This is a cute, fun resto/bar that lets dog owners and dog appreciators hang out all together with four legged furry friends! The location is pretty good being near the Fairmount Park area but the street parking is *rough* right now due to all the construction and potholes. It seemed like a hazard to cross the street even but the restaurant has no control over that but just be mindful of the parking around! As for the place, it's cute and has a front check in area with merchandise. You pass through the gate and you're in the bar area and an exit to the patio area with some tables and an area for dogs to play. There isn't a lot of AC happening so if you're outside on a hot day try to nab a seat near a fan. The issues I had with this place was the food situation. The food itself was tasty but very very black peppery and so many onions I am sure I became Shrek's metaphor. Moreover, there wasn't really any one person distinguishable as a server. You have to order drinks at a separate counter inside so if you're outside you run the risk of losing your seat (happened to me rip). I asked for cream with my coffee and got non-dairy milk carton that also stated it contained milk. I wonder how a lactose intolerant person would feel about that... The payment system was also very confusing. You open a tab at the bar/drink window which also serves as the pay area for your check...but the credit card you use to mobile order your food gets automatically charged. The employees seemed confused about it too so maybe they are working out the kinks. Ultimately, a cute place to visit once and then write a review about. Might be cute for dogs but there weren't any toys available for them so maybe not.

My dog Billy doesn't enjoy living in the city but when we get to Boozy Mutt he is unstoppable! He loves it here, great place great staff and well maintained

TLDR: The food comes in large portions that can be enjoyed by dogs or people alike. The plate I got was extremely salty, but none of my friends seemed to have that issue. I just had water with my food, but one friend said that the drinks are really good here as well. The large and enclosed astroturf area out back is the perfect place for dogs of all sizes and ages to run around and play. Right when you enter the building, you are welcomed by a small merch shop with hats, T-shirts, dog toys, and more. Dogs you wish to bring here must be registered at the kiosk and evaluated first, but you can also come here if you don't have a dog to bring. After scanning your ID, the friendly staff let you through two small gates to the main area. There are tables and chairs with long legs throughout the interior, so the chances of a pup stealing something off the table is less likely. In the back "yard" are picnic tables and lawn chairs that are much closer to the ground. Drinks and food are ordered at the small window inside or through your phone. There are QR codes all around that link you to the menu. I found mobile ordering system to be a bit confusing because it gave me an order number after I selected my item to checkout with and even texted me, but it didn't actually go through. I waited maybe 15 minutes before I realized the order never went through. I ended up ordering The Boozy Mutt Omelet and picked it up at the window on the side. I don't know why they don't automatically hand you a fork or spoon when you order foods that are clearly not finger foods, but it's fine. I just asked the staffmember for one when one came back to the counter. The food came with a LOT of potatoes! Both the potatoes and omelet were so salty that I had a bit of trouble eating it all. It was pretty pricey at $17 though, so I wasn't about to waste any of it. The staff here are all really nice and friendly. I really like how their rufferies around the restaurant were really adament about cleaning up after doggy messes and continually made sure to watch them. Some even remembered the many dogs by name. I had a lot of fun watching all the different dogs play and occasionally petting them. They were all really well behaved, so the restaurant's screening process must be really good! Overall, I think this place is good. I am willing to try their other foods even if my meal was not the best. I am optomistic that it was just a fluke. I also just love dogs and think their cuteness makes up for the food not being very palatable.

My friends and I heard about this place and wanted to stop by to hang out with some pups. Even though we don't have any pets, we were still welcome to visit, which I thought was great! Before entering the staff help you fill out an electronic waiver -- the staff were very helpful and friendly, making sure that we were taken care of. There is an indoor and outdoor seating area with plenty of space for dogs to run around. As for the menu, there is a variety of option for food -- think your standard bar food such as fries, hot dogs, sandwiches and whatnot. There was also a good variety of drinks available to grab. I didn't think the food or drinks were outstanding, but they were solid and worth to me for the experience. If you wanted to get something for your furry friend, there is also a food menu for dogs! The Boozy Mutt also has different events on the day of week, such as Trivia on Tuesday. There are also certain days of the month where there will be specific events such as dog breed meet ups. The website has a lot of helpful information that answered a lot of my questions. I will definitely be coming back here sometime soon to hang out!

