Purchased a new 2024 Yamaha MT-09 motorcycle. No test drive was allowed by the dealership prior to…read morepurchase. Come to find out it had a blatant defect with a lack of power in 2nd gear. Yamaha would not stand behind their product or fix the problem. They washed their hands clean of it. Customer service was incompetent and gave me the run around. Furthermore, Yamaha knew of this issue for at least 3 years on earlier models, did not issue any recalls or fix the problem, and knowingly continued to sell defective motorcycles to consumers for 3 years. Plus, they won't even let you return it or refund any money. BUYER BEWARE... Yamaha does not stand behind their product, does not take responsibility for their engineering defects, has unscrupulous business practices, and has no regard for customer satisfaction.

And will make sure to get the word out on how they treated Brennan Schofield on claiming Haiden Deegan's Factory Star Yamaha! Yamaha pressured a 17 year old kid not to claim the bike! Donnie Luce told him they would help him out with 2 motors and possibly ride a pro bike to rescind the claim! So , Brennan rescinded the claim because of all the pressure from the Canadian dealership, Donnie Luce and Matt Walker bullied this kid! Now, the Yamaha Canadian dealership has lied and taken Brennan's motorcycles and dropped his sponsorship! Yamaha will never help this kid, failed the amateur racing, failed the motorcycle industry! Vital MX has Bobby Reagan on tape saying that Haiden's bike did have some pro parts on it and he didn't want anyone to find out where Star was buying their engine parts from! You guys caught with a $40 to $50,000 bike! And you all know, you didn't want it claimed!

UPDATE: They are currently undergoing a lawsuit…read more Actually fraudulent company. So they used to be called SoCal Superbikes. Now they are Finito Motorsports. Their testimonials on this new website are for this SoCal Superbikes. They allegedly are owned by a different person now and are a completely different company -- according to them. I placed an SC Exhaust order for my bike and planned an install with them back in early February. I paid for the exhaust to reserve the order which amounted to just over $2000. They said they received the exhaust in early March, and to plan a day for install. We had some back and forth over the phone to plan a day to get the install done, but between my work schedule and their upcoming 'relocation' we couldn't get a day planned in the next couple weeks. They said they would call back when the relocation was complete. Fast forward 2 MONTHS I send an email for an update. No response. Two weeks later I send another email. Nothing. I decide at this point this is not a company I should do business with, so one or two days later I ask for a refund and to cancel everything. Nothing. One month later, they message me saying they are now Finito Motorsports and to talk to them now to move things along. The person messaging me is still the same Anthony Nguyen, unless this is an alias for their chat representative or maybe an alter ego for whoever is communicating with their customers. They literally have my order number as the subject line of this new messaging chain, implying my order is still something they are honoring as long as it means I am continuing to do business with them. I ask them for a refund and to cancel the rest of the order, and they all of a sudden say they are a NEW company with a NEW owner at a NEW location. Fun fact: SoCal Superbikes LLC used to operate with the branding Metonic Riders. Metonic Riders LLC does business as Finito Motorsports. They have at least shared assets, which means they are responsible for outstanding contracts from the acquired LLC. Otherwise, this is fraudulent conveyance and a breach of contract. Do not trust this fraudulent company.

Purchased in March, 2025…read more I love my bike, but I am not happy about the way my purchase process went and is still affecting me. This is not intended to slander anyone, but I don't want anyone to have a bad process like I did. The issues I noticed were poor communication, inaccurate documentation, hidden extra charges, and more. I stopped by to take advantage of the 1.99% APR promotional rate - first thing I told the manager. We looked at my credit and I qualified for the promotional rate. I was sitting with my partner in the room when I was given the different monthly payment options depending on the length of the loan. I was told 1.99% for 36 months or 60 months, but not 48 months (which I thought was weird). I responded that if I could get 1.99% for 60 then I would prefer that. There is a random address on the finance documents unrelated to me, manager doesn't go over the information with me so I assumed it was the finance business address. Paperwork gets signed, sent over, and then he asks if that was my address. Bank had to get called again and new paperwork signed and sent over (extra 15 minutes). I look at the paperwork and the APR says 7.99%. The manager seemed annoyed that I was pointing it out and I blamed myself for not double checking. I was also too upset to keep looking through because I already signed the paperwork and felt like there was nothing I could do. I later asked my partner about it and she heard the same thing. It doesn't end there. I get my insurance, manager says he will send the documents over to the insurance broker and did not do it. The broker keeps calling me asking for it because it hasn't been sent over, so I had to go back and interrupt his next sale to take a picture of the paperwork the broker needed to process my policy. Extra 20 minutes. I look at the contract and notice the listed price that is on the bike does not reflect the markup that the dealership quietly added to the bike for roughly $600 over the sticker price. In addition, I was signed up for an optional debt cancellation agreement for another $410 - was never asked about it and it is not mandatory. $80 for a document processing charge like the dealership isn't already making money on the sale and markup. The paperwork for my wheel & tire warranty with McGraw Powersports still has the wrong address. The more I look into the way this transaction, the more disappointed I am. I can't recommend this dealership because these issues cost me extra time and thousands of dollars. If you do want to buy a bike here, unfortunately, you cannot trust their word and you need to make sure there are no surprises on the paperwork before you sign. Two stars because Indian made a great bike.
