Portion size is generous (small is plenty), food is prepared in front of you and all of the ingredients look freshly prepared. The atmosphere is comfortable ... My wife got a good deal on gift certificates at Costco so we have been there several times. The food is fantastic, even a small fills me up. The place is always super clean, and I mentioned that to the gentleman who always seems to be cleaning. It is so peaceful and relaxing unlike Panera. Food here is just ok. In my opinion... $9 for a moderately filled wrap is raping and pillaging. Staff also practices the Subway style of putting toppings on sandwiches - one of this, a minuscule pinch of that; they are NOT generous with toppings. Do not come here for breakfast... Just tried this for the first time this week, we got the steak and cheese large panini with a bag of chips and that was plenty to share for lunch with two big eaters. I can't wait to try all of their other sandwiches and even the build your own option. Their desserts look amazing... And have to be tried- brown butter Rice cereal treat? Oreo brownie bar? Went in around 8pm, they close at 9.. The place was very quiet. They were out of a few things. The place was spotless. Nice little fireplace in the corner. Everything looks brand new. Similar to of of the other Hot Tables in Springfield. It is like a combo coffee shop and sandwich shop. They do breakfast, coffees, pastry, etc along with lunch / dinner items. The Paninis come in 2 sizes and there are quite a few. The small is somewhat small, but the large is very large. They also have a combo small and soup that seems just right. Hot Table has about 6 different salads, some soups, and related items. They had Mac n Cheese the day I was there except they ran out. The staff was a little quirky, but they are new so Ill forget that. The food was delicious and pretty quick. It was also a good value, priced right. Its definitively a Panera killer in my book. My husband hits this place for lunch at least twice a week. Every once in a while I get to tag along. The place is clean the food is fresh. This is one of the only places in town that offers gluten free bread. I usually have the pepper steak sandwich with a small side salad. The humongous chocolate chip cookies are totally worth the calories. Oh and they have soy milk for your java. Bonus! read more

I love this place! It's clean, the service is good, and the food is fantastic. Its also priced pretty reasonably for what you get. The large size panini is more than enough, typically just the small size panini with some chips fills me up for lunch. It's easy to customize your sandwich however you want and they have a good variety of toppings to add on. They also have a good selection of soups & baked treats as well. I literally can't say enough good things about Hot Table. One of my favorite places. I recommend it to everyone from out of town and always bring my visiting family members here. Steak and cheese panini and turkey panini are my favorites. I have never had a bad experience here and don't foresee you having one either. A little pricey but so worth it. read more

Fresh food, many choices, clean restaurant. Good selection and great sandwiches/wraps. I'm not a huge fan of the soups/sides, but that's not why I go there. Suggested they cater a company event in Enfield and all the employees kept asking me where they were located. My sister and I stopped at the Enfield location; it was a first for both of us. She had the caprese panini and I had a wheat wrap (chicken pesto with olives & I asked for roasted peppers, too). We were both very pleased. It was a little awkward at first though because we asked if the yogurt parfaits were available even though it was past breakfast time. We were told we should be able to get them since they had everything to make them but we had to check with the cashier. The cashier was adamant that it wasn't possible and there was a little back and forth between the two. We were not able to get the parfaits (ended up feeling badly for the employee who thought we could because the other one wouldn't let it go and told him several times that it's the policy...). The food was good. I do think yogurt parfaits should be available throughout the day though. read more

I've been to Hot Table many times and it's by far my favorite sandwich shop. Much better than D'Angelo or Subway! Similar style of set-up: you choose a menu sandwich and customize it to your liking. I nearly always get the steak & cheese which is amazing! The meat is good and the toppings are perfect! Their cookies and baked goods are amazing too! Drove by there a few times curious, sign outside says Hot Panini, but went inside and built a steak and cheese Panini and my son had the Mac and Cheese and we were all happy! The chocolate Chip cookies are HUGE and were a great dessert. We will definitely return! read more

My husband and I love going to this restaurant when we are in Enfield, about 20 minutes from where we live. We are vegetarians and have a difficult time finding restaurants that have a variety of vegetarian options. There are plenty here - sandwiches, soups and salads. I was surprised to learn that I won a lunch for a group by putting my business card into a drawing. I have a small department, so had lunch brought in for the group. A variety of Panini's along with chips and cookies. Everyone LOVED lunch! There were more than enough sandwiches which allowed for several folks to have seconds. The cookies were large and absolutely decadent. The Glastonbury location is the location that delivered the lunch since it was geographically closer to downtown Hartford where I work. They sandwiches were just as wonderful as the ones my husband and I enjoy in Enfield. If you've never tried this place, you should, you're missing out on a very tasty meal. read more
