ever bought from Old Navy none outlet included. Finally, the staff was non-existent except for the three cashiers. So if you are looking for something specific i.e. leggings or tunic cami your on your own. I hope this is just a fluke of new store blues as they haven't even been open a month, but I may just stick to the non outlet for now.
