I emailed customer service for a replacement under their "quality service guarantee" and they claim it works just fine as a cup so there's no replacement. There is no reason the color should be peeling after 3 months and it's basically unable to be used due to shedding of color/lining. All customer service responses take 10 days to receive, so nothing gets resolved. Horrible customer service and crappy guarantee!

I could come to Anthro every day and still find something new to delight me. A friend told me that I court clothing - that I form a relationship with things before I purchase them - and it's all because of Anthropologie. Everything at Anthro is so unique, so different and with better details than I can find anywhere else I shop. I adore the mix of boho, vintage, feminine styles. My only problem with this place is having to choose between everything I want! The sale room is located in the back, right corner of the store. It's small, and you always end up having to shuffle around the other shoppers (which can be annoying) - but you can typically net some pretty great stuff, at a reasonable price (in comparison to the regular 'wow, this is expensive' prices). As a side note, I usually hate when dressing room staff brings you clothing without being asked to - but at Anthro, it's always worked out well. Some of my favorite things in my closet are Anthropologie staff picks, which I wouldn't have looked at if they hadn't persuaded me to try them on.

I tend to stop in to check out their unique trove of baubles and clothing any time I cross the path of one of these boutiques. So during a stroll through my new neighborhood, I popped into the Cameron Village location, and at first all seemed peachy. I was greeted cheerfully by a voice behind the counter and I called back a hello and started wading through colorful scarves and dresses. And then my shopping experience took a nose dive. I was just browsing and didn't need much in the way of assistance. Still - I could have done without the two young sales associates complaining *loudly* about a guest who'd just left. The young man (crap - I'm getting old) referred to the woman a b*tch trying to cause him trouble and gave an elegant soliloquy to the entire store highlighting his desire to slap her should she return. Nice dude. Real classy. Then, a young girl came out of the dressing room in a dress and wondered out loud if they might have any belts to go with it. The two associates (now sitting on the counter together, thumbs ablazing on their cell phones) pointed vaguely to the back. No one hopped up to show her exactly where they were? Maybe pick out a couple that might look fantastic with her dress?? Sonuva... this girl and her mother were out to drop some benjamins on a new wardrobe. The girl wanted the belt off a mannequin, but was being completely ignored (I got the distinct feeling they didn't want to go through the trouble of removing it for her). At any rate, I'm (not so) secretly hoping the owner gets her eyes on this review and keeps a closer watch on what's going on in her boutique. This was an unbelievable case of tacky customer service, and I'd hate to let something like that turn guests off to this cool little boutique.

But when the sales associate scanned them, they rang up at $228.00. The sales associate initially said the sale price was only for handbags. But I grabbed the sneaker myself and showed her that the $159.20 sale price was clearly marked on the sneaker itself. This proved that the pricing on the merchandise wasn't just for handbags and made things even more confusing The associate said she couldn't honor the marked sale price even though it was right there on the sneakers. She first offered a 20% discount off the $228.00 price, but when I brought up my military discount, the 20% discount became 10%. . As a loyal and frequent customer of both your retail and outlet stores, I am very disappointed. I think customers should be able to trust the prices marked on merchandise and that pricing mistakes from administrative errors should be fixed in favor of the customer

She isn't there every time I have gone in, and the experience is better without her. She seemed very standoffish and was short with me at checkout. Very unapproachable. HELLO, this is retail. On another note, the lighting in the fitting rooms is excruciatingly bad. I feel like I have gained 10 lbs every time I look in the mirror. It is very unflattering and often causes me to put the items I tried on back.
