Never heard of this place. Stumbled on it while we were traveling. Actually had awesome sirloin chili and great customer service. Would go here again if I came across it. However, do not venture into the place next door that has Burgers. It is disgusting, smells and cannot get an order right. Staff was rude and incompetent. Did I mention it smelled like sewage?? Zoupy, though, was on the mark. Sad that is was connected to the awful burger dive. read more

I have been dying to try this place because I am a soup lover. Ordering online is so Easy. Your food is already ready at the door. It gives off Panera bread/tropical smoothie vibes but smaller and less food options. I don't usually eat broccoli cheddar soup but I felt like that's what I wanted today. It was very sharp tasting to me. Which I don't personally like but others may love that. And the Italian market sandwich wasn't my favorite but it was okay. Staff was so helpful since I was new to coming here. So the overall experience with this was great but next time I need to order something else. Was not bad just wasn't for me. read more

Nope went downhill within a month took my favorite rice bowls off the menu tried to recreate it with jasmine rice, but it was hard white grain rice I'm sorry but bring back the original rice bowls with the wild rice read more

Food was amazing, didn't like their oyster crackers but still amazing food. The guy was very knowledgeable on their soups, he had a very positive vibe for sure. read more

Soup tasted ok. Service was quick the soup was already made. Tasted like "just add water" to dried packet soup. The crackers were fresh. The ambiance was just like all fast food places. The food portion was very small and the place is overrated. I was starved after eating. Prices seemed very high for soup and a cup of water. read more

Always a great place to stop when I'm in town for a hot bowl of soup or a delicious sandwich!

I had a technical class for work and they provided lunch from Zoup. It was good both days.

I think they are way overpriced to compensate for the lack of business and I just think that is wrong. It's a pandemic and we are all suffering. So you see you only hurt yourself by doing it. And it really isn't worth the price, the sandwiches are good, the soup is eh....the soup kitchen is probably better, and it's Free. When other businesses are struggling they get creative and run specials to bring in customers. read more

Rude staff, place was empty but they acted like we were interrupting their deep conversation on belly button lint and ear wax. Bread was tough, meat was skimpy, salad and soup were okay but $26.50 is a lot to pay for two people for a 2nd rate Panera bread. read more

Excellent pepper steak soup, fiesta salad, chicken noodle soup, chicken toscana sandwich AND bread! Wish we lived here - this would be a weekly visit! read more

This is a pretty simple sandwich/salad/soup concept restaurant where the soup is clearly the star. On any given day, there are a dozen tasty soups to choose from, as well as a number of salad and sandwich options. I've only been here twice, trying 2 different sandwiches (MTB and Maple Bacon Ham) and 2 different soups (a turkey chili and a beef and vegetable). My wife's had lobster bisque and citrus salad. All meals were good. Fresh, wholesome ingredients, especially crusty breads baked in-house make the sandwiches above average. A nice touch is that you can sample any of the soups before you buy. Soups come in 3 portion sizes. You can mix and match half sandwiches and smaller portions of soup or salad in one meal, as is common in other similar restaurants. Free refills on drinks. At the Quincy location (the only one we've been to), the service was superb. Staff will greet you, explain the set-up if you're not sure, and encourage you to sample soups or ask about their menu. Store is clean and well-lit. Menu board is large and easy to read and understand. There is a roadside electronic sign displaying their soup choices, some of which change daily. Good value for money. Both visits, we left feeling good about the place. read more

LOVE the soup, sandwiches, and salads! Employees are always friendly. Love the variety of soups you can choose from. Definitely recommend. One of my favorite restaurants in town. read more

They have 12 different soups everyday. Six are standard & the other 6 rotate. Really clean & comfortable place. The lady that waited on us was very nice. The food was fabulous! Get soup even if it's hot outside. Fire roasted soup, citrus garbanzo salad & fiesta chicken salad were all delicious. I would definitely return. read more

I got soup and a wrap. Both tasted great. Until I got to the second half of my "veggie" wrap. The flat bread was rolled up in the center to fluff it out two pieces of spinach and one slice of cheese. Granted they were coated in a great tasting sauce, but for the price it was really disappointing. read more

