Big dogs and small dogs are separated.
Mr D.

Big dogs and small dogs are separated. There is running water and a shower if they get dirty. I like it because I can take a walk.

Daddy made me tired at the Horsham Dog Park!

A peaceful tree-lined walk away from the parking lot, my dog loved it here and there were more people here than the others we tried in the area. Always good for the dogs to have buddies around.

My dog loved this park. It's not too far from where I live so I will definitely be returning. Pretty atmosphere

This dog park is an example of the way such parks should be established. Dogs are animals and…read morehumans need to recognize the risks involved in having a dog park including the possibility that even nice dogs don't love all other dogs and people. The measures Whitpain used to make this a safe dog park including requiring up to date vaccinations are for safety. It is well known that less controlled dog parks can result in canine disease spreading. In addition many people do not train their dogs and have little control over them. Dogs can be triggered and may bite or attack other dogs or humans trying to separate them. Humans are responsible for ensuring such parks are safe for dogs and people. I see nothing wrong with requiring a bit of education of dog owners regarding canine behaviors and warning signs to protect all involved. If you don't like the rules don't join. There are plenty of parks around with zero controls- good luck because you may need it.

Woof woof ruff woof woof woof awoooo! ~Translation~…read moreI start whining as soon as we pull into the driveway because I know we are at the best dog park in town! This is a MEMBERSHIP REQUIRED dog park, and it is well worth it because it gives you a somewhat safer state of mind knowing that there is accountability of who comes in and out of the dog park. Annual membership is $35 for residents of Whitpain and $50 for non-residents which is a very reasonable fee. If you go to the township's website there is orientation sign ups that are mandatory. It is just a basic class to go over dog park etiquette and dog behavior. I also like that the parking is right next to the dog park and there is alot of visibility. They recently added lights and soon water! Everyone that I met is friendly (humans and dogs alike) and there is a good regular crowd between dinner time and sunset. My experience here is definitely better than that of other dog parks. Dog owners are actively engaged with their dogs and sometimes conversating with other humans. There is a small dog area that seems like it is not used as often as the big dog area. Depending on your comfort level and your type of dog, the small dogs are sometimes in on the big dog side and having fun too!

It's good to see her off the cell phone and iPad and just enjoying the beautiful sunshine. Her favorite thing is the swings and the zip line type thing, she can just go back and forth a million times on it, this park also has a walking trail, basketball courts, soccer/baseball fields and ample parking, on this outing we forgot our basketball but was still a nice time. We were talking to other vendors, apparently its $80 ?!???? for a spot that looked very very small, greedy priced. To get a spot at JAKES FLEA MARKET is only $12 for 1 day AND they give you a table ! I saw one of the lemonade stand people, A HUGE lady was smoking a cigarette and didn't wash there hands after smoking and returning to cut the lemons, GROSS, DISGUSTING, That is not an example of how to run a beverage business, YET I bet they want other venders to follow the rules when THEY DON'T. When I saw that I threw our cup away. The water tasted to me like spicket water with a funny after taste like pottstown water, not even purified water that has been treated to drink. Just seemed to be the lazy way of making lemonade. Just BLAH. The tasting cards made zero sense, seemed like another way to make people to spend cash on something they didn't need to spend cash on, that was a ridiculous idea and I seen it limited alot of people. There was a marketing company vendor, she was very rude, she was trying to get people to give there info, I can't believe the Unthoroughness, the incompetence, of the owners for even letting a marketing Pyramid scheme to be a vendor, WOW.
