Period on at the store and thought might as well get a little bit of money back. Honestly, it's a joke to be selling to these stores nowadays but I just happened to be in the area which is why I decided to go in. It looked like they barely looked at my bag. In the end, they only bought 4 out of i'd say about 50 items for $16, including a pair of brand new Birkenstocks that I wore once. The attendants are nice enough and i'd sure they say they offer "competitive pricing", but you're better off just selling on facebook.

All these years, I have never shopped at Macy's…read more I must admit that I'm a big fan of K***'s, but lately, I just can seem to find clothes there for me. It seems like their quality has gone down hill, and Ouch! that hurts to say that too! Yes, I'm "older" now, and many of the fashions that they carry are for the "younger" crowd. I no longer wish to dress like I was in my 20's, and haven't done so for at least 30 years (if you do the math, you've figured out about how old I am, but I do look good for my age, if I say so myself!). So, after having shopped around, I decided that I'd give Macy's a try. I walked into the store, hoping, wishing, praying, that I'd find something there for me. WOW! I walked all around the women's department. Rather, I walked around the departments that were for the "more mature women!" Anyway, I started pulling clothes off the racks, and walking, and pulling more clothes, and walking, and pulling more clothes, and walking. I had not realized how many I had, when one of the sales associates saw me, and suggested that she start a dressing room for me. I laughed, and let her take the many outfits out of my hands and arms. After walking around more, I finally made my way back to the fitting room, and started trying on clothes. As I said when I first started, I had never shopped at Macy's before, so I didn't know what their styles, sizes, and quality of clothing would be like, or if they would fit me. I was in "unchartered territory!" Well, after spending quite a bit of time, trying this and that on, I came out with quite a few new items that will greatly improve my wardrobe, and a new department store that is now my "main, go to" store! If you are looking for quality, good clothing, excellent sales associates, and just a pleasant place to shop, I'd suggest Macy's! WOW! Can't believe I'm saying that!

The fashion trend of ugly not-quite-3/4-sleeves is one way they save about $2 per garment on material, times sell about 100,000 of each style (just for example) x $2 = another $200,000 in their pocket. Size 4 with horizontal stripes? Are you kidding me? And necklines so deep we have started to call the store "Cheap Ho's." Really - just wish they could have decent clothing that doesn't look like my grandmother's drapes, and better workmanship so they last more than one season. And of course - those hideous sleeves.