We were there one Sunday afternoon. Help was great. They let us sample soups. Brought our food promptly. They use local ingredients. Prices are good. Would recommend. read more

The best place in Quincy to get a fresh, clean salad when the only other options are fast food. The customer service is always friendly, friendly, friendly. Try all the soups if you like. I have a few favorites. My kids love all of the soups & sandwiches, so it's a perfect stop for us. read more

Food is always good, but it's pricey. Can't make it a more common meal unfortunately due to price. Atmosphere is nice, sampling soups is a nice touch. You get what you pay for! read more

Delicious soup with a variety that will appeal to almost everyone. You can sample any soup before you choose what to order. There is a display of the containers so you can decide what size fits your appetite. I had the tomato spinach with brown rice snd half of a four cheese sandwich. Both were excellent. I got a cup of soup, which is 12 full ounces filled to the brim of the container. You also get a hunk of bread - choice of sourdough, french loaf, and multi grain - with your soup, so an order of just soup can be very satisfying. read more

Zoup! Eatery - A cup of Tomato spinach with brown rice. - Soup Near Me - Quincy, Illinois

Very good food, and quick. They offered samples of any of the soup before we ordered. All four of us were pleased with our meals.

Found this place while visiting Quincy, IL. Great food and super friendly staff. Will revisit soon to try more soups. read more

Monday... 90% of soups were spicy which I don't eat. The rest were soups I can get everyday anywhere. The Tuscan chicken sandwich I ordered was 80% bread. Skimmed me on the chicken and all the fillings. For me... A little over bearing with asking if I wanted any samples, what did I want, trying to get me to try soups I definitely don't like and repeatedly telling us to give our order at the register. I was so looking forward to eating here... Will think twice next time. read more

New to the area I discovered Zoup! Wow! I am a fan of this place & will continue to be one. Every item on menu is amazing! I can't wait till the next day when I can go again! Besides amazing food the establishment is so clean. The staff wonderful. Prices reasonable. Great music playing. Thank You for being in Quincy IL! Note: the ONLY thing I would change is the ice tea brand & have lemons available for the tea. read more

Always fresh and friendly great variety always a good experience and willing to adapt your order ,

The people are friendly af. And the soups and sandwiches are to die fo. The staff is amazing and the food is better. 10/10 would eat again.

We visited Quincy's newest soup and sandwich shop only days after their opening. I figured it would be on par with Panera but given my obsession with soup I had to try it asap! Zoup! definitely did not disappoint. We tried the tomato basil soup and the crab bisque and both were very good. The crab bisque was a bit rich for my taste but the tomato soup was some of the best I had ever had. I also tried the Chicken Toscana sandwich and it was heavenly. The staff was friendly and fast even with the gobs of people lined up to try the new eatery. They really encourage diners to taste test each of the soups before making a decision. I also love that the 12 soup menu changes daily. I will most certain be back...soon! read more

Well, I finally got to try their soups, took carryout home Tuesday evening. All were very good, pluses; employees were very friendly and helpful. Large variety of soups to choose from. Really no minuses but it is an upscale place and a little pricy, but worth it! read more

Zoup is the best. The staff is always so friendly and wiling to help you pick out a soup. They are so efficient and have never messed my order up in the many times I have come here! Plenty of room for people to sit and if you're taking it to go, it's ready in a flash! The lobster bisque is my personal favorite soup here. It's amazing. The prices are perfect for the amount of food that you get. My only complaint is that they need more locations because if they had a Zoup in Macomb I'd eat there constantly!! read more

Bleh. There was a large assortment of soups and the staff was friendly-I'll give them that, The rest of the menu (salads and sandwiches) was sub par. I had a spicy chicken soup-which was good-and a greek salad. I'm here to tell you that is not a greek salad. Canned black olives, a sweet basalmic vinegarette and cubed "feta" cheese? I was there just before 1 on a Thursday...there was only 1 other couple in there... read more

The staff is always so helpful, and attentive, with your needs. They encourage you to sample all of the different soups. Normally quick serve places like this don't have great customer service, but they sure do! And of course it's delicious. read more

