Last week, I walked in especially needy. Once I made it to the dressing room, where I had waaaay too many asks (sizes, special order items not in stock, etc.) and spent waaaay too much time. And once I was finally finished, headed to check out--after the store had officially closed, no less!--remembering: "Shoot! I forgot I needed to return these 2 items I originally came in with--oh, and can you apply that to store credit instead of original payment method?"--(they did.) I worked in retail for years and was well aware of the level of nightmare customer I was presenting. The manager & her co-worker, Gemma & Caroline treated my special order struggles like a personal mission -- and then straight-up stayed open past close just to make sure I got it right. No "we close in five minutes" death stare, no clock-watching, just genuine "we've got you" energy the whole time. This Anthro store -- with Gemma & Caroline at the helm -- gave me the patience, expertise, and kind of customer service--full send--like it was no big deal? Often though, I have to order something online to get the petite size but at least I can get a sense of the item from the regular sized stock. They are using less natural fibers than they used to. Many tops that used to be all cotton, or cotton with a little spandex for shape are now being made with some polyester blend, which I cannot wear because of sensitivity. The people in this store are exceptionally nice and helpful, and though the Boulder store is so much closer, I prefer to shop here. The whole experience is better.

Ok , so it's that time when duty calls and I have to search for and decide on a new pair of…read moreworkboots. Fortunately my employer pitched and provided me with a voucher as one of thier benefits. I attempted to go to the location in Brighton last week but unfortunately there was only one associate working and there were 3-4 potential customers ahead of me so I opted for the Thornton location, this week to give it another go. I walked just after opening and was greeted by Ms. Sandra. Who also winded up being my consultant on picking a new pair of boots. I explained my working conditions and what was important to me in a boot. After listening to my needs she walked me over to the for possibly lack of the correct term "fit right" analization area/ system. This system measures both feet and than you perform a walk test to see how your feet actually walk and make contact with the ground therefor enabling them to provide inserts for your boots/ hikers if needed. After that we discussed which boots would be best for my feet and working conditions. She explained the pros and cons of particular boots and I selected a free different ones to try on, she willing went to the back to check stock and returned for the try-on process. During this process I was fortunate enough to have the attention of both consultants Sandy and Travis, as I was the only customer for a brief period. They both willing answered all my questions and offered additional information that I did not think to ask. Even the different brands that they carried including Worx, Irish Setter, and Red Wing . Comparable on a grading scale as to good,better , and Best. They also offer many accessories including socks,gloves,hats and any and all maintenance needs for the upkeep of your new boots/shoes, plus many other items I did not mention. So in the end would I recommend? , most definitely! But I would recommend to set aside some time to really take a look and ask questions and try on different styles and be open to thier knowledge and expertise because to be honest, going in I wasn't going to buy the inserts because I've had them before and didn't think they did much to help but just thinking about it and listening to them both I figured why could it hurt because they do give you 30 days to return them if you don't think they are working out . So what's the harm? But it's all up to you. But trust your judgment as I did listen to them but pick your boots because they are your feet.

When you walk in, you give them your name and they let you know approximately how long the wait will be while they help the customers already there. They told us about a 5-minute wait, but I was looking around at the shoes and the time flew by. The lady who helped us was super nice and really knew her stuff. I had several questions about the different shoe models, and she was able to explain the differences and help me choose the right shoe for me. Having someone knowledgeable there made the decision so much easier. The entire experience took maybe 15 minutes, and I was back out the door and on my way to my next errand. Great customer service, knowledgeable staff, and a quick and painless shopping experience!

The On team and the Road Runner teams worked well together and put on a great time to the local running community. Be sure to give them a follow on community events and participate. Well worth the pop through and they have a multi-day community driven run club if you need differing miles options (currently Thur / Sat).

I also commisioned some long staple egyptian cotton dress shirts. He carefully measured them and they fit perfectly. Satorial bliss. Of course, they must be ironed. I actually enjoy making perfectly ironed pleats I am not your typical clientele for such a store. I had to use my tax refund for such luxurious good looking attire. I remember in the 70s paying $40 a shirt here. $125 for slacks. My have times changed. That would barely pay for a tie these days. Still the shirt broker is much more affordable than a lot of bespoke shops. If you can't afford it don't shop there instead of carping. Or save up. A behaviour quite foreign to todays generation.

I hate to give a bad review to any custom clothing shop in Denver because there are so very few to…read morechoose from. At this point I've tried just about all of the establishments I felt were worth trying. Unfortunately, of all the places I've tried, this place comes in last. First of all they outsource their shirt making to Chinese company! I did find this out up front but I figured I'd give it a shot any way. They have an unimpressive selection of "standard" fabrics that start at around $150 but they stipulate a 3 shirt minimum. I ended up ordering 2 made to measure from their higher quality shirts with no minimum at $300+ a piece which isn't outrageous for a quality garment. Sadly the final product was anyting but quality. Turns out there's nothing more disappointing than paying 300 bucks for a shirt with a tag that says "made in China". To top it off the finished shirts had fused cuffs and collars and no split yoke. For the uninformed, those aren't quality attributes. The fit of the shirt was actually pretty good and was the only redeeming factor. The cuffs were 2 inches too big but fixable. When they took initial measurements I asked for a shirt that was short enough that I could wear untucked. An easy enough request for every other shirt maker I've worked with. Unfortunately they didn't compensate and lengthen the rise of the side of the shirt when shortening the overall length. What I ended up with was 600 dollars in shirts that looked ridiculous untucked, yet the sides weren't long enough to tuck in. When I asked what it would take to make it right I was basically told I could buy two more shirts. So instead of just redoing the shirts their remedy was to add a couple "patches" to the sides of the shirts so they will stay tucked in. Now at least they're wearable but it's pretty shoddy work at the price point. To top it off this whole ordeal took over three months to complete. I did give two stars because the shirt did fit pretty good but I just can't recommend this place. With places in China like www.jantzentailor.com that sell made to measure shirts for around 50 bucks there's really no reason to pay someone here in town an extra 100 to 250 bucks to take your measurements. After spending quite a bit of money trying out a handful of places around town I can make the following recommendations. At Concord Custom Shop and Tailor in Cherry Creek (303-399-0557) you can get quality made to measure shirts that are made in the USA starting at $150 to $200 with no minimum I believe. At about the $300 price point, at Andrisen Morton in Cherry Creek (303-377-8488) you can get very nice Omega shirts which are made in Canada or for a little more they also offer Hamilton shirts which are very nice and made here in the USA. Ask for Bob. He's the man. For the very discerning gentleman and clothing connoisseur Evan DeLaney (www.evandelaney.com) will come to your home or office and offers true custom hand made shirts that range anywhere from $350 on up. He also offers a made to measure line that starts under $200 I believe.

Very rarely does something fit me here and when I do find something that looks good and is a good value because it is on sale, it often does not hold up well. Or certainly not as well as I would like. Often, sweaters shed or pill and other items look tired too soon, no matter how much care I take. And in this store, I find that the full price is too much for the quality of the product. There are stores I gladly pay a higher, full price since my size is often gone before they hit clearance and the quality of the item is really worth it. I did buy something on this last visit that I am hoping will serve me well. It fit well and was the sort of skirt I have been looking for all year. And it was a 40% off all merchandise day. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful and the store is attractive and the dressing rooms always clean. Those are all wins in my life.
