The owners of the dogs that come here are almost always very social and so great to chat with and there are always regulars. When we got there, there were only 2 dogs in the small section but I'm sure they were not under 30lbs and kept jumping on us which resulted in scratching my leg. Luckily the owners noticed the dog's behavior and left. My pup was the only one in there and she absolutely loved it. A great way to burn that puppy energy. The park is very clean and also has a water fountain for dogs to drink from. Will definitely be back when the weather gets warmer.

The number of dogs ranged from six to 20 during those two hours. A couple dogs got snappy, but their owners were very conscientious and put the dog in timeout or left the park. On this day, all the pet owners pooper scooped, and I did not find the park to be a crap land mine. There are actually three fenced in areas but everyone was in the large dog section. The smallest dog was around 15 lbs. There isn't a water station but several owners had bowls out which became communal K-9 use. Other owners would refill as needed from jugs they brought from home. I had a 35 pound boxer/Boston terrier mix who was mostly antisocial since it was his first visit. I would visit this park again. It's in a good location - not much traffic or noise and right on the trail. If there were water stations, I would have given Reynold's Dog Park a five star rating.

Dogs can be triggered and may bite or attack other dogs or humans trying to separate them. Humans are responsible for ensuring such parks are safe for dogs and people. I see nothing wrong with requiring a bit of education of dog owners regarding canine behaviors and warning signs to protect all involved. If you don't like the rules don't join. There are plenty of parks around with zero controls- good luck because you may need it.

It is very peaceful and they have many paths that go through forest's and around the area, even I haven't fully explored this park!! Going at evening/sundown is my favorite time to go (as pictured below). If anyone is in the area and is looking to do something outdoors, look no further than Fischer's Park. This park is right off Bristol Road on an old air base and you couldn't possibly miss it. It's a spot that will please people of all sorts, as there is quite a bit to do. There is a pretty long track that runs along the perimeter of the place, with exercise spots along the way. I believe it says it's about 2.5 miles, which is great if you're trying to keep some accountability. You'll even get to see the abandoned neighborhood through some of the fencing as you walk, which is kind of cool to see. This place also has a dog park within it, as well as a huge playground. It's a great spot to bring the kids, but make them go to the bathroom beforehand. The restrooms are locked for the winter and the porta potties aren't in great shape. If you find yourself wondering across the street, there is another park (Munro) that offers another playground and a place for the skateboarders to let loose. If you know what geocaching is, you will also be able to partake in some of that. Most people I encounter absolutely love this park. Great for runners, bladers, and bikers. For me personally, I enjoy places that are a little more quiet and have nature trails. This place works though.