The staff is very friendly. All the soups are fresh and delicious. I've been there 3 times and every time the place is super clean. My favorite soup is the loaded baked potato. Favorite sandwich is the turkey and bacon. I've never had enough room for a desert but their brownies look delicious. read more

This was better than I thought it would be. I like that you can sample the soups. I had the chicken and dumpling which was on the good side of ordinary. The Greek chicken wrap was good and there were several salads and sandwiches that I thought I'd like to try. Only complaint: it was hot in there. read more

Absolutely love it here! The food is delicious and the owner really goes above and beyond to make sure his customers are satisfied. Every time I've ever walked in, I've had a great experience. I also LOVE that they offer free delivery even though they don't have to! read more

Some really, really good soup, plus you can sample anything they have out. My only complaint is the constant shouting of "HOT SOUP!" from the staff as they bring out refills to their line. I understand it's meant to be fun and all that, but you can't help but hear the pain in the employees voices as they repeat the same chant for the 75th time today. read more

Zoup is a wonderful addition to quick casual options in Quincy. The food is wholesome, fresh, and original, and the service is extremely efficient and friendly. I've been here several times with groups, and everyone was impressed with the variety and homemade flavor. The prices are excellent for the quality and portion sizes. read more

Love this place for a simple lunch or dinner. Soup salad and sandwich. Not over the top pricey. Gave sample of soups before you ordered. Lobster Bisque and cheddar beer soup were delish. Noticed after that there are a few of these throughout Midwest and will add it to must eat list when I'm that way. read more

The soup and sandwiches are OK, but not worth anywhere near the prices. The food is fair at best. They do have a very wide selection of soups, certainly more than anyone else in town. Just a bit pricey for what you get. read more

Today was my 4th visit to the Quincy Zoup and possibly my last. My first visit, the young man giving the introduction finished with the couple in front of me, turned around and walked away and did not return. Bad 1st impression. My second visit, as I got the area where you can sample soups the woman serving left. It was several minutes before anyone manned the spot, and only after other customers had entered the shop. My third visit there was a problem with the 1st cash register creating a gift card. I was at the 2nd register, and instead of completing my transaction everyone focused on the other register. Before you know it, they try to make the card on my register locking the whole store up. Many minutes before they can get it running and, of course, my food isn't even ordered. Fourth visit, today. There was a mother/daughter in front of me. They order, I sample. When I'm about 3-4 foot from the 2nd cash register the young woman manning it leaves, leaving the only customer not having ordered (me) standing there. After a few minutes I just walked out. Staff seems chaotic and jumbled. There is no apparent order to what any employee's function is. There are defined stations for greeting, sampling, preparing and ordering, but any of those stations may be unmanned at any time. Customer service is random. As to the food, the soup IS delicious. I kept coming back for the Lobster Bisque. Sandwiches are mediocre, without the attention to detail and bread of Panera. Be warned that every soup comes with a mini-loaf of bread making a cup of soup a meal for many people. read more

I recommend Zoups to everyone. Every soup, salad, sandwich I've one had has been great tasting and never let me down to fill me up. George

Really great. The food was amazing but the staff were so friendly. My daughters got a kick out of the "hot soup" chorus and as we left, one asked me why the workers were so kind. :) read more

This is the third time I've been here, and the soups and salads have always been up to par, along with the ability to taste soups so that I'd know which one I'd like to have. Service has always been fun, quick, chirpy, enthusiastic and infectiously happy. The chicken pot pie and lobster bisque are the usual favorites of mine, with the Asian salad the one I prefer to eat. Today I took home the beef barley and Indian lentil soups, and my usual Asian salad. However, the usual friendly and enthusiastic service were not part of the deal today. Instead, i had an all round muted, and especially surly service from one of the staff who, even after spelling my name, got it wrong, and I'm glad there were very few customers there so that I didn't miss my mis-spelled and mispronounced name on my order, which also lacked bread, believe it or not, with the rest of the staff very quiet. I hope that this disappointing lack of cordial cheer is only a one time deal and that everyone there was just having a bad day. I will be back again some day, enough to give it time for staff to recover and hopefully return to a happier and more satisfying experience there. There's no reason to have the exclamation mark on the name Zoup!, if it is not touted with the utmost relish and cheer. read more
