Found wooden stick in the burger. The patty also seemed frozen and not made in their kitchen. Below average Indian food. Disappointed.

I haven't been here in quite awhile. I had only been here once before. unfortunately I shouldve avoided it. They changed the set up and put in booths. Their is no longer a lunch buffet which I was looking forward too. There is a sign to wear a mask, so I put one on begrudgingly a d we t I'm. No one was wearing one so I took it off. I sat in a booth, it took the man at the counter a few minutes to give me a menu. Like I was a bother, I didn't know you had to order at the dessert counter. I ended up deciding on paneer Tikka masala n garlic Naan, also a bottle of water (ridiculous price) The food came out rather quick in a to go bag. wth? so I unpacked everything, also didn't ask my spice level, he just assumed. The rice was okay, could've been cooked a little longer. The paneer was okay and sauce was decent. Spice level was mild to me. Garlic Naan was delicious and fluffy. Was it the best I've ever had? No. Will I be back? No. Terrible customer service? Yes. I shouldve left when I realized their was no buffet but I was very hungry so I stayed, mistake on my part. Next time I will not second guess myself. I shouldve trucked down to rt. 130 but yea know gas prices...It's sad that it's a great location but doesn't rise above the bar.

Looks like a locally owned joint. Once again my friend who lives here recommended this place. Very homey place. Chicken saag great chicken meat and the saag had the perfect spice. Butter Nan- good. Chicken tikka masala was good on the sauce and chicken and spice as well. Excellent prompt service and free rice make this place 4 stars. Great for students on a budget.

The first thing you see when you go into Hot Breads is their large selection of cakes and savory Indian pastries behind the glass counter space. I've had a variety as they aren't too expensive and thought that they were decent. What you don't know is that Hot Breads has awesome Indian cuisine! I've gotten take out from here multiple times and it's pretty good in my book, and I've been to a lot of different Indian restaurants in NY and NJ. My family even catered from Hot Breads recently for a Christmas Holiday party because we think it's great! We had a catering order of many of the dishes we've tried, such as chicken tikka masala, aloo gobi, spicy chicken, vegetable samosas, variety naan, fried triangular apps with (chicken, potatoes, or veg). Our guests loved the food too! Catering orders only require 24 hr notice. I sat down with the owner a week before and told him what to order. I'm not Indian, and it was helpful to speak to him in person my catering needs. The odd thing is I don't think there are firm prices with anything! He seemed to assign random prices on occasion. He changed me for rice! He saw that I was displeased and discounted some other item on my tab. Overall the prices were reasonable though. He'll overlook the tax if you pay by cash. Delivery is only to a 5 mile radius from the restaurant. Our poor delivery guy came on time, but he had to trek the food up my driveway during a snow storm! He was compensated well for his efforts. To our surprise, we received a complimentary half tray of chick pea curry, which was just ok, but still, free is free! As for the breads and cakes, I would get the cakes if craving cake. They are airy, and light in texture and not dense cakes. The icing is lightly sweet as well - similar to Asian cakes. The buns are nice to buy for a snack, breakfast, or lunch. We usually get the chicken bun (tikka masala), and cheese one (paneer). They are not bad. There are about 10 tables in this small restaurant. It's counter service and buffet is pretty cheap. You can do buffet takeout as well. I haven't tried it yet, but will update my thoughts in the future.

Dosa and more especially during the weekend buffet special at $8 per child and $10 adult including unlimited Dosa, baby! I'm not the foremost expert on anything Indian so I won't go into great detail regarding the dishes. What I do know is that my crew of 2 dosa loving boys killed it gladly as did I to the point of dosa/buffet coma, lol. Multiple rice options all prepared quite delicately to perfection without a hint of clump. I really dug all the delectable options especially the moist tandoori chicken. The goat was perfectly seasoned, we enjoyed sucking the marrow out of the bones. The fried fish was again perfectly moist and seasoned just enough to make my mouth water without my stomach doing my typical over spiced Indian food churn; yes I'm trying to learn to request and or apply moderate spice although this goes against my nature, he he he. The service was friendly and helpful when it came to explaing the dish ingredients. Clean and lit well. Fairly small with a dozen or so 2 tops. This place is fun with bright orange walls. We'll absolutely be back.

The rice 1/4 filled tray...thanks Hot Breads in Monroe Township, NJ 08831.

I just got chipped here ! I ordered Paneer Tikka Masala to go $14 plus garlic naan total $21+ . When I got back to my place I saw the rice tray only 1/4 filled. Paneer was mini cubes and only 6 pieces !!!!!!! The rest was onions and sauce . We are all feeling the crunch here and you treat yourself only to get taken advantage of. Not cool ...

Don't have half the items listed on the menu. Rude and cheap. Also, you should know how to bake bread if you're called "Hot Breads."

We discovered Mrs Kumar before it expanded and love the food. We visited Thumkaa which had its own vibes and while driving along 33E we kept passing Chozhas and decided we would visit on Valentine's day for Dinner. Clearly this restaurant does a booming business with its buffet and no difference on Valentines where an a la Carte menu was offered but there was such a crowd earlier that food and staff were exhausted. Fortunately we had Deepthi who despite being on her feet for hours made sure we were aware that the palak chat which was supposed to be out came back on the menu . Also giving us great advice on the quantity of food to order. She was excellent. Now to the food which was "good"...but not anything special. The appetizes Palak Chat and Lasuni Jhinga Shrimp were better than the main course of dal fry, goat rogan ghosh (nice having bones but not much meat). Rice came with garlic naan and the rice keer was served too hot as they ran out for lunch and had to make fresh. Now the decorations were really nicely laid out for Valentines and made it feel special. As we were leaving it was crowded. Clearly this place has a following and we were told the weekend buffet is what everyone comes for. We will try the buffet one weekend to see how the food is and hope that it really is exceptional and better than the a la carte. Again staff were great given how hard they were working and kudos to Deepthi.

I would give them zero. They have roaches roaming around when pointed out. The staff was laughing…read moreabout it. Owners are rude, check the screenshot of the response from the owner. I'd stay away.

I came here with my parents for lunch, and was surprised to see the place practically completely empty when I went in. I guess it's not very popular yet, or perhaps just in a location people don't often visit? Either way, the food and service was quite good overall. I loved the laccha paratha and the butter chicken was good too. I tried a bit of the korma and palak paneer as well, all classics and all very well done. I particularly liked that the gravies were not as creamy as some other places that really overdo it. My one suggestion revolves around the big TV in the middle of the dining room. That thing plays cringey ads every 5 minutes or so, which creates an awkward atmosphere in the restaurant. You guys can afford to pay for ad-free YouTube so your guests don't have to listen to that crap lol, it should be like $10 per month. Little things like that can make people think you lack attention to detail or care for your customer experience, so just clean all that up and you will be fine because the food is good. Overall, good tasty food, if you fix the constant YouTube ads you will be 5 star worthy.
