UPDATE: They are currently undergoing a lawsuit. Actually fraudulent company. So they used to be called SoCal Superbikes. Now they are Finito Motorsports. Their testimonials on this new website are for this SoCal Superbikes. They allegedly are owned by a different person now and are a completely different company -- according to them. I placed an SC Exhaust order for my bike and planned an install with them back in early February. I paid for the exhaust to reserve the order which amounted to just over $2000. They said they received the exhaust in early March, and to plan a day for install. We had some back and forth over the phone to plan a day to get the install done, but between my work schedule and their upcoming 'relocation' we couldn't get a day planned in the next couple weeks. They said they would call back when the relocation was complete. Fast forward 2 MONTHS I send an email for an update. No response. Two weeks later I send another email. Nothing. I decide at this point this is not a company I should do business with, so one or two days later I ask for a refund and to cancel everything. Nothing. One month later, they message me saying they are now Finito Motorsports and to talk to them now to move things along. The person messaging me is still the same Anthony Nguyen, unless this is an alias for their chat representative or maybe an alter ego for whoever is communicating with their customers. They literally have my order number as the subject line of this new messaging chain, implying my order is still something they are honoring as long as it means I am continuing to do business with them. I ask them for a refund and to cancel the rest of the order, and they all of a sudden say they are a NEW company with a NEW owner at a NEW location. Fun fact: SoCal Superbikes Corporation used to operate with the branding Metonic Riders. Metonic Riders LLC does business as Finito Motorsports. They have at least shared assets, which means they are responsible for outstanding contracts from the acquired corporation. Otherwise, this is fraudulent conveyance and a breach of contract. Also I called a couple of shops for starters that didnt even have any fuel maps or programs to tune a 3rd gen . David , who also owns a hayabusa was a lifesaver . Granted , its a persnickety bike to tune , and I wouldnt just trust anyone with and David allowed me to be there with the dyno , he showed me graphs and did a few pulls while I watched . I called this place to get an estimate on a Valve Adjustment Service and new Spark Plugs for my bike. I got a negative vibe right off the bat when Eric rudely answered the phone. After briefly telling him what I needed done, he didn't ask any questions about my bike and made no attempts to earn my trust or business. He then proceeded to put me on a 5 minute wait just to put together a quote. His quote ranged from $859-2,000 and he didn't even bother explaining what the service would entail. We brought our bike, an R6, to SoCal SuperBikes in the middle of April and picked it up today (June 14th). It is very hard to get anyone on the phone after 930am, they'll send a text saying they will call you back but never actually return the call. They don't call with updates, I had to call weekly just to get an inkling on what was going on with the bike. We understand they are a busy shop, but their customer service is severely lacking. Another issue we had, that wasn't caught until the sun went down and the lights came on, but the bikes rear lights no longer work, brake lights are also not functioning. read more

I was recommended this shop by a friend of mine about a year ago to install a healtech quick shifter on my 2013 bmw k1600gtl. I called them to get a quote and see if they know how to install it. I was quoted $150, and they confirmed they know how to do it. Took the bike in the morning and sat and waited for the bike as the said it shouldn't take too long. I waited long enough that I had to take the day off work and went home waiting for their call. 6 hours later, I go pick the bike up, they said job accomplished. They surprised me with a $400 bill at the register. They said it took them much longer than what they estimated. Took the bike for a test ride, it wouldn't do a proper quick shift. We went back and forth till they convinced me to go home since they were closing.The guy who installed did not have a clue how to program it and neither did it. After ridding the bike, I hade a few major false neutral where the bike revs all the way up, then ingages. Needless to say, that blew the transmission on my bike. My extended warranty denied the claim due to the failure of the quick shifter working properly, according to the dealer and independent inspector. All my gears were damaged in an unnatural way. I have had the bike for less than a month and purchased it from the dealer where all services were done. The bike worked like a charm. The sad thing is that I called them many times and mentioned this to them and asked them if they could help me fix the transmission they messed up and was willing to pay, not one time did they call me back. It cost $7k to buy a new transmission on this bike. My bike has been disassembled by the warranty company and given back to me like that. I will be taking them to court for this soon, they don't have a clue what they are doing in regards to this bike. I bought a replacement bike and installed a similar quickshifter and programmed it myself. The settings they had on my bike are simply unacceptable. Do not take a risk with these people. I am changing my review from 1 star to 3 stars. It was going on 4 weeks in the shop for clutch and shock service. I called once a week and was told clutch on back order. However on the 3rd week found out their supplier Barnett was back ordered and no ship date was even indicated. I called and asked them to find another supplier and they said that was against their policy. The owner Alex confirmed that to me over the phone. I pretty much let them have it and found the parts on eBay immediately. Guy had Kawasaki parts and claimed in stock. But when put in cart, was on order. Found a place that had Barnett set and told Alex to order them and ship them to his shop. My issue here is if I didn't do that, my bike would still be in the shop and I think they should have been more active searching out parts. So they got the parts and I picked up my bike today. January 25 to March 2nd. 5 weeks in the shop. I had them overhaul my Ohlins 30's front forks/suspension and replace the leaking seal on my Elka rear shock. The service was not cheap and not what I am used to paying but at the same time a shop is justified in making money for their work. Riding home on the freeway the suspension felt solid. And so did the clutch. Total cost ran around $1,350. Clutch, suspension overhaul, replace air filter and just general overall check out of the bike. I'm a hard core canyon carver so I don't mind paying for work that is performed correctly. Yes the delay was excessive. So it's important to check on the status of your bike at least weekly or twice a week to insure there are no problems and you many need to assist. read more

