Kristen and Nyallie were extremely pleasant. The store had good lighting, super clean and organized as always. There was a wide selection of clearance items to pick from. I also spotted a few new athletic sneakers that I am considering for my next purchase. All of what I saw were reasonable prices. I had returns and I was able to find a comfy Clark branded low heel sandal. I enjoy this DSW location compared to Sumner & Crossroads. The store offers weekly shoe donations and customers can obtain 50 pts. I always forget about this. I learned today that DSW also offers water proofing services for a charge. This is perfect for suede or Uggs. A great service I'm glad I now know about. The staff here are extremely pleasant, helpful and leave a lasting impression after each visit. This was not my first time visiting this location and definitely not my last. This 5* review is well overdue. I hope the staff here are acknowledged for a job well done. Thank you!

I love Adidas and needed a new fitness shoe to compliment my adidas wardrobe. The Ozelle is similar to a balenciaga style sneaker that offers cushion with cloud foam that is trendy, retro, colorful, supportive and lightweight. The cashier was very helpful and ready to check me out. I perused the sales floor and saw many styles that were overpriced and way out of budget for the brand. Know your prices before shopping here.

I spent a significant amount of time in the store and made eye contact with several staff members. It wasn't until it became closer to closing that one staff walked over to me to let me know that they would be closing in 10 minutes. How rude?! "No, hello. Let me know if I can help with anything." The staff here interact with each other and never the customers. I took my money to Dick's next door. Two stars for the clean and organized store, which is the only positive here.

Shopping for children with growing feet can be challenging online. We made a purchase online for a pair of Under Armor Basketball performance sneakers. The shoes were way too narrow in a men's size so we had to find a local Shoe Carnival. We traveled from Raleigh and found the staff at this store friendly and courteous. Sam was the gentleman who manages the store and he helped us out. The cashier was also kind and professional. The store layout was organized and tidy. They carry a large selection of sizes and styles. I used my $10 off coupon and saved. Thanks Sam.

I stumbled upon Rack Room while searching for a new pair of athletic shoes. They carry a nice selection of New Balance and Nike. They also have a sweet daily BOGO deal where you can always score two pairs of shoes. I needed to return a pair that didn't fit me and Briar Creek is closest to home. They staff member helped quickly with my return and issued me a store credit gift card. I purchased a leopard print Alta pair of Nike which is there Air Force 1 style with a chunky platform. I came to Raleigh from Oklahoma for a conference and inadvertently left my dress shoes at home,…read moremaking boots my only option to wear with a suit. "Rough-looking" is a massive understatement for the condition of my boots, so I went to Ealdwine for some shoe polish, and saw that the product had changed quite a bit over the past few years. I had a few questions about leather conditioner, how much polish to use, etc. (stuff like that), and Mr. Gray took the time to show me everything, on my boots at that. The difference is tremendous, and I'm not JUST talking about how my boots look now. For a business owner to take time out of his day, literally get his hands dirty, and go to such lengths for a customer who might come to Raleigh every five years or so... It speaks volumes about Mr. Gray as a person and business owner. I'm now more informed, equipped with some really good polish, and won't feel so embarrassed about wearing beat-up boots with a suit. Another cool thing, assuming most will be looking/shopping for more than shoe polish, the store's beautifully designed, and chockablock with some of the finest in men's clothing and beautiful footwear. Mr. Gray personally helped with the design in many of the latter (Alden's handmade in Massachusetts), so I definitely feel like I was in good hands, and had definitely come to the right place. Great owner. Top notch products. Perfect service. Great experience.
