There were a few other people there shopping but she was attentive to everyone. She asked my daughter if there was a particular color or style she was looking for and then she instantly started pulling some dresses based on what she thought would work. Her selections were spot on. We loved all the dresses, but agreed that the very first one she tried on was the one! We were so impressed with her sense of style, awesome customer service, and professional yet down to earth demeanor. We will never go anywhere without starting here to look for a dress! We paid for the dress and then she had my daughter pose with a cute "I said yes to the dress" sigh, which was an adorable touch! We will be back!

ALL PHOTOS attached below…read more I had a great experience at JCPenney on Saturday, 29 April 2023. JCPenney BEAUTY -- I bought a pack of 6 eye masks which I've always wanted to own. They are from the brand 'Wander Beauty'. I tried one of the pairs this morning (1 May) and after keeping them on for about 16 mins, my under-eyes felt very hydrated and fresh. They also sell men's products too. This review is mostly for JCPenney Beauty which is located inside the JCPenney store where I had a wonderful experience browsing and learning about this new beauty venture at JCPenney. Sephora used to be located at JCPenney but that partnership ended and JCPenney decided to create their own beauty brand. Sarah, the JCBPenney Beauty Sales Associate was really pleasant and exceptionally helpful. She answered my friend and I's questions. BEAUTY BRANDS -- There are so many brands to choose from with a majority being from JCPenney Beauty and Thirteen Lune. Thirteen Lune is a female black-owned company that sells beauty products from small black-owned businesses. There are also many other brands from minority business owners such as Jason Wu (Asian). I recommend JCPenney Beauty because they carry plenty of products for black people which is sometimes hard to find in the bigger beauty stores. I will definitely be back to the beauty store at JCPenney. JCPENNEY DRESSES -- Right now, JCPenney has partnered with celebrity designer, Prabal Gurung, for an exclusive line of clothing. The designer is from Nepal but he moved to America years ago. His line with JCPenney is an inclusive line so it is more affordable than his usual $800-$2500 pieces. My friend bought me a cute Prabal Gurung dress which is currently on sale for under $60 (photos of his dresses attached). I highly suggest you browse in-store or online if you are looking for a cute party dress or wedding dress. **** - 55/150 total reviews in 2023 - 606 total overall Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 1 May 2023

I am so glad my friend and I stumbled upon this absolutely lovely boutique which has turned me into a loyal follower. My style is very specific. I like bold colors, body inclusive styles, American made, and unique pieces. Its like Belle Soiree was curated especially for me by a local business owner with flawless taste. The owner, Kim, is phenomenal. While my friend grabbed a few tunics for me to try on, Kim knew my style immediately and made excellent suggestions to try on. I even ended up buying one! It has quickly become my favorite tunic and I tell everyone about Belle Soiree. The boutique is impeccably curated, filled with gorgeous treasures and is the perfect place to put together a classy outfit for any occasion. There are many boutiques in the shopping area Belle Soiree is in, but this one stands out above the rest. It carries real people sizes, timeless styles and quality American designers. During our visit, the woman working there made an unsolicited comment about my mother's body, telling her she was "too skinny." Regardless of someone's size, I don't think employees should be commenting negatively on a customer's body or weight while they're shopping. It made the experience uncomfortable and was completely unnecessary. She kept saying we can share outfit and one size fits all.. Afterward, I discovered that the bracelet appears to be jasper indian agate, while VTrendz website itself literally has bracelets specifically advertised as Jade for around 9$ on their website. I would not have paid $25 for this bracelet had I known I was purchasing a different stone Between the inappropriate comment toward my mother and the concerns surrounding how my purchase was represented, I'm extremely disappointed with this experience. I'm requesting that VTrendz make this right with a refund and clarify exactly what was sold to me. Customers should be able to shop without having their bodies commented on and should be able to trust that merchandise is accurately represented.
