I don't think they would name a sex shop London if they had actually been to London, because it's not the sexiest city in the world, and the red light district is the definition of dingy and grungy, dirty and grimy, drugs and guns, and any other "d&g" you can think of *except* for Dolce and Gabbana. So London may be icky rather than delicious and enjoyable, but this shop is pretty damn sexy, if not cheap. It's close to the RLD of Queens (for trans girls and fans of such) and so can be a perfect stopping place for ladies of the night, or the dancers at the many sexy latin clubs up and down Roosevelt in JH and Elmhurst. Anyway it's a cool sex shop with high prices right in the middle of one of the best parts of Queens - Jackson Heights.

If you are looking for cheap "One time" use lingerie and paying double for it, then Studio One is the place. I can't see why ANYONE would spend their money at this establishment. Tacky, limited supply, and the quality is horrendous - and is there any order to the lay out, at all? The place looks run down and the parking lot is a death trap for your car. Walking down the concrete corridor makes you feel like you're about to get jumped. And when you finally get in the store, it looks like someone designed it with a dollar store budget. Not to mention that there are constantly people idling around, eating, talking, using the shop for their own personal play ground...is this a business? Do you work here? The few pieces that are nice (in the form of bustiers and corsets), are insanely overpriced and everything else can be found at a steep discount with a quick internet search. Better off going to ANY OTHER lingerie store in the area but this one.

What really sets this location apart is the staff. Kay, Dani, and Britt are not only kind and professional, but they genuinely make every customer feel comfortable and appreciated. They happily help you find what you're looking for, answer questions without judgment, and even hold your items at the counter while you continue shopping. Their enthusiasm is contagious, and they make the entire experience fun. I also loved seeing how inclusive this store is. They carry a wide variety of products, including beautiful lingerie, cosplay, and apparel for women, men, and plus-size customers. As a queer customer, it meant a lot to see people of all identities and orientations shopping comfortably together. That's what real sex positivity looks like--everyone is welcome. During one of my visits, I witnessed representatives from the local commerce department stop by to greet the staff and tour visiting officials. I overheard them praising Romantic Depot as a successful, community-friendly business that gives back through charitable donations. It was wonderful to hear that this store not only serves its customers well but also supports the broader community.