I sent in my bike for inspection on Friday around 10:30 am. I asked them when the bike will be checked at and what time I can get it. We'd agree on later the evening or if not then Saturday morning HOWEVER, I received no calls and no text messages updating my bike. I called them and asked them when I will receive my bike? Eric the head desk, told me it should be done by Tuesday. I was ready on Tuesday and I waited the whole day for this shop to call me back yet no one did and I'm assuming there was some delay's which I can understand. On Wednesday, between 4:20pm and 5:45pm I called them twice and both time they either rejected my call or never bothered to pick up. I received no information from Friday to until Thursday when I called again at 10:10am asking politely where my bike has been and what have they been up to that I received no information? Eric told me that they were done with the bike and quoted me 900 for the parts and 400 for labor. I already have rearranged another shop because of how unprofessional this shop is. I let him know that I planned on having another shop to fix up my bike and I only wanted this shop to look for any damage and do a "inspection". He gave me an attitude and hung up the phone after letting him know and also refusing the parts and labor for my bike. I had to then text the shop asking if I can officially receive my bike back and pay the agreement payment and not the other payments that I didn't agree to. I did not want them to change anything, I only asked for them to check. There was a lot of unprofessional aggression towards me and extreme lack of communication. read more

Came in October to diagnose my bike for repair and they couldn't find anything wrong at first. Had to reiterate what my problem was, an oil leakage coming from the gasket, fumes that smelled, and bike would cut off in the middle of riding. They gave me the cost of what the damage was, and I agreed uponed it. Waited for them to order parts, which took about a month, which was fine due to COVID-19. Flip to December, repairs are finished, but another bill $170 was added for an oil change, which wasn't stated at all in the first encounter, which would of been fine if they told me beforehand when I went to bring the bike into repair. Taking the bike home, the fumes were still there and it still cut me off in the middle of riding on a busy street. I'm not denying if they done the repairs, but the bike still feels the same as when I brought it in. Pretty disappointing. read more

I have used them twice to swap out tires on wheels and to give the bike a look over to see if anything was wrong. The prices are really fair and you can tell they actually have a passion for motorcycles. After putting on a wheel myself, I brought it over to them for an alignment and look over to see if there were any other issues. They aligned the wheel perfectly, let me know of some possible issues I kind of already suspected were there, but they basically said the bike was fine. I purchased the tire and took it to them for installation, I'm very observant and liked the way they conduct business, noticed that they definitely know bikes ! I just bought a motorcycle earlier this year and pretty much know nothing about the care and maintenance. I reached out to SoCal looking for a shop I could come to for all my motorcycle needs.. first problem was that I'm too short and I needed to lower my bike. Alex and his crew were super responsive and accommodating. I hadn't gotten my license yet and they came by my house and rode my bike in to service it for me. They lowered my bike and it rides like a dream. Just came by today to pick up some gear- got a great deal on a jacket and they also did my 600 mile oil change and maintenance for me. I'm super happy with the quality and care these guys put into what they do. You can tell they truly care about the customer and making sure their bike is safe to ride and fixed correctly. I'm so glad to find a local shop that I can trust my bike and basically my life with. They are super busy but Alex does his best to respond. He's also given me some tips on things I could do to improve my ride and I can tell he's in the business because he cares and not to make a quick buck. Wow what a great deal and fast shipping! Ordered a full exhaust and a Brembo RCS Corsa Corta. Both came in right before COVID hit and arrived fast and as described. The owner Alex was great to deal with on the phone and I found out he was an Army Veteran which was great because I always try to support small local shops and Veteran owned businesses as much as possible. I this shop just.opened up a month ago so they are probably still figuring things out. Sounds like the other review is someone bitter about having to still pay for headers for their stolen bike when they already got the muffler and had it installed on their bike. Sucks but doesn't sound like SoCal SBK's fault. Also I imagine the headers are delayed because of COVID and because Italy takes a two week break around this time of the year. read more
