Just starting off with I am not a customer. Last week my Hot Tub while I was traveling my Hot Tub must've had a problem and I came home to 42° water It's the day before Christmas Eve. I called for service and they were all busy. I don't live near them, and all of their technicians were further away from me than they were The woman who answered the phone was concerned and said he would have a technician. Call me back with some solutions. She offered a few herself and I'm nervously waited for that call. Before the end of the day, the technician called me. Had a problem with my Beachcomber hot tubs' inside light that was causing a leak. Called Hot Stuff and the secretary was able to set up a service the very next day. Paul, the technician, was right on time and tackled the issue. He was professional, knowledgeable, and extremely neat and courteous. I've owned a hot tub since my restoration from Hurricane Sandy. It's was 3,100 and runs on 110v / or 220v. About 4 years ago, the heater element broke, and also the original spa cover needed replacing. The office seems to be small , I say because when busy or not in office I got voicemail few times. Don't worry though, the lovely lady who calls you back does so quickly as possible and really, truly helps us clients get the service we need. Then I'm the field , I've had the privilege of getting Paul several years ago, and again now Mid June now here on Long Island, NY. They are a Superb, they are courteous, respectful on phone, and my property. The technician actually shows what isn't working and why. In my case this time. Here in Freeport NY, we had an extremely high tide that flooded local streets and was 1 inch from coming into my house and without me knowing, entered the spa from the patio deck it's sitting on. Over months it corroded Mother Board, and pump and heating element. All is PERFECT, money well spent .I'm a real client, I'll leave my contact info with Yelp so you can verify. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this magnificent company for your needs. This company is by sure the best. We called them in when our hot tub jets stopped working. They were able to diagnose the problem right away and fixed it within a few days. Not to long after that our hot tub would not go up any higher than 80 degrees. They came back and felt it was a problem with the mother board and replaced it. They always kept amazing phone contact with me re: times and dates of appts. After the mother board was put in the problem we had continued. The owner was at my home 3 times to fix the problem and has been so supportive. He is dealing with a 10 year old hot tub and never asked for another dime after putting the mother board in. He made some more changes today and my hot tub is heating up as I write this. I highly recommend this company. They are not after your wallet. found him extremely unreliable. Serviced our jacuzzi but took too many phone calls to finally get him here and get it fixed, it broke down a few months later. Should of realized then. We later finally decided we were interested in buying a used jacuzzi - a more updated one than our old one. Myself and family went to see a few spas he had available for sale (second hand use), we expressed interest for one of them, emailed and called him all summer about arranging for it, cost, had nothing but excuses that he was on vacation would get back, finally told us he sold it a month before we saw it which obviously wasn't true, didn't make sense, told a few weeks of emailing and emailing him before getting a response from him as he promised he would have more spas available. Months later, i decided to email him again - he responded with no timeline of when he would show us another spa, in the meantime he promised he would work with us and take our old spa out of our yard and have it replaced with a working one that he would service. yeah right, never happened. He is vague, obviously too busy and not dependable. Having a jacuzzi is a huge expense but very rewarding and if you are going to work with someone to service it, make sure he/she is reliable and dependable. read more

Tommy just left our apartment - can't recommend him highly enough. Firstly he looked at pictures of our problem in order to determine how he would solve it in advance. He kept in communication with us and was on time. He carefully problem solved a leak we had and gave us a lot of information about how to maintain and clean the whirlpool indoor bath. He also had a look at our neighbor's issue and gave them some advice without charging anything additional. Fantastic service and great guy - highly recommend. read more

I have been using tommy at hot stuff spas for close to 10 years to close my tub. I had a major issue with my tub this year and called the dealer and the spa company as well as the pack company to correct my issue. Finally they just washed their hands and gave up. Thanks DINO. Tommy and his crew at Hot Stuff Spa came back multiple times trying different things to correct the problem that I had. The so called experts at the spa company and dealer and pack company we all a bunch of idiots. The only expert here was Hot Stuff spa. Tommy Paul and the others kept coming back until they finally figured out what know one else could. A spa shutdown is never a good thing in the winter especially at 8:00pm. Left a message at Hot Stuff Spa Service. Got a call from Tommy at 9:00am stating he would be here between 11:00 and 1:00. Paul was knocking on my door at 11:01. Expecting the worst as there was power to the control panel but no pump activation (uh, oh $$$$), I suspected a bad pump. Paul opened the service panel, checked some components with his meter and within two minutes the pump came on. Turns out it was a blown $2.00 fuse.