This looks like a super cute place to eat but Unfortunatly we came on a Friday and it's only open to families on Thursdays. Otherwise it's 21+ only and dogs have to be registered to be on the patio. The gluten free menu looks good. I can't wait to come back on a Thursday.

Very great dog themed bar with the inside gated portion for dogs to run around and play in. Once you sign the waiver and enter from their merch shop into the inner bar area, there's lots of seating inside and outside. Decent food and drink selection. Mondays are dollar dog night as well. The staff were great especially in maintaining friendliness from the dogs outside. The place is very well maintained, and it's a fun atmosphere whether you're a human or a dog! Thanks

My dogs love coming here. Everyone who works here and brings their dogs here is super kind and attentive. It's really clean, waste gets disposed of immediately, there are great rufferees that look out for all the dogs and make sure they're having fun and not feeling uncomfortable. My dogs feel really safe to play or nap in the sun and they always have a great time playing with all the dogs here! Playing here has helped their socialization greatly and now my puppy feels much more comfortable playing rough with the bigger dogs. I like that you can also order from the doggy menu to give them a snack in between play time! It's also great that there is WiFi and outlets and really nice benches and tables where you can get some work done while your dogs play.

Stopped in for a second time today and my Shiba and i had lunch. I had the smash burger with truffle fries and my Shiba had the sweet potato tots. The burger was really good and the truffle fries were so tasty. No other dogs this afternoon so my pup had the run of the house. The staff are super friendly and they all just adore my Shiba! She loves it too. We will be sure to go again soon. A couple suggestions would be that if there were a live camera feed on the website, then customers can see the activity and if having the day pass it would be great to pop over when i can see several dogs present. Also, for slow days, like Mondays, maybe a house dog would be nice so single patrons like myself bringing a single dog could be guaranteed a fur friend. My Shiba would gladly apply for the role. Thanks again Boozy Mutt, we both had a great day today. See ya again soon

Fantastic place! The facility is legitimately spotless and the staff is caring, kind and loving towards the pups. We applied for membership on a Saturday morning and were approved within 5 mins. Came in for brunch and the food was excellent. Highly recommend the breakfast sammie! Our elderly dog Bella had a blast. We ordered her the sweet potato tots (which she inhaled) and then let her wobble around the backyard section with some huskies. 10/10 experience, we'll definitely be back!

My favorite thing to do here is grab lunch and sit in the picnic area relaxing on my lunch hour. Can be hard to go back to work on a gorgeous day, but well worth it in my book! There is one "not recommended" review...I have no idea what this person is talking about, this park is VERY well maintained. Grass is cut, the place is clean and the park ranger is never far from sight.

We had been observing this staff member during our time there. She was neglecting her duties and harassing the dogs while they were playing. She clearly did not understand how dogs play together and could not judge between what was acceptable and unacceptable playing. While walking past this staff member, she used profanity to insult our dog. I was in complete shock. How could she and how dare she call my son such a word! Any dog parent would be furious. Anyway, she did not realize the mother of this dog was next to her and had heard what she said. When my husband and I confronted her, she was speechless. We escalated the issue to management, and I was able to speak with the Chief Operating Officer. She was super understanding and informed me that they would address the issue with that staff member. She also asked that we not let this one experience deter us from returning to Bark Social. We definitely weren't going to come back to Bark Social that soon; we needed some time to get over this horrible experience. Fast forward to one weekend in August 2023, we decided to give Bark Social Manayunk another shot. We had a much, much better experience this time around. So much better, we came back again 2 weeks later. And we plan on coming back again and again. That staff member, who we had an incident with, was not there. I don't know if she still works there, but we haven't seen her. There are also more staff members on the grounds now. These staff members conducted themselves professionally with humans and with dogs. They cared for all the dogs and were very gentle. I am incredibly happy with what I saw. Bark Social opens 7 days a week as early as 8am and as late as 9pm. I realized I prefer coming here with our dog in the mornings and sticking around for a couple of hours. FYI, they have a breakfast menu (I know it's not on their website). The food is what it is. It's all right. People don't come to Bark Social with the main purpose to eat anyway. They bring their dogs here to play, and if they get hungry, they don't have to leave to get food.
