It was strange to experience a bunch of spots closed until Wednesday or even just open much later. Probably just slow since it's a small town. First wok definitely didn't disappoint. The food was delicious and everything was generously portioned. We had meals for two days from here. Service was excellent and the food was ready when we went to pick up. Definitely recommend this place!

I've had better crab rangoon but it was still good. I ordered veggie lo mein with no onions, steamed dumplings, and crab rangoon. I tried an egg roll too. Everything was freshly made and good! I had enough that I brought home left overs for the next days' lunch. I recommend this place if you like Chinese. They have an extensive menu!

I ordered the Broccoli and Beef lunch special with egg drop soup, and my hubby got the Mongolian Beef lunch special. The soup is on the starchy side but the other dishes always come out hot and freshly wok'd. Is it the best Chinese food I've had? Far from. *but* for the location in a small town in Iowa, it's not bad at all. Service is fast and friendly and Amy was very helpful when we last visited. It's a popular spot for locals here in Fort Madison if you're craving Chinese.

Review looked really good so we decided to give it a try First, this small downtown restaurant is beside the theater and easy to miss. There was no apparent sign. On entering, it's clear the owners are taking COVID restrictions seriously. Every other table has a sign not to use the table and everything is very clean. We were served promptly and our waiter anticipated and provided everything we could ask for. We shared spring rolls which were beautifully prepared and presented, fresh and delicious. My husband ordered Seafood Pad Thai and I had the Drunken Noodles. Both were excellent. The portions were such that we'll have enough to have at home tomorrow after a long trip. Be sure to give them a try if you're in the area.

However, it was mainly chicken and onions with a few carrot slices. Unfortunately, there were no snow peas, mushrooms or water chestnuts. It had good flavor, however my rating is lower because I specifically ordered this dish for all the vegetables and was very disappointed. The crab wontons were good and filling. The spring rolls were good, but they contained sliced chicken which we were not expecting. They came with plain chopped peanuts instead of a peanut sauce which was also disappointing.
