This was my first time trying this restaurant. After visiting the local Indian temple, our group of five adults stopped by for lunch, looking forward to enjoying some yummy food--especially dosa. Unfortunately, we were disappointed. The server told us that they were not serving any South Indian dishes because the kitchen was busy with catering orders. This was on Oct 25th around noon. Well, I really wanted to give this place a better review since it just opened. We went here primarily because they had outdoor seating and we were in the mood for Dosas. Although, Dosas are a prominent item on their menu, they were not offering them this week. We were advised of our other options and went with the Sev Puri Chaat. They didn't have that version of Chaat. So we settled on the Bhel Chaat (an available option), Bhaji Phav, and Mango Lassi. Them being a new business, they have improved a lot over the course of time and standing at pretty solid position in terms of food quality and customer service. We've tried all kinds of Indian street food and snacks from Honest. Their signature Pau bhaji and Pulav is always on point. We've also tried their Double Cheese Pizza, Manchow Soup, Manchurian and Schezwan noodles. Their pineapple and Black Forest pastries were also good. I eat a lot of indian food, I'm not an indian food expert. I did not enjoy the place. I ordered Paneer Tikka Masala and Gobi Machurian dry. The Paneer tikka masala was pretty spiced, but bland at the same time. I don't think enough salt was added. After i added some myself, it was pretty okay. The Gobi Manchurian Dry... i think they took the salt from the Paneer and added it to the Gobi. Boy was it salty. Flavor would be fine if not for the excess salt. Also, they dont give rice. I guess it's my fault for assuming there would be rice included w/ an entree order, but it is what it is. I wasn't going to pay $4 for an order of rice, so i just went home and air fried some frozen garlic naan which paired well. read more

And they would place the plastic cups top-down on the table so we couldn't use the bottom cup. We asked for more cups and explained the problem, and they brought out more cups and did the same thing. Restaurant Complied with the PPE, capacity and social distancing in the operation at that time. Ordered the Masala Dosa, Paneer Tikka, and Butter Naan. This is not the typical food we usually go for, but we wanted to try something different and we pass by this place a lot. I got the vegetarian dumplings (manchurian gravy, I think) and it was really good, I was very impressed. The guy taking our order asked how spicy we would like it, I got mine mild and I'd say they did a good job with that. It certainly was spicy but a good degree.
