I have been dying to try this place because I am a soup lover. Ordering online is so Easy. Your food is already ready at the door. It gives off Panera bread/tropical smoothie vibes but smaller and less food options. I don't usually eat broccoli cheddar soup but I felt like that's what I wanted today. It was very sharp tasting to me. Which I don't personally like but others may love that. And the Italian market sandwich wasn't my favorite but it was okay. Staff was so helpful since I was new to coming here. So the overall experience with this was great but next time I need to order something else. Was not bad just wasn't for me. read more

Soup tasted ok. Service was quick the soup was already made. Tasted like "just add water" to dried packet soup. The crackers were fresh. The ambiance was just like all fast food places. Never heard of this place. Stumbled on it while we were traveling. Actually had awesome sirloin chili and great customer service. Would go here again if I came across it. However, do not venture into the place next door that has Burgers. It is disgusting, smells and cannot get an order right. Staff was rude and incompetent. Did I mention it smelled like sewage?? This is a pretty simple sandwich/salad/soup concept restaurant where the soup is clearly the star. On any given day, there are a dozen tasty soups to choose from, as well as a number of salad and sandwich options. I've only been here twice, trying 2 different sandwiches (MTB and Maple Bacon Ham) and 2 different soups (a turkey chili and a beef and vegetable). My wife's had lobster bisque and citrus salad. All meals were good. Fresh, wholesome ingredients, especially crusty breads baked in-house make the sandwiches above average. A nice touch is that you can sample any of the soups before you buy. Soups come in 3 portion sizes. You can mix and match half sandwiches and smaller portions of soup or salad in one meal, as is common in other similar restaurants. Free refills on drinks. At the Quincy location (the only one we've been to), the service was superb. Staff will greet you, explain the set-up if you're not sure, and encourage you to sample soups or ask about their menu. Store is clean and well-lit. Menu board is large and easy to read and understand. There is a roadside electronic sign displaying their soup choices, some of which change daily. Good value for money. They have 12 different soups everyday. Six are standard & the other 6 rotate. Really clean & comfortable place. The lady that waited on us was very nice. The food was fabulous! I got soup and a wrap. Both tasted great. Until I got to the second half of my "veggie" wrap. The flat bread was rolled up in the center to fluff it out two pieces of spinach and one slice of cheese. Monday... 90% of soups were spicy which I don't eat. The rest were soups I can get everyday anywhere. The Tuscan chicken sandwich I ordered was 80% bread. Skimmed me on the chicken and all the fillings. For me... A little over bearing with asking if I wanted any samples, what did I want, trying to get me to try soups I definitely don't like and repeatedly telling us to give our order at the register. We visited Quincy's newest soup and sandwich shop only days after their opening. I figured it would be on par with Panera but given my obsession with soup I had to try it asap! Zoup! definitely did not disappoint. We tried the tomato basil soup and the crab bisque and both were very good. The crab bisque was a bit rich for my taste but the tomato soup was some of the best I had ever had. I also tried the Chicken Toscana sandwich and it was heavenly. The staff was friendly and fast even with the gobs of people lined up to try the new eatery. They really encourage diners to taste test each of the soups before making a decision. I also love that the 12 soup menu changes daily. I will most certain be back...soon! read more

The staff is very friendly. All the soups are fresh and delicious. I've been there 3 times and every time the place is super clean. My favorite soup is the loaded baked potato. Favorite sandwich is the turkey and bacon. I've never had enough room for a desert but their brownies look delicious. read more

Today was my 4th visit to the Quincy Zoup and possibly my last. My first visit, the young man giving the introduction finished with the couple in front of me, turned around and walked away and did not return. Bad 1st impression. My second visit, as I got the area where you can sample soups the woman serving left. It was several minutes before anyone manned the spot, and only after other customers had entered the shop. My third visit there was a problem with the 1st cash register creating a gift card. I was at the 2nd register, and instead of completing my transaction everyone focused on the other register. Before you know it, they try to make the card on my register locking the whole store up. Many minutes before they can get it running and, of course, my food isn't even ordered. Fourth visit, today. There was a mother/daughter in front of me. They order, I sample. When I'm about 3-4 foot from the 2nd cash register the young woman manning it leaves, leaving the only customer not having ordered (me) standing there. After a few minutes I just walked out. Staff seems chaotic and jumbled. There is no apparent order to what any employee's function is. There are defined stations for greeting, sampling, preparing and ordering, but any of those stations may be unmanned at any time. Customer service is random. As to the food, the soup IS delicious. I kept coming back for the Lobster Bisque. Sandwiches are mediocre, without the attention to detail and bread of Panera. Be warned that every soup comes with a mini-loaf of bread making a cup of soup a meal for many people. read more
